Question Notification sounds not working - Google Pixel 6

Hi all,
After the latest update today I can no longer hear notification sounds.
The strange thing is, in sounds, I can tap my ringtone and hear it, my alarm and hear it but in notification sounds no matter what sound I pick it doesn't play.
It worked yesterday before the 74 meg update that arrived today and a reboot doesn't help.
Any ideas?

Resolved, appears to be because of the Do not disturb settings I think, in my case the "gaming" schedule was ticked by default.

[Q] Volume issues with notifications

Is anyone else having issues with the volume level on their notifications. I have checked all the settings under notifications and the volume is max, plus changed to different tones. But most of the time I hear no sound when a text comes in. I have not installed that many apps or rooted the phone yet. Am I missing something. It seems to come back after restart but doesnt last long. It worked great for the first week.

Problem with my sound/vibrate since 2.3.5

Hi guys,
Yesterday I updated my SGS2 to 2.3.5.
Since the update I have a problem with my sound.
If I set vibrate on 'always', there's no problem with the sound of incoming calls, and everything is fine and dandy. But putting vibrate on 'always' puts the vibrate icon in my statusbar. That makes the bar a bit too crowded for my taste.
That's why I normally have vibrate set on 'only in silent mode'.
But if I set the vibrate option on anything other than 'always' (for example 'only in silent mode'), incoming calls make no sound at all.
I've tried looking for an earlier thread, but found nothing concerning this problem.
Does anyone know what to do?

[Q] Losing Notification Sounds

Posted about this in the N4 section but no solution.
Over the last few weeks my phone will randomly lose its notification sounds and vibration and stay silent when i recieve a text message, line message, or email. I thought maybe it was a ROM or kernel issue but after changing both ROM and kernel the problem persists until reboot. I havent installed any new apps since it first began so at this point i have absolutely no idea wth is going on and its very frustrating to get to my messages late due to not getting a notification sound. Anyone else experience this?

I have this issue too with my one v, i found that after i receive a notification that was silent if i tap the volume down once and the volume up once the problem fixes itself by resetting the notification volume

Vibration with notification tone!!!

Hi everyone, I'm new here but I follow forum since long ago. I do not know if it is the right place to post it (sorry, newbie)...
I'm from Brazil and will try to explain my issue... it is driving me insane!!!
I had a SGS3 with Android 4.3JB and everything used to work like a charm, the way I would it to be!
Then I decided to retire my old S3 and I bought a Moto X 2nd generation (XT1097) with LP 5.1 (now it is MM 6.0).
The hardware/software are GREAT but my problems with sounds and notifications started!
Whatsapp vibration is OFF and NOTIFICATION SOUND is ON, so if phone has sound enabled, he does not vibrate and play a bip sound (like I want).
But when I put the phone into vibrate mode, even with the VIBRATION set to OFF it vibrates!
For this not vibrate, I have to set "notification tone" to none under the settings > sound and notifications, but with that, I loose the bip sound when phone is not in vibration mode!
I little bit confuse, but searching in Google I found this: "When your device's ring volume is turned all the way down to vibrate mode, notifications that are set to play a sound will vibrate instead."
My question is: Is there a way to prevent the system to trigger this kind of vibration? I do not want the OS to "convert" sound into vibration.... any app, Xposed Module or anything else???
Sorry about my english... Thanks guys!
Same as you
can any one answer .....?I have same problem ...
nothing?
No one can help us?

Notification volume does not return to its last state

Hello buddies,
I dragged this issue with me since my S7 Edge I had before my new brand S9+. On the S7 Edge the issue would happen 2 or 3 times in a week. But now with my S9+ it's every single day.
Issue: During my workday, I use the silent mode to avoid any noise at work. When I'm back to home, I put back the "normal" sound mode, but here is the issue, the notification volume doesn't go back as it was sin the morning (generally 100%), it stays at 0%. So everytime I quit vibrator or silence mode I have to manually raise the notification volume or I won't get any sound for these.
It's quite annoying and I don't see any subject about that, I checked all settings in my phone but I see nothign related to this.
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks!
Do you get quiet notification sounds? As all my sounds are quiet. If I play a notification sound on zedge ect... it's loud but as soon as I choose it as my notification the volume is very low. I've reset the phone but it's still the same.
Could it be an app you are using?
Well, it could be "quiet" notification since the volume is at 0%, it's not like the sound picture of notification got a line across. Anyway, quiet or muted, I don't hear them and that's the problem.
For the application idea, I really don't know what sort of application could do that? I would like to keep the wipe data/factory reset as a last resort.
Something seems to be resetting my volumes to different levels. I changed System to 0 and set Ringtone and Notification to match, however when I went into volume again this morning, System was at half and it seems like Notification reset itself. Is there some built in Tasker like function on this phone that might be changing things based on some outside variable? If not, this is a really annoying bug.
