I cant fine the location of the bootanimation on EMUI 9.1
I've looked in System/Media.
also product/etc/...
Can anyone point me in the right direction, going back to stock but want to get rid of my carriers bootanimation and shutdown animation.

Thanks Alf, unfortunately, even though I see those in that location they do not seem to be the correct ones. If I change these I am still met with the '3 mobile' startup and shutdown animation.
Do you know if these are hidden elsewhere?

Hm, have no idea, it works on global version.
It's probably a stupid idea, but tryt to replace product/etc/media with files from global,

Backup your origi files!
Found them in:
'Version/special_cust/ane-L01/h3g/gb/media'
(Different for phone version and carrier)
Removing the above allowed the
'Product/Etc/media' to work

Yeah sure, just download MagicLocker from market and pay for "Colors theme" or "Darkness theme" or "Roui theme"

There should be a thread somewhere of "things you think are only for MIUI but you can download from Market".
Of course now that I've typed that I'm sure someone will link me to it.
EDIT: Aww, MagicLocker's almost a perfect app. You can't set a lockscreen wallpaper that's different than your homescreen (unless you use the theme wallpaper) and if your system wallpaper is more than one screen width, it squishes it down to fit in one screen. SO close.

Some of us have. After reading this GUIDE and comparing what the guide said with what was found in the Sony tablet's bootanimation.zip file, I was able to create my own boot animations. It's a task that requires a fair bit of time and imagination, but in the end, your tablet truly is yours.

I did a bunch of custom boot animations for my old Galaxy Tab. If there's definitely demand, I could try and port some of them over to the Tablet S. Same goes for special requests, if anyone's got any...
maybe we can use other device boot animations

Since I've installed oreo I see issues with black themes such as MINU's Black V2.
It appears at least in two locations.
1. Battery usage
2. Contact details
In first location everything is black/dark as should be but battery usage chart has white background.
In second location everything is black too but frames are white.
Anyone knows how to correct it?
I don't want use substratum/andromeda cause it needs PC connection after phone restart

did you change the dpi of your phone? if you happen to change the dpi, try to bring it back in the default setting.

Yes, I did. Nothing happened.
Verizon S23 Ultra: Quick Share stopped working last week. Rebooted all 3 Verizon phones and verified Quick Share was turned on.
Any ideas why?

Try in Safe mod.

Tried these suggestions and none worked. However "Nearby Share" does work.
Found the problem, "Quick Share Agent" was off.
