I use a tacx smart trainer that uses either a win10 or android app. I have a mini PC (T11) that runs win10 but the software is below min spec and is slow, so I have tried to do an android install on the t11 and have struggled due to Bluetooth issues. I have however found the latest r02 of x86 works - well at least on live USB - start Bluetooth, run the app and it finds the trainer straight away and away I go. But there is no persistent memory and so I have to install and when I do, the app finds the trainer but will not connect.
Any ideas on how to resolve?

Hi all
I bought recently one of those cheap Mini Android PC (the MK808B) and I am trying to setup an easy/cheap NAS with it so I can see my videos from other devices. This would let me turn off my big energy-sucker desktop PC and leave that light small device doing its job. By the way... I am using the MK808B, but the idea is that any rooted Android device would do it.
Until now the progress is big and I can say it almost works... but that "almost" is why I am here, asking for help.
This is what I have done until now:
In the MK808B I have installed:
- Paragon NTFS&HFS+ (so I can mount any NTFS device, in my case a 32GB FTFS flash drive but this would support any big hard drive) (needs root)
- Droid NAS (a free app that does in theory what NAS do, in theory only accessible from Macs and Android devices although that would still be OK since I want to access to those videos from our phones and tablet)
So, once all this is setup and running, I go to any of my Android devices and try to access. To do so, I installed:
- ES File Explorer (to access my MK808B via my WiFi connection)
- MX Player (to play the videos)
And here is the problem: I manage to access my MK808B, I can get into the mounted flash drive... but when I try to play any of the videos, whatever the format, MX Player gives me this error:
"Video problem"
"Can't play this video"
If I click on an image it opens it, if I try to copy files I can... is just playing videos that doesn't work. Could be accessing them through my WiFi connection the problem? Maybe the MK808B is not reliable enough, WiFi speaking? Should I get one of those USB-LAN thingy?
If you could help me I would appreciate it. And also, I think getting a setup like this working would be very useful for a lot of people, who could access their files from any device while at home
Thanks!
I use BubbleUpNp from the play store across all of my devices.
HTC One X, Google Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 and an MK809 plugged in the back of the TV. I do have a OTG-Lan plugged into a hub, with 1TB hard drive all plugged into the MK809. I have Finless 1.7 Rom on the TV Stick.
Seems to work well, allowing me to say use my tab to render a movie from my MK809 library (1TB Hard Drive).
Other recommendations for you are Droidmote. Droidmote server on your TV Stick and Droidmote client on your phone, acts as a remote.
XBMC android installed on your TV stick.

Was thinking about the same thing. How to create a cheap NAS with an android device as the core of the system. But i was thinking about a RAID1 NAS. ANy suggestions?
Hi Everyone,
I was just trying the different apps for Screen Sharing from the Tab (SM-P601, Android 4.3) to a Windows Laptop/Desktop.
I came across 2 apps:
1. MirrorOp Sender for Galaxy
However, this needs to Install receiver device (additional Receiver software) on the computer, which is not always possible, when i am in someone else's office on a desktop locked with Admin password.
2. Screen Stream Mirroring trial
This app enables to broadcast to 'Google chrome' or 'VLC Player' or even on 'YouTube'. On VLC Player, it can even be recorded. But at the present moment, on Android 4.3, it gives me error on 'Hardware Rendering Format'. As a result, the broadcast is very slow and laggy.
However, both these apps require that the Tablet and the Computer be connected to the same WiFi Network.
Does anyone has any better options/ideas ?? A better App ??
Try shou
Side Sync 3.0
Is there any reason your not using this ? I mirror my Note 10.1 and Note 4 to my Windows 8 laptop this way just fine.
Did you ever get this to work? I have not been successful with my note and HP laptop. Do you have any notes about your setup? Versions of the client and server?
thanks
Try teamviewer, download teamviewer on pc and quicksupport teamviewer at play store, then just connect, or alternate use mobizen. Both tested and working.
Goodluck...

What will I need to use to use my Windows 10 Laptop with a USB GPS Dongle as a Navigation System for Waze or Google Maps? I don't want to SIMULATE my GPS, I need my real GPS coordinates to be replicated into my Android Apps in constant real tme.
Are there any Android Emulators out there that can use my REAL CURRENT GPS location from my USB GPS Dongle on my Windows 10 Laptop? If not, would I be able to obtain this by installing Virtual Box and Android in a Virtual Box?

Anyone happen to know? I am basically attempting to build a Windows 10 CarPC with Android side loaded as a VM so I can still use Google Maps and Waze.
I got latest Genymotion for personal use up and running and emulate a Nexus 9 on Android 7. Works like a charm.
I now want to connect my Line6 Spider V 240HC guitar amplifier to the Android app.
So I dragged the latest APK-file of the Spider-Remote app into the emulator and successfully installed the file.
Spider-Remote is now working and I successfully logged into my account; I can change and save presets to my cloud.
The last step that isn't working, is unfortunately the most important one: I want to control the amp itself with the app, which worked great over my phone.
The emulator just won't recognize the plugged in hardware.
I read about a solution for another OTG device, which is outdated. I don't even see a mentioning of my AMP in the VirtualBox settings. http://scrumsofanarchy.com/interfacing-physical-otg-devices-to-genymotion-android-vm/
Please let my dreams come true and show Line6 the finger for dropping the desktop App with the new Spider line up.
Thanks!
This service is driving me crazy they have an offline viewing thing, but it won't let me output to a Fire stick or a basic HDMI, and there is no windows app This is a solution I have been considering to just install Android x86 on my laptop, but I just wonder if it would work, can someone verify this?
It seems not
Nope
