Hello,
Custumer came with 2 android boxes to repair.
He claims that both wont let install anything trougth the Playstore.
I have cleanned cache and data from Playstore and Google services.
I have tried develloper mode to try and update a new version of the Playstore without success....the one present is: 17.9.19-all
Tried diferent accounts on the device.
Made a factory reset trougth the hidden reset switch.
Tried this APK, and after installation it says it is not compatible with my device:

so ne apps install at all, checkd arm v7 version? you can try custom roms on them like mine maybe among other options, or look for its stock rom

Hello,
Custumer was calling multiple times per day, asking for the Vontar.
I returned them without repair.

Im not surewhere you can get the firmware but I had the same issue. Try booting to recovery and select wipe cache partition. That did the trick for me.

yes but it will cause some problem, like not working lcd display and proper remote function, must use air remote.

boycott s905x2 v311, this is supposed to be open source not lock down firmware, the x96 max is garbage firmware and when developers do great things with the board they lock it down so we cannot improve upon it, we i say f*%k them.

I would another alternative rom for my news android Box:
Vontar X3 Amlogic S905X3 Android 9.0 TV Box X3 4 go RAM 32 go
Why:
I can' t used VPn ( Nordvpn or Cybergosht)
If think rom don't allow Vpn; i used my accound in my other box android (X96mini) and no problem.
If someone have something for active vpn or alternative rom ( atvexperience no ready yet for this device)

Hi! I'm having the same exact problem. Same device and when connected to ethernet and trying to connect the VPN, the connection is terminated.
Have Transpeed A95X F3 Air. No ATV rom for this product.

Do you use ATV or standard android firmware or dualboot with coreelec?
I have my X2 Box (seems producer is the same) and software looks the same regarding to this video
And I am currently using astrill VPN and it is totally fine. But I have installed dualboot.
Do you use wired connection or wifi?

Vontar X3 is the same Rom as the H96 Max X3, Mk1 X3, Bqeel Y8 Max <-- so all these devices same ROM for the most part.......

Seems that's not that TV box I have mentioned above. Sorry for that. I have just checked aliexpress and get that Vontar started his own brand line with corresponding model name.

I have a x96 max plus , exactly same problem when it connects to vpn . you can try to pull out and then plug in the Ethernet cable with your vpn app running as a work around . Or you can use WiFi instead of Ethernet .

Hey Guys, i tried man's different Roms but couldnt get one to Boot. Most stay in bootloop but i have no Idea how to Solve that.
My Box hast lpddr3 3ram/32rom and qualcom chipset...hoped the posted in 4pda would work but also got bootloop:

A95X Max S905x2 Android 9 ATV firmware.
A95x F2 and A95x Max(S905x2) use same rsa and aes key for signed bootloader,dtb,boot.
I modded A95x Max bootloader to boot A95x F2 firmware Android 9 stock or ATV9.
A95x F2 (Ampac) firmware(stock(Android9) or custom rom ATV9) can be flashed(USB Burning Tool) to A95x Max(S905x2) without modded anything but system see only 2Gb Ram, bluetooth and lan not work, but wifi,vfd and all firmware work
very good.
A95x F2 (mediatek) firmware not work without modded bootloader.
But with modded bootloader work and system see 4gb ram and bluetooth work only Lan not work.
This firmware image (USB Burning Tool) is SlimBox version (sbx_a95x_f2_mediatek_atv_15_4_1) only changed bootloader.
Tested on A95X Max (S905x2) with:
Board ver. 2018-12-28 A95XMAXV_V81
WiFI (Mediatek MT7668RSN)
Lan RTL8211F
VFD HT1628
Working temp. 50-60C
Wi-Fi tested with 5G connection and speed is max of my network provider.(100M)
Not work:
1.Lan (RTL8211F)
2.SPDIF not tested.

I made a TEST, MY A95X MAX its AMPAC V10, My BT works with AMPC FILE but the issue it is the ram, can be a mod into ampac bootloader to see the 4GB?
I'm still trying my luck and hope a user will help me.
I keep trying to find Android 9.0 PIE for the Beelink A95X Max S905X2 Wifi AP6356S AP6356 V10 Board. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a working PIE version for this crappy box? Please be so kind and try to help me. Thank you and best regards.
