issue with android 12 in large files - Samsung Galaxy S21 Questions

hi
Today I fully installed Android 12 via Odin
But I noticed that I cannot transfer large files larger than 4 GB to the phone
Either via mtp or even after rooting via recovery
Any suggestion to solve this problem?

[Q] Data Recovery

Hi all,
I recently got a 16 gb wi-fi Galaxy Tab 10.1, still unrooted. Made a spreadsheet in quickoffice (.xlsx) and attempted to transfer to my computer via flash drive. Pulled the drive out after transfer w/o ejecting it and corrupted the file (listed as 0 kb). The file is no longer listed on the tab.
Is there a chance a data recovery option could retrieve the original spreadsheet?
If so, how? I'm on a Mac and have had success using Data Recovery II, but it never recognizes the tab as a drive that can be scanned / recovered
I'm definitely a noob when it comes to working with tablets, apologies if this seems obvious or has already been answered.

[Q] Problems transferring music and photos

I'm having the following two problems transferring music and photos, and was wondering if they are known issues with or without workarounds.
1. When I plug the phone into the PC and try to get at photos, I can't see any thumbnails--just generic JPEG icons.
2. Transferring mp3s and photos often just plain fails. I've tried rebooting phone and PC, unplugging and replugging...but it happens seemingly for no reason. As in, I'll successfully transfer one photo or mp3 to the phone fine, and try another one immediately after without changing anything and it'll hang for minutes before declaring itself a failure.
Any help?

What OS are you running on your PC? If it is Windows XP, then try to install Windows Media Player 11 and run windows update as well.
Galaxy S III does not support USB Mass Storage like older Android phones but rather uses MTP/PTP as the file transfer modes which are only supported out of the box in Windows Vista or later. For Mac OS X, you'd also need to download MTP client.

I'm running Windows 7.
The problem is not that the PC can't handle MTP mode at all. The problem is that it is inconsistent. One album of mp3s will transfer just fine and 30 seconds later a single mp3 won't move at all. And the fact that I can't see image thumbnails (only generic image-file icons) is a real headache.
Obviously one day I'll be rooting and installing CM or something else, but I'd like to be as fully functional as possible until then.
Is anyone else having similar problems?
Copy and paste never a problem for me .

[Q] Samsung Exhilarate SGH I577 Unofficial(CM 10)(TWRP) USB Issues

This is a direct question with regards to the developments going on in Misc Development
I have a Samsung SGH-i577 phone running:
Android Version: 4.1.2
Kernel version: [email protected] #1
CyanogenMod version: 10-20130110-UNOFFICIAL-i577
Build Date: 10/JAN/2013
I'm running this with TWRP recover manager.
First off, thanks for putting the time into this ROM. It's such a great phone and so much better with JB on it.
For my issue, I'm have problems when trying to connect my Exhilarate to my computer via USB to transfer files. For some reason, the option to mount is not coming up. I've tried with and without USB debugging enabled, but to no avail. I have a Galaxy SII Skyrocket running CM9 which can connect with no issues and I have not been able to find a config issue that would be causing this.
When I reboot into TWRP, I'm able to mount my SDCARD which will then allow me to transfer files between my computer and my phone, but I can only/only do this when booted into TWRP and not while in JB.
Thanks again and I look forward to a solution!
PS
I can't respond to the dev forum because this is a new act.
In Jelly Bean, the PC file access mechanism has been changed. USB storage no longer involves unmounting the SD card on the phone, and then providing the PC raw USB mass storage access to the card. Instead, access is provided using a high level Media Transfer Protocol (also known as Windows Media PlaysForSure) which allows for your PC to access the SD card without rendering it unavailable to Android. This storage mode is automatically activated as soon as the phone is plugged into the PC; there is absolutely no reason to require the end user to activate the storage (as there is no reason to have to prevent Android from accessing the card at the same time that the PC is accessing it), thus it simply happens, no notification provided. However, this has some drawbacks - you cannot use your phone as a flash drive, you cannot use the SD card storage for running "portable applications", and you need to run at least Windows XP to use your phone's storage.
Look in "My Computer" - you'll find a media device named "SAMSUNG-SGH-I577". File access will work like certain models of MP3 players, especially those with Microsoft Windows Media "PlaysForSure" certification. Your phone will no longer receive a drive letter assignment, though.

[Q] After Flashing CM 10.2, can´t transfer files via USB

Hi.
To keep it short, installed CyanogenMod 10.2 like 4 months ago (i'm not expert on this topic at all, just curious and daring). All this time i haven´t used the USB transfer for anything as i had enough music on my sd card when i flashed it and didn't have time to add more because i had too few spare time. Also if i needed a file i uploaded or downloaded it from Dropbox.
Lately i've been trying to transfer some new music via USB but my PC isn't recognizing the device. Installed Kies but that didn't work either. Tried to connect it to 3 more PC's and a Mac and none of them recognized it. Before that, with stock rom, didn't have any of those problems.
is there a way to solve this issue???
thanks

Can't transfer files to tablet from phone

So, I can't send or receive files on my Android tablet by wifi, no matter what app I use(tried es explorer, mi drop, shareit, just in case but no luck) that starts a hotspot and I connect from my phone but instantly says disconnected and fails. My phone transfer files normally with other devices and my tablet cannot transfer with any. But my tablet can receive and send through Bluetooth but is not convenient as it is very slow compared to wifi for bigger sizes files. My Android tablet is Google Nexus 7 2013 Wifi (flo) by Asus and has an unlocked bootloader and runs on custom rom Lineageos 14.1-20180712-NIGHTLY-flo (the most recent) and Android 7.1.2 and kernel version 3.4.0-lineageos-g90f7354. I'm not sure but it's possible it appeared after installing LineageOS. And in the older versions of LineageOS it was occuring. Also my phone is Mi Max 2 running on Android 7.1.1 NMF26F and on MIUI 10 Global 8.7.12 Beta(newest) but shouldn't matter as it can transfer files via WiFi normally with other Android devices. I do not know what's causing this but it is inconvenient for me so if anyone could help me solve this I would really appreciate it.
