Hello,
I have a H830tmobile, have had LineageOS for the past 7 months, but recently figured out I didnt have TWRP when trying to find a system file. While trying to install it, I got dumb and bricked my phone.
Thankfully I unbricked it that time, installed vannila ROM H83020i and downgraded to H83020a. I downgraded because it didnt let me use most fastboot commands and couldn't flash TWRP(flashing,booting,...), keep in mind it didn't let me on LineageOS too.
After that I rooted it using Hard Recovwery Method and flashed TWRP. Everything was going great until now, I found out that my phone doesnt show up on PC while in TWRP, would show up without problems in adb or fastboot. After continuing on through the guide, I formatted data, went back to boot into system and got a message that encryption was unsuccesful. Rebooted back into TWRP, searched for a fix and factory reset the phone, didn't help. I read that I should reformat only the System to ext4, did that and phone is without OS and boots endlessly. While trying to go into recovery mode through fastboot commands, it only sends me into endless boot and I can not get into TWRP and even if I could, I wouldn't be able to flash LineageOS as my phone just doesn't show up on PC.
Is this saveable or not?
ok booted into vanilla os again through uppercut, gonna try flashing lineageos only this time

Hello, so I wanted to root my phone. I went throught the process of unlocking my bootloader, after that the phone still booted up to the system.
Then I installed twrp, and at that point, the phone still booted up to the system. I believe my **** up happens on the next part, which is me putting supersu zip in the external sd of the phone, and then installing it through twrp, and now the phone wont go further than the Honor screen I can get to twrp and fastboot, I'm gonna try to install the stock recovery and stuff through abd now...

Follow steps given in this thread, it will work.
Next time back up your phone using TWRP.
Also you are probably stuck in bootloop as you installed version of supersu that is not compatible. Use superSU 2.62 and it should work.
Lets start off with telling you i am a newbie and was just following tutorials without really knowing what i was doing.
That said, i tried to install a custom ROM but got an error (7) in TWRP. Decided to reflash my old rom and update TWRP using the official TWRP app.
So i did that but when i wanted to boot into recovery it was stuck on the oneplus screen. I went into fastboot and typed fastboot oem unlock because i thought i could flash TWRP that way if the bootloader was unlocked.
When i tried to restart it gave me nothing but the oneplus screen, even the bootloader wont start. I shut it off completely and now it doesn't give me anything at all - just black.
Can someone help me out?
EDIT:
Issue resolved using THIS. Tyvm
I was new to this twrp stuff, so i wanted to change my custom rom to stock rom on my lg k20 plus (model - mp260) And I couldnt find a way online to flash it, so i tried wiping all my data via twrp and i wiped everything because I had no knowledge, after that i rebooted my system and It showed the android screen for about 30 minutes. Then, i tried to reboot into twrp via adb, drivers arent recognized, tried to reboot in phone, bootloader unlocked message is preventing me from doing that. Can someone help please???
Hi,
I know I must be doing something dumb, but I am unable to install any rom on my MI A3. I unlocked my bootloader and installed TWRP. I tried installing the havoc os rom on my phone and it wouldn't boot after that (kept going straight into fastboot). So I went back to TWRP and wiped my internal storage and tried installing it again but the same problem kept happening. Now I cannot install any rom ( I have tried Lineage OS and crDroid). I performed the following steps to install a rom:
1. Copy the zip file to internal storage from my laptop
2. Clicked on install
3. Chose the file I just transferred
4. Did the swipe to confirm flash thing
5. It does the flash process without any errors, but then says do you really want to reboot, there is no OS installed.
Even if I try to reboot, it goes straight to fastboot. Checking my internal storage through TWRP, I can see that my system folder is empty.
EDIT: I realised that I need to flash it twice because of the A/B partition thing. I tried doing that too. Now, TWRP no longer says that there is no OS installed and I can see that there are some files in system/. However, I still cannot boot into the OS. It goes straight to fastboot.
EDIT AGAIN: I am able to boot after flashing the stock fastboot rom. So at least I can use my phone for now. However, I would still like to use Havoc OS. Any help is appreciated.
I tried a couple more ROMs. Pixel experience also gets stuck at fastboot and Lineage OS gets stuck in a boot loop

My problem is that I can't install havoc os. I tried all the methods....
Same for me, first time I installed Pixel Experience like you did and worked well, then I tried again and I can't install no more custom ROMs, always getting error 1 in recovery, or not installing TWRP at all. I was able to boot phone again by fastbooting Stock Android 10 v11.0.11.0 April.
But I really enjoyed PE and I wanted to install it.
Hi, thanks in advance for any ideas to solve my problem.
I unlocked the bootloader of my HDX Thor and successfully installed TWRP. I then flashed lineage 14 which worked fine, then lineage 16 which also worked and which I wanted to keep. I also flashed pico GAAPS. Then I installed my needed apps (chart plotting stuff for sailing) and a Bluetooth GPS app (needed to get GPS mock signals from a PC). I ran everything to my liking, shut the device off and went to bed. Upon the next start I ended in TWRP recovery and I can't get out of it since. I tried to flash other roms but nothing boots into system. I alway arrive at TWRP. I searched the forums for help but the only solutions I found involved dd commands in terminal which I tried to no avail.
How can I get a working rom on my device again?
Thanks again.
I'm gonna bump this post, cause I've got the same issue.
I used the 1-Click from Draxie and it was great. I got Lineage 16 installed and set up, but the first time I turned it off, it came back to TWRP and I'm stuck there. Rebooting to "System" goes to TWRP. I tried reinstalling the image, and it still rebooted to TWRP. I ended up re-running 1-Click and it worked fine again...until reboot and I'm stuck in TWRP again.
Lineage 16, open gapps pico.
edit: so appears using the 1-Click script to install the image from ROM.zip solved the problem. I had forgot to rename before and just installed from TWRP after finishing 1-Click. Doing it as part of the script seems to have solved the issue.
