Galaxy s21 - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

Hoping someone can give me advise, my wife today received a Samsung galaxy s21 unlocked with an o2 contract, wifi calling is a must as are signal in the house is none existent, before i open the box, after speaking to o2 they have said.
"to get Wifi and 4G Calling, your device will need to use O2 firmware.
To check if your phone’s running O2 firmware, dial *#1234# and look at the CSC entry. If this line includes ‘TEF’, ‘O2U’ or ‘OTF’ then your device has O2 firmware and you can set up Wifi and 4G Calling.
If the CSC doesn't include one of these codes then Wifi and 4G Calling isn’t supported on your phone right now.
the company i bought the contact front said the phone is unlocked so this will not be o2 firmware
I've considered flashing with o2 firmware but cannot find a rom with TEF, O2U or OTF in the CSC
any advise would be appreciated

Please provide the model number of the phone from the About section.
Otherwise you can have a look samfw.com or https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Please do some research before flashing a carrier firmware. It could brick your device if not done properly or the firmware is for a different model number

[Q] unlocked but branded O2, using Tesco sim

Sorry I'm another noob to android.
I have an unlocked but branded O2 GT-I9100, I am trying to use a Tesco sim, everything works apart from the mobile internet. I have manually set up the Tesco APN on numerous occaisions but still can't it. When I put an O2 sim in, everything works perfectly.! I have tried vodafone sim and it's the same as Tesco. It seems like the firmware is somehow blocking anything but O2 from accessing the data connection. Is there an easy soloution.? thanks
model : GT-I9100
Android version: 4.0.3
Baseband version: I9100XXLPW
Kernal version: 3.0.15-I9100XWLD-CL524746 [email protected]#3
Build number: IML74K.XWLPD
Remove all APN's. Add only the Tesco APN, ensuring you choose 'default' as APN type. Reboot. Check to ensure the Tesco APN hasn't gone away after you've rebooted. Test.
If you've already done the above, I'm tipping the phone's locked (it does sound that way from the details in your post; you're having the same problem with two sims/different carriers).
O2 phones are meant to be unlocked anyhow....same as unbranded.
Can you confirm youve had the phone since new.
It shouldn't matter if the phone is locked or not as Tesco use o2s masts and so the phone won't know the difference
If voice calls work then presumably that proves the phone is unlocked and it is therefore most likely to be an APN settings issue?
I use a GiffGaff SIM in an unlocked SII GT-I9100 which operates in the same way as Tesco (both run as 'virtual operators' on the O2 network). Once the GiffGaff APN settings are applied the data connection works fine for me.
Maybe you can post the exact settings you're using for your Tesco APN configuration and someone can take a look at them.
Alternatively, are there any apps that help with APN settings? Tweakker, for example, claims to cover Tesco Mobile so might help. Note that there is a separate "Tweakker ICS APN Beta" for Android 4.x devices.

Thank You All for replying, I have fixed the problem. I have de-branded O2 from the phone and the APN is now working on all networks
using Odin3
Firmware: I9100XWKF1
Andriod Version: v4.0.3
By 'debranding' do you mean you flashed a different rom/CSC or simply removed all the guff/apps carriers put in their stock roms ?
Edit - Glad you got it sorted BTW

I Flashed the firmware and now it's like straight from the factory.. lol
Which firmware (I.E which carrier's stock rom or was it unbranded UK, or something else entirely ?) single file in PDA section of Odin or multi-part ? Reason I'm asking is if someone else has a similar problem, your solution might give them some clues as to how to fix it if we know exactly what you did.
This is what I did

I googled the problem, and found a website that de-brands, even tho I could probably find the software for free, I bought it (£9.99) and followed the instructions :
C:\Program Files (x86)\FoneFunShop i9100 Debrand Pack\Guide\I9100_Guide.html
Hope someone finds this useful

This is unbranded for UK

[Q] Missing CSC - Sim-locked

I have the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100M, which is the Bell Mobility (Canada) variant. Same hardware as the i9100 and capable of running roms for the international version; only difference is the crapload of bloatware Bell Mobility had installed on it.
Though a Canadian phone, the phone worked well using a T-Mobile SIM here in the US. After tinkering with Odin and a couple of ROMs I flashed the phone from a stock Gingerbread ROM to a leaked version of Samsung's 4.2 Jellybean ROM, made for the i9100, a couple months before the update on Kies was ready. Unfortunately, I sim-locked the phone, the cause I assume is a missing CSC file.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have been told already by one phone unlocking company that to restore the CSC file I have to flash a new one. Will I have to flash a ROM with the proper CSC file then have someone unlock the device with a sim unlock code or can I just flash a CSC no sim-unlock needed? I NEED HELP PLEASE!!! I screwed up, and it's really annoying having a smartphone that works for everything but making phone calls or texting (the irony).
PICS I HOPE WILL HELP ARE ATTACHED

[Q] Original development UK ROMS

I'd just like to ask where I could find the original development roms which would work in the UK, as the ones in the thread are for the international version of the s3 i9300 only. This would be of huge help. Thank you
The UK phone is the international version, there is no difference. i9300 is the same model number, don't flash anything with a different one.
Okay thank you. Why do all the ROMs always say emergency calls only and the original ROMS work fine
Depends on the history of your handset, especially the efs folder and modem.
Ah I had no problem with the IMEI or baseband. I was receiving signal but it would say not registered on a network
Possibly your custom rom is missing the correct network settings, you haven't wiped the phone properly before flashing, recovery is out of date etc. etc. Also, try another SIM to see if it's a network problem.

Changing CSC of an unlocked S9+ G965U

Hello everyone. I'm struggling to find a starting point on how to change the csc of my phone. I haven't changed a csc before and there are lots of conflicting info on the forum. I'm familiar with Odin and flashing ROMs in general.
I bought my phone from the US, and it has the AT&T G65USQU1ARBI (unlocked) software, however, I live outside the US and I want to change the CSC. I want Samsung Pay to show me offers from my region.
Where to start?
Should I flash a different ROM straight away? and would that change my CSC? Obviously, I don't want any of the AT&T features, so I don't mind changing the ROM.
Is there a ROM that I can flash that supports multi-CSC options? The Samsung variant in my region is Exynos, so can I still change the CSC to my region with my Snapdragon S9+ ?
Thanks guys.
EDIT: Just learned about the snapdragon root dilemma. So I guess the root option will be dismissed.
I bought a s9 + G965F with csc Singapore but I use in Brazil 4G network is ok but I can not use voLTE and Wi-Fi calling can someone help me? version of the OXM operator.
