[Help] Understanding the difference between Android over different platforms/devices

Hey guys,
I will try to post my question and problem as clearly as I can :
What is the difference between an Android OS TV (example mini PC with Android to make your TV smart) compared with Android OS for your personal Phone device or tablet?
For example : I have an Odroid Mini PC from Hardkernel, with Android OS fw 4.4.4 with root. I also have in my home several devices such as Android TV (came with the Smart TV). The main problem is what or where is a root file system that allows the TV to be found in the network?
The question is : When i use the Google Cast from youtube, Why i Can't see both devices? Where or What i have to do in order to make this option available.
On my personal device (phone) Asus ZenPhone 2 fw : 6.0.1 and Odroid Mini PC (fw 4.4.4) i found on different websites the possibility of the app "CheapCast" which cannot be found anymore on Google Store
If I run from Windows (Chrome web broser) the option to "Cast to device", I can only see the Smart TV , not the phone or the mini pc. The thing that disturbes me that if I use the YouTube App from any Android Device, i can select all 3 devices . Why?
Thank you for your time.
Please tell me if i didn't make myself clear, i can create a gif to display the issue or re-tell the story

Any Android 10 supported Rom?

Any Android 10 supported Rom for Umidigi One Pro?
Apparently there is, and at least two articles point to it. I already have TWRP and Eragon2.5 (based on Android 8.1) installed, but I found myself having to do a restore. I don't know whether I needed a later version of TWRP (I have 3.2.3), or if another one exists.
Here's your link for the allegedly supported Android 10: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/releases/tag/v204
You need system-quack-arm64-aonly-gapps.img.xz
I had to uncompress it to the img file because the version of TWRP I have doesn't recognise xz as a valid compressed file. When I installed it, it rebooted to a bootloop.
Yeah tried many. Using ArrowOS 9 at the moment. Working perfectly. No 10 worked for me as well. Just stuck at bootloop
Link to arrowOS9?

Thanks.
I'm interested. Unfortunately, nowhere can I find user experience with the Umidigi One Pro and ArrowOS.
What does work or what doesn't work?
Battery life?
What patch level do the security fixes have?
Maybe you can answer a few questions

Arrow OS 9 Seems to have best battery life out of all. Security patches are of Jan 2020.
NFC does not work, cam is ****ty. Sometimes UI errors (in Arrow OS 10) but can fix by installing some other launcher and Gapps. After restart time and date goes incorrect unless you are connected to internet. and Gifs become glitchy.
As of now the best Rom i can tell for Umidigi One Pro is AncientOS-CIVILIZATION-v3.7. There is 3.8 out there but that does not work. No issues other than bad cam, nfc and time incorrect problem.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/amber-gsi/files/AncientOS-CIVILIZATION-v3.7/
Also with AncientOS-CIVILIZATION-v3.7 you can get latest security patches installed within rom.
I'm trying to get Android 10 on my One Pro, all the AOSP builds won't boot (stuck in Android boot screen). Am I using the wrong ones, I have been trying "a-only", "arm" variants ?
Thanks a lot.
I tried tons of different Android 10 ROMs on the Umidigi One Pro, the only one that worked so far is the v204 of @phhusson, but for some reason only 8GB of memory are accessible (out of 64). Did I do something wrong ?

(Solved) Assistance in finding help in finding a legit copy of the Lenovo Tab M8 FHD Android 9 firmware.

I was recently gifted a lovely Lenovo Tab M8 FHD tabled, and while the hardware and overall design is very spiffy, Android 10 is absolutely horrible on it. Android 10 is using up massive amount of resources, has some real bad optimization issues and it's just bad in general. I checked the official Lenovo forums and there are tons of threads about how the Android 10 OTA update that was not announced or anything has caused issues with their devices. I read both on there multiple times, and in a thread on here that it's possible to use the Lenovo rescue and recovery tool to install Android 9 through putting the old rom in a folder that has the name of the most up to date rom. I found two separate roms with the same name, if slightly different file sizes while I was combing through the internet, and while I tried to use both to get Android 9 on my device, neither worked. So, I am hoping and praying that someone on xda can give me some badly needed help with a link or even vague directions toward where I can get the firmware I so seek. I am rambling on a bit and I do apologize for that, but I can sincerely say that it would be a big weight off my metaphorical chest if I could get some help with this. Thanks for reading my post. Also, I apologize if I mixed up rom and firmware at times.
Just got Tab M8 FHD and decided to give Android 9 a try since tablet is more laggy than I though.
I got rom from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/lenovo/Tab_M8_FHD/TB-8705F/
Flashed it with SP_Flash_Tool, using the Download agent MTK_AllInOne_DA_6765.bin (found in the archive with the ROM) (I disabled "Check LIB DA match" in Flash tool options).
Rom TB-8705F_S100099_200706_BMP.zip is Android 9. Got Magisk and EdXposed running.
Maybe it's just in my mind but it does seem faster than Android 10 - well at least when scrolling through menus or browsing Play Store. Overall performance is probably the same so downgrading won't make games / apps run smoother.

After you installed Android 9, did you have to use the disbale vbmeta method like they did in Android 10 to get root or did you have to use another method?

How i can unlock bootloader and how i can install better version android or linux on modecom freetab 9706 ips2 x4+?

Hi!
I need help with this tablet. Now i have android 4.2.2 and using in 2023 was with 2 GB a lot boring (i use factory reset). I need help with this tablet. Plz help. Greetings from Poland...
No way to update android, sorry.
How do you know bootloader is locked? That tablet seems very old.

k then only way is instaling linux? But how and which?
In general, the situation looks like this: my task is to make it magically speed up a bit and make it possible to browse websites, movies, etc. Perhaps my employment after the internship depends on it, so I want to prove myself
what? where you got the idea from we can install linux on android devices?
i see on yt video that i wanna try...
Or install unofficial iso but i don't know which and how
good luck with youtube fun... 'linux' requires underlying android kernel, it's not a true linux distro one can just install on random devices.
smartphones are embedded devices that require compiled firmware especially for the hardware.
k k now i know but is a unofficial android ideal for my tablet?
the same answer applies. android is no 'distro' one can't just install android on random devices.
you need kernel source code, device tree and binary blobs for compiling AOSP. assuming you fulfill that requirements (which you don't) please refer to the LineageOS Wiki, pick any random example and read How to Build for your device just to get a feeling how it works.
Okay, I understand. So I'm asking for guidance on what I need to do to have the latest browsers (preferably firefox or chrome). Because not all pages enter, for example: tvp vod (vod from Polish tv - the page enters, but the video does not enter). The same goes in yt, but mega muddy and is max 360. Any alternative programs for yt I can install there? If so, what kind?
the problem is with outdated root CA certificates. you need to update manually in /system/etc/security/cacerts (maybe @nmyshkin can help you out) or find browser that comes with its own certificates (such as firefox) but compatible for your device, like UC Mini Browser
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.UCMobile.intl
for youtube try YouTube Vanced (maybe your android is too old)
https://youtubevanced.com/old-versions
I try UC Mini Browser but still a little site don't good work (i mean i have info about broken script on site). If @nmyshikn don't help how i can put good root CA certificates?
