I just updated from the December update to Januarys update everything seems working for the most part but Google chat/ RCS messages have stopped functioning and in an endless loop of "trying to verify number" wasn't an issue on the November or December updates. I'm on Tmobile I have tried both the stable and beta versions of the apps, network reset, cache reset etc. I was curious if anyone else was having this issue.
I just updated and my RCS is doing fine. I had issues like yours when I first got my Pixel in November. I just turned off the chat features for a day or two, then waited until I got into town with better signal (and a different tower) and it connected. It could be that your nearby tower is having an issue...
update: had to revert back down to the November update because I began having other issues with my service havent gone back to the January update yet but it did fix the issue of my service. I began to suspect it was the Pixel itself when I moved my sim card over to my flip 3 and there were no issues with the service.
I can't keep my RCS connected when I have a VPN running. I turn it off and it immediately connects. Stupid.
Mine's working fine, updated last night, using Surf Shark VPN. That said I've had problems with RCS not connecting the past few months sporadically.

Thanks, yeah it could be my configuration. It's pretty stealth but I can back it down a notch.
edit: got it working by enabling split tunneling and putting carrier services in the exception list.

I've searched everywhere and have been working on this problem all night. I unlocked the Bootloader and Rooted the phone about a month ago and uninstalled bloatware. Haven't had any issues with the new Android marketplace updates or when it's updated apps on my phone. However, over the past 3 weeks, my 3G connection kept dropping off in the Marketplace and on different apps. It shows up as full bars but they're grayed out. They only turn blue when I connect via WiFi (At least I won't go over my data plan!) This sucks because I've been missing important e-mails because G-mail and other apps will only sync when I'm connected to wireless network.
I've cleared the Dalvik cache, went through and rolled back the Android Market place to the stock version. I also restored my APN settings but I'm at a complete loss since none of these things worked.
I haven't posted much because I'd prefer to read and search for the problem online but I'm coming up short here. Should I return it back to AT&T or is there something else I'm missing?
*EDIT: I also realized that I'm having issues with the Bluetooth connection, the GPS connection recently since the upgrade. Finally, I have not had the fingerprint scanner working since before I've rooted and unlocked the BL.
Whenever I ask "What is the weather?" or "What is the weather in X city?" I have continually been receiving the response of "No results, sorry." Every other action seems to work fine and I've tried on both wifi and 3g, but weather hasn't been working since last night. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this would be occurring? I've tried rebooting and have experienced the same results in multiple locations, even when connected to LTE.

Weather results stopped working last night (July 13) for me as well. All other functions appear to work, but "network error" messages appear about 30% of the time forcing a repeat of the query.

I should have tried this before, but I cleared the data on S-Voice, and weather results appear to be working again.
i thought i fixed mine by doing so too...but i think it may have been coincidental at least for me...last evening it stopped working went thorough reboots/factory restet and clearing data...to no luck.
came back at around 2am but down again all day today. and yup just came back again. no action on my side today.

Samsung has been doing network upgrades in advance of the Olympics, their TV systems were down yesterday, I'd bet it's all related.

it sure sounds like it. specially on timing for these two "outages"
Hello guys, I'm having a huge issue with my mobile network.
For the past two weeks I've not been able to make use of my mobile network correctly, it sometimes works, but most of the time doesn't. The icon in my status bar shows there is activity, it's fully connected to 3G or LTE, even with full bars. But all my apps like Telegram, Pokémon go, Messenger and the likes are stuck "reconnecting" to the network, as if my phone doesn't have any reception at all. At some points even SMS messages refuse to send, even though I've got full reception.
I've already gotten my SIM card switched out, attempted multiple clean flashes and the issue still persists.
Phone: Oneplus One
My current firmware: 0.1.c1.11-00006-M8974AAAAANAZM-1
Current ROM: idprophecy's unofficial optimized lineage-14.1-20180413-UNOFFICIAL-bacon
Current Recovery: Kutep0v TWRP 3.2.1-K2
Is there anything I can do? I'm getting really desperate.
This is my last plead on this forum, as I haven't had any response from anyone since april 25th, I've got nothing else to do but wait. Can't find anything on the internet about this issue, you're my last hope.
Have you tried flashing to stock version?

Not sure but some people are reporting they can't connect to WiFi on the February update so it's possible there could also be a connectivity problem as well.
The Pixel 6 February update is breaking Wi-Fi for some (Updated: Fix coming)
Google has rolled out the February 2022 update for the Pixel 6 series, but some users are reporting broken Wi-Fi connectivity.

wifi seems to be fine but most of the time im outside so mobile data is my go to atm. it drop from 5g to lte and them to E/no connection at all
My Wi-fi is broken. I have opened separated thread to try to find a solution. I don't recommend installing February update for now!
stating my experience: i couldn't get the udpate to install OTA or via sideload, so i flashed the factory image using google's online method with no ill side effects (smart lock, 4G/5G, wifi all working)
Update available. In setting tick check for update to get it.
Seems to fix Wi-Fi issue OK
I received Android 12 update for T-Mobile, Friday morning I believe. I've noticed a few bugs but nothing major. One is when creating folders for app icons and using the plus symbol in the folder trying to add more apps, it glitches and doesn't. Two I'd Bluetooth connection bug occasionally when you try to first sync your device. A restart corrected this, and one issue prior to the update and even after is the Smart Lock On-Body detection notification under settings not going away.

Yup, I got my OTA update this morning, too. I wasn't sure if we'd get it, being all too familiar with LG's updates (or lack thereof). I haven't had any issues yet but won't be surprised if there are a few niggles here or there.
This update had done nothing but brought pain to my phone
