How we can unlock the bootloader?

I can't find a solution for this.
I wanted to root this phone.
We pay for something that is never ours. The TCL brand is Alcatel, the support is terrible.
U can unlock with professional tool

I didn't. The person above mentioned a professional tool but I don't know which one.
I read the strings on the rom that I posted previously but I didn't find a way to unlock it without using a token

Nah he was banned for indirectly sending people to his site so he could sell stuff like that rom he mentioned.
Granted, if it indeed unlocked and rooted the device, I wouldn't mind paying the 12. But that doesn't seem to be the case

It looks like Asus has provided us with the unlock tool for the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. Hopefully someone can make a guide to help users unlock their bootloader. Does anyone think this has a chance of working on the special edition version?

EDIT: Yeah i was correct this is only 5.5 for now, just have to wait a bit for 5.7 once they do so. until then if we have any testers for 5.5 they should start it now and get this phone hype up, if it works.

Best way to do so, is word of mouth and contact there support. Then it will go from there.
We have the deluxe bootloader non special edition unlock tool out in the public for about a month and nobody who posts in XDA has said much about it yet. My fear is interest in this phone isn't so high so we'll never get a guide or solution to unlock the bootloader for the deluxe or special edition.
Has anyone with the deluxe tried using the unlock tool?

yes I flashed it via recovery mode, I haven't attempted the adb loader.
after further inspection to the zip file, DO NOT FLASH IT VIA RECOVERY. install it via the apk within the zip file. this unlocks the bootloader. as of now my zs550kl boot loader is unlocked and i will proceed with trying to get it rooted.

Alright that is very good news, keep us posted, sadly can't do much here for the 5.7 until then. As well post some screenshots as well.
I am a bit of a noob to the root scene. Last device I rooted was a galaxySII. I now have a zs550kl as I am trying to make my way back into the cutting-edge arena. I would like to see a root for this as my career has an imei lock on the data signal and I would like to spoof this with the imei of the varied bought device.

OP, I know you posted this in the find5 thread as you wanted them to port the rom from this phone but since it's for the a57 I assume this technically isn't the right place to do it, anyhow:
From what I can tell Oppo has restricted access to the bootloader on these phones and we still don't have a working root method. Until either one of these circumstances changes it is unlikely that any development can begin for these phones.
If any senior devs out there have skills in reverse engineering, I would be more than happy to donate to the cause or maybe even flash your betas because at this stage what I have is a well spec'd phone that's as useful as a brick thanks to Oppo's abhorrent ColorOS. I just want root or an unlocked bootloader.
I'm offering $25aus as a starting point and I'm sure others would get on board with me since we all spent the equivalent of $300aus for a P.O.S phone.

Can confirm rooting method works but it seems like it corrupts your NV partition. Make sure you've taken a backup of yours before proceeding. Check back as we nut out a solution.
I currently have my phone rooted and TWRP installed but the bootloader still needs to be unlocked or a tool similar to magictricks.zip needs to be made to enable/install fastboot binaries on this device.
Anyone here familiar with doing this?
I can provide you with backups of the file system.

From what I've read, there isn't a high likelihood of us getting fastboot. The main reason bootloader unlocking was possible with previous models was due to Oppo's release of 'project spectrum' firmware.
Our best approach is to make our voices heard on the Oppo forums and/or learn about reverse engineering bootloaders to create a solution.
I'm grateful that we have root (at a cost of signal), it's an excellent starting point at least. Have patience.

In most devices when you get the device rooted, you don't receive OTAs

I thought the TWRP version you linked is not working properly. Are you saying that it works, now?
That TWRP won't work on some models, I have flashed it on my xt1710-09 and it got stuck on the initial TWRP boot logo.

afaik, they're all rootable except the verizon variant...
hotspot...? if you mean, using your data network as a wifi hotspot - unless there's some kind of issue hosting a wifi network while rooted, this device does let you host.

If you buy the phone directly from Motorola/Lenovo, you can put a Verison SIM in and then you can also unlock the bootloader. Takes longer but if you really want to unlock it, this would be the only way I know.

Hello, I have unlock my Moto Z2 play successfully.
I installed TWRP 3.1.1.0 as specified. However, it gets stocked on the Teamwin blue screen and can't do anything from there than reboot.
Any idea how to solve this problem. Thanks a lot

Sorry guys, I'm thinking about buying this phone with a carrier, so I will have 30 months of warranty covering everything. If I unlock the bootloader and flash the recovery I will lose it. Which way? What error?... You must go to Motorola's unlock bootloader page (@pizza_pablo kindly shared the link for you already) and >precisely< follow instructions. You can also search for "unlock bootloader Motorola" here or in YouTube. There's aplenty of video tutorials, plus every single Moto device since Moto G requires the very same procedure, so you can follow any. Good luck and don't cry; you'll notice that unlocking is the easiest part.
One more thing: I strongly suggest you to research as much as you can about the subject >first< (it clearly looks like the first time for you) especially on Moto Z2 Play rooting and very especially on Oreo rooting. There's a bit of confusion there.

I am using Motorola Z2 play (Verizon) which I tried to unlock but Motorola website says this device can not be rooted.. I want to root my phone so that I can make image of internal memory and can scan deleted photos to recover them.
Please help me and guide me how I can do that. Please tell me steps by steps as i am not very much fimilar with rooting techniques.
Also guide me how to recover phone internal memeory deleted images and repair corrupted images taken by phone camera.

Yerah...Verizon phones are always locked down, unless you have a Pixel. That's precisely why I dropped them like a bad habit. Well, that AND the fact that they are the most expensive cell provider out there.

I'm sorry man, we simply can't, it's a security measurement from Huawei. Unless you use Funky Huawei which it might work but I never tried it since it's paid.

1. They want to make their devices not able to install official Android

Many of us, are in the same boat, no way to recover as of now, it seems that newer MTK devices do inaccessible the partition where’s IMEI is placed. If someone knows some solution, can share here.
If you had made a backup, you could restore it though, not totally sure if it can be re-written this way though.
There are other files called data apart the ofp file that can't be flashed using SP Flash tool, these are -I guess- for calibration, and could allow recovering them.

To recover the baseband you should flash any RM6785 ROM, for IMEI, no luck with it.
i am not sure but i feel with the SN tool, the IMEI could be written again if we have valid database MD1-DB and AP - DB file which is not available for MT6785. SN tool help write with dual sim But it requires Original IMEI number to write again.

finally found a database for mt6785 for SN tool. use Original IMEI.. i am not responsible for any activity. Do it with your own Risk. password= pacha123

Just flashing it, as any other ROM, I didn't see one in this forum, just search RM6785 for Realme 7 and flash it, It's not allowed to link here.
With this ROM you'll recover the baseband null issue, as per the IMEI, as I said, there’s not a known good method for now.

Thanks, but these files are available in the ROM for R7, SN Write tool needs DB and AP files, these files used to be found in other devices with MTK, anyway SN Write tool doesn't recognize properly the device, and the result is always "fail", it seems that this device needs something like a permissive kernel to pass, not completely sure though.

It is the same way that you would flash any other ROM, only that ROM starting with RMX2151 for some strange reason doesn't solve the baseband null, and if you put in Google ROMs for RM6785 you would find some, these ROMs -I guess - that cause are crossed development for all the Realme MT6785 just fix that issue, and to know the method to flash them you could refer to any thread regards any ROM for R7, if you have some time flashed a ROM, then it's the same stuff.
Apart that, only fixing the baseband issue anyone can do the next step that is trying to fix the IMEI error, before that, can't

But you could get device detected for any of these tools? If someone knows an easy method to send device to meta mode, it would be easier...

As I said you previously, can't link here, it's not allowed, the site, I know, it has this ROM is a kind of bait-click, and the last time my link was erased.
If you don't know how to flash a custom ROM, then this thread is not for it, you need to start from the basics, reading many more stuff. Just take a look on the threads for Realme 7, there are many that covers, how to unlock bootloader and how to root, if needed and how to flash a custom ROM/recovery, no one can't place here the lot of stuff that this implies. Don't worry, it is not out of the world, but you need to learn the basics from the specific forum. step-by-step.

The problem is after i lost my baseband whenever i try to boot to fastboot it just keep rebooting to back to system

Fastboot, are you sure?, this device is not easy to boot to fastboot, do you have a Realme 7?

Yes
Bootloader is unlocked
Usually when i use command in adb just reboot to fastboot normal and stay
But after this problem happened its not staying in fastboot at all
