You cannot remove that bottom Navigation bar, it is annoying but in some android phones they are provided with the option to remove the bottom bar. Hope we get an option in the next update!

For the bottom bar just install Nova launcher which is waaaaaay better than pixel launcher more editable and look like pixel launcher.
That's one of the reasons I switched to Nova Launcher as well. The other was time widget, which can't be removed.
I had only one concern If Now Playing will work with Nova Launcher, but it's working like a charm. I am done with Pixel launcher, maybe until they release Android 13 DP1.

Nova.
1. There are a few Magisk mods (search the forum) that can remove navbar, gesture pill, etc., that will also remove that blank space below the keyboard, if you are rooted. Non-root mod as well but that will end with the January update as Google has closed the fabricated overlay loophole.
2. Nova (seems a popular answer ), Lawnchair and Hyperion launchers. I believe the Pixel Tweaks mod by eg1122 can remove the Google search bar as well.

If looking to remove the gesture navigation hint, the Magisk module "Fullscreen/Immersive Gestures (Q-S)" by DanGLES3 is what I recommend people use. I use it myself and it works just fine. As for the launchers, to the best of my knowledge they can do this but it's not a systemwide change. That means that outside the launcher the gesture navigation hint may reappear.

Yes, that is one of the ones I was referring to and yes, it does work well. Tulsadiver, Typhus and StrangerWeather (may be deprecated after January update since it's non-root) are among the other ones which can do this.
As for the launchers, that was pertaining to removing the Google search bar on the home screen.

I was wondering if it's possible to change an app's name and icon in the bottom dock? I can't seem to find any apps for it, the only ones (anycut, bettercut, desktop visualizer etc) I can find are only able to create shortcuts on the homescreen, but I can't put those in the dock.
I know there's LauncherPro/AWD, but I would like to keep using Touchwiz 4.

You may consider trying out Bettercut or SuperShortcuts.
I have not tested those, but according to their features it looks to achieve what you are looking for.

Those apps create shortcuts on the homescreen, which you can't drag into the dock.

I don't want to use a launcher, but I would like to be able to to customise the icons and text. Something like what Desktop Visualiser does for home screen icons.
It should be possible since other launchers can do it, right? Or is TW a little bit too complicated?
I'm using Go Launcher Ex atm, it's pretty good but TouchWiz 4 feels faster and smoother.

Really?
My reading of the app description implies that one needs a launcher to make use of the dock customisation.
Correct me if I am wrong. If this is not the case then this may well be the answer. I am happy to pay for the app if it does the job; however I am reluctant to dive on in without confirmation that this is indeed the solution to the problem.
Can anyone confirm that Custom Launcher Icons can be used to edit the icon and text of a TW dock icon without the need for a launcher or root access?

This module replaces the Holo overflow menu icon (three squares) in apps with a rounded version (three circles), as seen in the latest Google Search and Play Store apps. The modification will work on any app which inherits the Holo theme (which is a large proportion of apps). Apps which have their own custom overflow menu icon will not be affected.
Requires Ice Cream Sandwich or above with the Xposed framework installed.
You can grab the module from its Xposed Module Repository page.

As I mentioned, it doesn't work for every app. Did you try a few different apps? It should work in Hangouts and the Play Store, for example.
Nice! This increases consistency across apps/nav bar.
Good stuff, really minor but still worth it

Work great for the most part. Issue I am having is in Google Music. If you got into a album or playlist the menu to shuffle is using white dots so you can't see the menu buttons. When I disable this mod the buttons are grey. So maybe this mod is not placing the correct colour buttons in? Of that is fixed I will use this mod again as I really like the look of it.
Great job.

I'm not sure how to replicate it, but sometimes, the overflow menu button will turn white when it needs to be gray. I think it happens after a rotation change or even returning to an app after using the recents menu.
This is a nice little module; really digging how it makes things more uniform with Google Now. I am getting the same bug as the others though, white on white in Play Music when you look at the currently playing song. Fortunately, you can still see the icon as the background is semi-transparent, so it doesn't bother me too much.
Very nice mod. Same bug here as mentioned above. Works with Chrome, but not Chrome beta?!
It seems when you leave an app using the recents menu and then return to it, the overflow menu icon is the wrong color.
It seems that in the latest version of Google Play Music (5.4.1409N), this bug no longer occurs and the overflow icon is the correct gray color.
Is it possible to simply replace certain files in framework-res.apk to achieve the same effect?
Very nice little tweak to help homogenize the UI. Just wanted to point out a few apps that I noticed aren't modded:
Stock Email (not Gmail)
Keep
Chrome Beta
In hangouts, if you tap an image, then press back, the menu dots become white and hard to see.
Thread cleaned of off topic and ETA Discussion.
Use of PM to get ETA stuff is fine usually -, and being snarky and self righteous in posts does nothing towards furthering development. So keep it out of the threads...
As you know, Google Photos started use bottom tab bar to switch pages, but many people hate that.
A simple xposed app to remove this bar and put them to drawer menu.
Tested on Google Photos v2.3.0.
If there's problem with next version of Google Photos, just temporarily disable it first.

Don't know why it doesn't work on your device, can you reboot your phone, and enter Photos once, then use adb or whatever tool is, grab log to me, maybe I can find something in your log.
Great module, thanks very much.
Working perfectly on my 6p.

Actually, I did swipe work with Google Photos v1.15 and v1.16,
but, unfortunately, it didn't work with v1.17, Google changed the construct about this part.
After that, it's not easy to let swipe work.

Any way to remove those little ugly clouds on every photo if we dont have cloud sync enabled?
The latest version of Google Photos has a issue with the latest version of the app. There's dividers between each item and they are pinned (like the Settings option in some Google apps) so the other options are scrolling in a small space beneath the added items

Hello,
and first of all, thank you for this module. I also don't like the iOS-ish bottom bar. I've got a request here, though. Could you please remove the dividers between individual items in the navigation drawer, as you did in Google Plus Bottom Bar Remover? It's only a little design issue, but I feel like the dividers don't look very well there - and since you removed them from the other app, it would be nice to get rid of them here as well.
Thank you.

Mostly yes. There are so many options in Nova. I honestly don't know all of them.
Nova. Nexus Live Wallpaper.
Ruthless launcher and Mation Icons
I hate shortcuts being permanently displayed on my home screen so I assign a gesture for Nova App Search, which generally allows me to find an app simply by typing the first letter of its name.
This also replaces the application grid, which I find inefficient.
Nova and Kustom
Keeping it simple using Nova7. Patiently waiting for more color options in the Monet palette.

On March 31, Asus released an update that allows you to hide the navigation bar. There's a new learning curve when navigating with gestures without the navigation bar, and after a month like that, I don't miss the navigation bar.
I am very happy.
