Greetings. I have a HONOR 10 COL-L29 updated to Android 10 - EMUI 10.0. Using the HONOR OPTIMIZER cleaning tool, I have mistakenly deleted many videos and photos and would like to recover them without root so as not to lose the warranty. I have tried both from smartphone and from computer with different applications found on the net for Android data recovery, debugging as indicated, without ever success. These apps only find all the videos and photos that I currently have in the internal memory and do not scan the deep memory.
I would like to know if there is a paid program that allows me to recover lost files without root? I hope so.
Hopefully there is a safe and proven tutorial to root and unroot without wiping all data and hard reset the phone?
I've read about Kingoroot, which promises both root and unroot, but I don't know if it works and is it safe or risk ruining my HONOR 10 forever?
Thanks

Hello all, I am a new subscriber, so I don't know if I am writing in the right place.
I have an LGE Nexus 4 device installing Android 5.1.1, build LMY48T.
I need access the files in the internal system memory of my phone, in order to try to find and restore some records deleted from an SQLite database (they are a bunch of Google Keep notes that have been accidentally erased). To do so, I must necessarily root my phone.
Is somebody capable to suggest me a rooting way of my phone, obviously without wiping my data? I am just interested in rooting my phone and keeping my data, nothing else.
Thanks in advance for any eventual help.
Hello there,
I recently lost my mobile and when i found the phone the next day , the person who took it had already fully formatted it.My phone is One Plus 3T and it was unrooted before.I tried many ways and apps but all says I need to root my phone now to get the photos n datas back.Could you please suggest me any ways to get my datas without rooting. And shall i get all my datas 100% back if i root it now though?Since i have found my mobile ,i haven't use its storage so that its previous data print don't get overlap. Please suggest me effective way to get my photos n datas back without rooting if possible or if not than by rooting process. And if rooting is a must than suggest me a link of rooting OP3T,i am new to it.
Thanks.
You can try different software but you will not be able to get everything back. The best you will be able to hope for is maybe 25% of the photos but that is all you will get back.
could you please suggest me different softwares for recovery of photos without rooting?..
Without knowing the pocess used to format the device, and any subsequent use, it would be impossible to tell how much of your data still resides on your device. Any guess made on this would be frivolous. If the data is extremly important, forensic techniques could be applied to retrieve the data. This would require proffesional forensic software such as XRY to aquire an image, and analyse it. This software is extremly expensive, and not designed for end users, but is deployed by some data recovery firms.
It boils down to the depths of your pockets, and the importance of the data lost.
Hey there, its my first post over here as it's obvious, i know my question might fit better under the dev section but it wont let me create a thread there, so bare with me.
Anyway, the problem is that i accidently deleted some media files from my Huawei Mate 10 lite (Images & Videos) and since then i spent like over a week googling trying to find a way to recover them without a clue. All the android data recovery apps require Root access to be able to do its magic, then again as i heard it's not possible to root Huawei phones on Android 8 with the latest security patches since its not possible to unlock the bootloader in order to install a custom one to flash whatever is needed to root the device, so that's a dead end at least to my knowledge.
The question is, Is there any way at all to recover those deleted files without the need to root the device ? if root is required, is there any safe way to accomplish this nowadays ?
Thanks in advance,

Unfortunately, there's no way to recover deleted media files . I had the same problem on rooted phone. I have tried several programs without success.
(If you store some new data in your memory then there is a big chance that the data get stored over the deleted data. So no chance of recovery after overwriting a humongous amount of data.)
Hey.
I use a Redmi note 7. A couple months ago, some important photos and videos from my phone got deleted. My phone isn't rooted. Hence, I'm unable to use data recovery softwares like dr. fone, and other apps like disk digger don't seem to work for me. In order to root my redmi phone, i would first need to unlock the bootloader, which will require a factory reset and will wipe all my current data also. I'm skeptical if i will be able to recover those deleted files after a full factory reset using dr. fone. It'll be helpful if someone can tell if there's a way around.

You've no chance.
As far as I know, if you just want to recover some media files, such as photos and videos ,root is not required. Mobikin Doctor for Android free version should be helpful, use it to detect the lost videos and photos, check if the lost files are there. If they are, recovery is possible.
Hi everyone,
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but I am running out of ideas.
I have lost some important photos on my Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I have tried a couple of photo recover apps such as diskdigger, dr.fone, to name a few and they do not find them. It says to perform deep scans i need to root. Is there any app or pc software I could use to do deep scans on the internal memory of my phone?
P.s. I've looked at ways of rooting the phone but I'm confused, was looking at using twrp and magisk but not sure how to start as I read somewhere samsung phones have their own flash software.
Thanks for any support
If I recall correctly, rooting any Samsung phone requires a hard reset, so that's probably a worse idea lol
Why not check if they're in the "thrash" folder in your gallery, if you have it on
Or check if you have sync on on any of your photo apps
Cheers, ive checked the trash folder and its empty so they must have gone outside the last 30 days, and until this weekend I never synced my photos with the cloud (rookie mistake I know)
Guess they are gone forever

Usually, if the deleted photos not being overwritten by new data, such data recovery softwares can help us recover them back. But before that, we need to root it by using samsung root app. You can search such root apps online and choose the one you like better. Then it can help you scan out all data on your Samsung Galaxy S9+ and recover them back. Please note: If the deleted photos are overwritten, there is no way to recover them back.
