Question Pixel 6 VoLTE unlock in non supported country - Google Pixel 6
Hi,
Is there any way to turn on VoLTE in countries where you can't buy pixel phones?
I bought my pixel 6 from Germany but I live in Hungary.

This module works for me for VoLTE. 5G is not working but I'm not sure if it's caused by network coverage in my neighborhood.

That's great! I don't even have a 5G plan because they are pricier, but it's good to see that there is a fix.
That shouldn't even work considering the hardware differences.
I have tried both A & B versions of this project on my google pixel 6 pro and neither work.
Can someone confirm whether the above modules are working to enable VoLTE or is there any other module which is confirmed working? I'm planning to root only for the VoLTE purpose.

Took me a while to figure out ... I'm on a 4G(+) network but out-of-the box the P6P did not have the correct config (unfortunately). It was displaying 'LTE' in the status bar. I found out how to have correct 4G or 4G+ symbols in the status bar...

Just keep in mind that volte should be supported and enabled by your carrier.

This one worked for me (VoLTE and WiFi calling) in Poland on T-Mobile (heyah 01).

There's any way to enable VoLTE call options on Realme devices? Because, some Realme devices don't show this option when using Bangladeshi Carrier. In Xiaomi phones, *#*#86583#*#* code enable VoLTE options. Any code or trick for VoLTE options on realme(xt and 5i) devices without Root?
any update on this one? can't use VoLTE also cause I can't activate it.

VoLTE and VoWIFI
I use the realme 7 pro on realme UI V1.0 and android 10, Build number RMX2170_11_A.34, Baseband version Q_V1_p14, kernel version 4.14.117, ColorOS V7. Using in Austria/Europe. Although both carriers (I use different ones with my two sim cards) support VoLTE and VoWIFI (it works well with Samsung S9+) I can't activate it on the realme because it is not even shown in the network settings. Is there anything I can do to make it work? I also tried changing the region of the device, but I always get invalid mmi code when entering *#3954391#. Also *#9434# does not work. I'm happy for any ideas, thank you!
U need to call your provider and tell them to do it, thats what i did and worked instantly

Click to collapse No, it seems that it would require the operator to activate VoLTE for our phone model and I didn't find any hidden menu where I could force enabling VoLTE. I switched to Oneplus Nord 2, but I have the same problem - I have 2 SIMs from different operators, where one has VoLTE option visible and second doesn't (while it was visible in Xiaomi phone)...

I am from NZ and on stock. I was checking my sim setting and found that 4G calling option is available. Does that mean VoLTE is enabled in non supported country as well? Can someone else please confirm? Below is the screenshot.

It looks like your carrier is Spark and the phone now have the configs for that carrier. Anyone else is Having volte with this Beta?
Poland , carrier Play/RMB and also VoLTE works on lastest beta
In Israel it doesn't work with the latest beta.

Seems to be thing that gets a carrier promoted from the others.pb carrier settings file for unsupported or obscure carriers. Same case for Spark as well. This is something that really needs to be set by default for every carrier, even stub configs that might not actually have VoLTE ready. 2G and 3G are going away.

This is just great news. I hope this does not get reverted on launch though. I was just reading up and preparing myself to root my P6 for VoLTE and VoWifi, as it has been a while since I rooted any of my devices. Last device I rooted was a Nexus, LOL. Maybe I'll try to hold off rooting then.

In italy most of the phones doesn't work, it's all carriers fault, they enable it only for iphones and a few android devices, samsung usually

Volte is available in Android 12, works for me
in Hungary it work only at Telekom, and only for outgoing calls. Incoming calls use 2G.
