Question MetroPCS Sim Unlock Help - OnePlus Nord N200 5G

Does anyone know how to SIM unlock a OnePlus Nord N200 on MetroPCS network??

I'm not sure on the SIM unlock, but if you're trying to SIM unlock so that you can enable to option to unlock the bootloader, then try the adb command or the debloat script from this thread:
The Quest for a Bootloader Unlock (partial guide, T-Mobile variant, may work for MetroPCS/Metro variant)
OK, this process has been hell, but I'm gonna try and consolidate everything I've worked out so far in one place. This all applies only to the T-Mobile variant (ie. it comes preloaded with all the T-Mobile bloatware) of the N200 on the T-Mobile...

It should allow you to unlock your bootloader without needing to SIM unlock.

SIM UNLOCKED (bought in September/2021)
It got sim-unlocked after 180day, by simply pressing "unlock permanently" without using Metro or T-Mobile sim ever. after 180day however the phone is seems out of time (outdated).

How to check If my device is Sprint unlocked or OEM
I Is there a way for me to check if the device is SPRINT unlocked or OEM unlocked ?
I was able to stump/Bump and install other roms and I am currently using GSM Network on this Sprint version of LG.
Also looking 2know this...
How can I check if my Sprint LS990 is Sprint unlocked or OEM.
Guess if i can't access Bump screen (when device is off - holding Vol' Down+Power....when i see LG logo releasing power and immediately hold again) i am just NOT Bumped(=unlocked)?
Thanks!

Carrier unlocking and bump are 2 totally separate things. Bump referred to here, as unlocked, means you have twrp recovery, for flashing custom roms and backups. Carrier unlock means sim card port has been unlocked for use on any gsm network.

I really didnt knew that,
I do have a TWRP installed....which means it the same but different method.
I use my Sprint G3's out of u.s on a GSM/LTE network.
But i also interested to know if Sprint made them own unlock (with code...) or they did made an OEM unlock as they told,
Thanks for your help!

I dont need them...as for my understanding, if i have a TWRP it means my Bootloader is unlocked.
I think i mixed between two things:
1) Unlock to any Network by a code from Sprint to n oem by manufacturer.
2) Unlock Bootloader to install rom.
So if i can use a GSM network outside u.s = Phone is unlocked.
If i have a Recovery = Bootloader is unlocked.
Thanks!

Correct, to my understanding boot loader is not really unlocked, just "bumped".

So Sim unlock (by any carrier) & oem unlock completly are the same by all matter?
Thanks again!

so when u unlock you manually enter the apn of the desired gsm network. how does it work in case of roaming where it might have to switch to other gsm networks?
would switching to other networks be automatic or needs to be manually keyed in.

If you are on cloudy rom you dint have to worry about all these because his base rom is international it autoco figures the apn settings and selects the best network.

International SIM Unlock and Installing Custom ROMs

I am moving to Taiwan next month and I wanted to unlock my phone to be able to use SIM cards from their carriers there. I am planning to call Sprint to have them do it for me OTA but I just wanted to check on a couple things first.
1. If I decide to install a custom ROM after Sprint does the SIM unlock, will it "break" the unlock? I'm not exactly clear on what controls the locking of the SIM card so I just want make sure I know what to avoid doing to my phone in order to keep the phone unlocked for international use.
2. If I cancel my Sprint service and only use the phone on an international carrier will the SIM unlock stick? I'm assuming it would but I just want to make sure because of my ignorance of how this whole SIM unlocking thing works.
Thanks in advance, any insight about this topic would be greatly appreciated!
The ssu app will work if your on KK.
Once it's unlock it stays unlocked.

Thanks for the link! I think I'll try going the free route first and have Sprint unlock it for me. If I end up running into any problems in the future with flashing ROMs, it's good to know that there's an app I can buy to keep it unlocked.

Do you need to unlock phones SIM in order to unlock the bootloader or root the phone?

I just got a new Tmobile LG V20 H918TN and haven't unlocked the sim yet.
Can I proceed with unlocking the bootloader and rooting the phone before unlocking the sim or does that need to be done first?
SIM unlock has nothing to do with bootloader unlock or root. You can do that without SIM unlocking.

Thanks so much for getting back to me so quickly. I figured that was the case, but better to be safe than sorry. In the past, when I rooted my phones, they were always old enough that the sim was already unlocked. This phone is so new that I can't unlock the sim without paying for it. I only need to wait about a month to be able to do that, but I wanted to unlock the bootloader and root my phone right away. I appreciate all the effort and work that this website provides. Cheers!

SM-T867V Software Modifications

I've been trying to go through this forum to see if you have already answered this question but could not find any reference to it.
I received a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 as a gift and even though it is supposedly unlocked I have difficulty using my local sims in it. For starters every time I insert a non Verizon sim I get a notification reminding me that it isn't a Verizon sim that I cannot dismiss. Also, I would like to remove and not disable the preloaded apps that came with the device and completely remove/change the Verizon startup logo. I has some prior experience with rooting older android phones (up to Android 6) but am a little worried about making any modifications to this tablet. I know there are step by step instructions on installing TWRP on the SM-T860 and T865 but can anyone be so kind as to walk me through just rooting my SM-T867V and removing the bloatware/boot logo and fixing the non Verizon sim thing so that my device can use the LTE capabilities?
VZW is known for locking the bootloaders of their devices so in short no TWRP or root. As for removing some of the bloat it can be done through ADB commands without root.
Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. Any links to the guide regarding the adb removal? And if I were to get the bootloader unlocked, what would be my next steps?
Here's a tutorial.
https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
As for the bootloader I meant locked as in cannot be unlocked. No TWRP, No Root, No Custom Binaries Period. The only models of the Tab S6 that allow bootloader unlocks to my knowledge are the T860 or T865
Thanks again
I guess I have to annoy Verizon and have them unlock the bootloader. I really want to get rid off the branding and the non verizon sim message.

They definitely won't be unlocking the bootloader. However the SIM lock should be handled if the prerequisites are met.

General SM-S906U1 doesn't have fastboot

So i got the S22+ from Spectrum and i have been looking into rooting it but there is no oem unlock, so i tried to go into fastbood with adb but all it does is reboot the device it does not even go to fastboot therefore this model is impossible to root right?
You need unlocked bootloader to root, bootloader cannot be unlocked.

So therefore i gotta buy another model to unlock the bootloader?
Snapdragon U and U1 are locked bootloader no oem unlock, can't be unlocked or rooted. If you are in United States depending on which carrier you have, you need to be careful buying International devices. I'm on At&t and they only support certain variations of devices now. Trust me I found out the hard way. If it's not on their supported devices they will disable your Sim card for unauthorized device. And trying to have them whitelist the imei does nothing
