NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine. First attempt and I ran into this error.
E1001: Failed to update system image.
Any ideas why ?
The abort is when flasing to system partition and I can't see a reason why it should fail.

Sorry for all the noise I've created. This experience does remind me that there are certain best practices recommended for a reason. In my case, it was a corrupt download and I should have validated the file checksums first. Sometimes being lazy has a price to pay.
I've successfully been able to flash the zip after redonwloading it.

Can senior member checkout this rom.
This rom is uploading GBs of data in background and when i check in data usage there is no record of that. Also no installed app ( chrome , photos playstore etc ) is using the data

Impressions are a personal thing. I hope my view match to yours. That said, from my usage so far, I have been quite impressed with the ROM overall. It is fluid and checks on all the items on my list. Coming from MIUI, there are some things I miss, like Dual Apps and Call Recording. But these are MIUI specific features. Other than that, this is a perfect ROM.
Many thanks to the maintainer @lopster70 who's done an awesome job on it and the project Project Elixir in general.
I just hope that this ROM does not get discontinued by the project or the device maintainer. I have high hopes that that wouldn't happen given `miatoll` is a combined device tree comprising of multiple devices.

for the record, I haven't noticed any such activity. I would refrain from generalizing with any such statement without first doing a thorough check.

I have version 1.1 , is it okay to dirty flash to 1.3? I don't have time right now to set up from scratch
Edit : Android 12 encrypts everything so fresh install after all
