Hello,
I flashed PixelExperience A12 today, but i can't get TWRP or OrangeFox to decrypt my storege so that i can flash zips correctly, is it bc they are made for A11? Is there a recovery or a procedure so that it can work on A12?
Thanks in advance!

It worked , thanks!
I tried first sideloading Magisk through PE in an already set up PE ROM, but it showed that the data was corrupt and after a factory reset the wifi just refused to work. Eventualy I did a clean install and sideloaded Magisk right after, and it seems to be working as of now!

Install redwolf recovery using fastboot and then from redwolf recovery install the miui zip file and lazy flasher. Make sure you format data and perform a clean wipe.

Hello,
Do I need an authorized beta account?

You guys will need an authorized beta account unless you want to flash the ROM via TWRP Recovery
So, I updated without an authorized account though TWRP. As soon as I tried to reboot to system, it brought me back to TWRP.
I suppose I had to disable encryption all over again so I formatted Data, installed the update again and started to move the required zip for Magisk and encryption disabling back in the internal memory. During the installation the system rebooted (I didn't ask to, the first time it didn't reboot til I asked) and something crashed on the first screen pf MIUI 10. Then it decided to reboot again to recovery... and the TWRP was gone, I have the MIUI stock recovery again. Anyway, I formatted the data once more and the system is running without problems now.
tldr: Updated, data was deleted, TWRP is gone, system seems good

I had the 3.2.3 and global 8.8.7, same as you. Maybe you formatted data before flashing? That's the only thing I can think of.
Anyway, an happy feedback: Gps is working after few hours, that's what pushed me to try this update

Hello,
but the global beta miui 10 8.8.7 and more old global beta miui 10 8.8.21 ?
Hi,
I've tried about 5 different roms on my redmi 5 plus during the past few weeks, And the only one that works for me well is the MIUI 10 global. So i did installed it from fresh :
1. I've flashed it via Miflash using original MIUI 10 Global img file (Clean all and lock)
2. I've unlocked the phone with Xiaomi unlock tool
3. I've used adb command to flash TWRP 3.2.3.0
4. I've flashed magisk 17.3 (I tried 18.0 few days ago and it wasn't recognised with the latest magisk manager 6.1.0)
I've noticed that when I want to make a backup via rebooting into TWRP recovery,It asks me for a password to decrypt some partiton on TWRP startup, So I can't creat a proper backup like I want to, Since some partitions are inaccessible to TWRP.
I thought that wiping data would help, But after I configure all the apps and try to backup via TWRP recovery, The same password/decrypt happens again.
I have no lock screen password (i don't use lockscreen at all).
is there a way to fix it so i can do a proper TWRP backup ?
Thank you

So, I recently flashed the xiaomi.eu's latest MIUI 10.1. My bootloader is unlocked and latest TWRP is installed. I googled around a bit, but can't really find any valid source for rooting. Would appreciate it if anyone would help me out.

Magisk is poular now. Magisk is far better. It doesnt modify system.
It is systemless root. It is best to pass security checks and working for banking apps.
Supersu modifies the system.

I flashed it then did a wipe and then reboot. Magisk said the boot image was modified. So, I'm assuming Unsu doesn't return the files to its original form. Anyways, installed Magisk and thanks for the info

I tried the latest twrp from the official website, but to no avail
Anyway, i installed PE+ with their official recovery, but now i can't flash magisk or any module
I'm wondering if it can be done (twrp or orange fox) without having to lose all my rom data, as i am alredy settled with my current ROM
Ps: when i tried i flashed at partition be, i have no clue as to why i didn't want to boot to recovery even tho the installer said it actually said it was flashed
Thanks in advance

Check the current partition and flash recovery in that partition

the latest official TWRP was released in June 2020. TWRP is not working for me as well after Mi update of Sept 2020.
Now if I install TWRP and boot into system via recovery, it takes me back to Fastboot. I was lucky to have a copy of Stock boot img. @Hugask
