For some reason my phone does not give me the option of choosing which network mode to use. Wondering if this is because I have removed some of the Chinese apps. Would anyone be able to show me where this option resides in the menus? Thank you.
Yes me too i am trying to activate volte and Real vowifi. I have installed système ui tuner but non option available. I Can eliminate thé warning high sound message but no more for instance
I have tried resetting my phone and still have no way of selecting LTE/NR/GSM on my handset. Is anyone else in the same boat?

If you have a look on the Network Profiles (Settings / Mobile Networks / Select one SIM card / Access Point Name / Press the i icon on the corresponding APN / Network (below) there is a list of network connection types : LTE, EDGE, ...
However deselecting LTE does not seem to help.
If you wish to disable 5G, you may go to Battery Settings then "Optimisations" where you'll be able to "Disable 5G".
Thank you for responding. I get the same settings, but they don't let me pick 5g. The only way I have managed it is using the android engineering menu that various apps can open.

Hi,
I want to know how to disable GSM on P500 since I have no data plan. It drains my battery (about 50-60% everyday)
OR
Is there a way to keep GSM to use MMS only ? (I have unlimited MMS on my plan, but no data plan)
In parameters, I've try to uncheck "Données activées" (Must be something like "Data enabled" in english) but it still drains 50% of my battery at the end of the day.
Sorry for my english.
Thanks.
edit: hum...sorry, I think I have to look to disable 3G and not GSM...
Ok, answer to myself...APNDroid seems to do it...BUT if it disables 3G, does it mean that it can have an effect on my coverage for calls ?
BTW, my provider is Telus, can I just change APN to only allow MMS and block all other attempts to use data ? I tried it but when I add a APN, I can't select it.
Thanks
If I'm not wrong,pulling down your status bar and pressing the 4th button will disable 3g usage. This shows that it is disabled.

Thanks AsherChua,
You answered my first question, thanks for that.
I also tried to create a new APN to use only MMS, so i think (but could be wrong) it will never use data for internet usage and only MMS will work. The problem is: if I create a new APN and set the "APN Type" to "mms", the new APN will not have the toggle button to select it. If I enter anything else like "mms " (with a space), I'll be able to select it.
Anyone knows how to resolve this problem ? thanks.
Has anyone got Samsung dive to work for the new S3?
I have set up the account etc but when I use the website to track my phone or call it etc nothing happens.
I am on the O2 network in London. Any help would be much appreciated.
I set mine up yesterday and it setup fine and all, but when I went to track it...it did indeed track the phone, but it said my phone as at my home address when I was sitting in McDonald's. So...not sure why it did that but that is far from accurate!!
Calling and locating it worked from me with the original firmware. After installing Omega I tried again and it still works.
I cant get it working. I go through the motions as per below:

}
...but remote controls stays "off".
Anyone who has managed to get this set up, at what point does that setting for on/off at the top become available please?

Probably silly question but have you slid the toggle to "ON" - I had that first time as well. Every time you slide the toggle over you have to re-enter your password again.
your 3G enable ?
I eventually got it to slide after various combinations of removing and re-adding the samsung account and ticking / unticking the location tick box

Is there any way to modify which apps show up in this list? So many I will never ever use just clogging up the Share list requiring me to scroll down to find Imgur for example, which I use most. I need a way to do this without rooting if possible, appreciate any help!!
Usually on the lists at the bottom there is a "use this by default" checkbox though this option may not always show....but I can't help you with how to modify it at a system level

Yup, but I was referring to the list of apps that show up in Share menu, it's usually any app the system identifies can make use of the protocol (file extension, URL, etc.). Just trying to shorten it to apps I regularly use instead of the huge list, hoping this is possible!

Just uninstall or disable the apps you don't use.
I want to do the thermal mod but when I type the code it only shows a minimal amount of options (not every single option) is there app or mod that will give me the full menu?

yeah but like what would I search (thanks for the suggestion)
Try searching for the text you're supposed to change.
BUT, rather than completely turning off thermal throttling, I would recommend this approach:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/development/thermal-mod-t2907363
No chance you'll melt down your G3 this way.

Use shortcut master lite that should work fine.
Ok, but is there a way to get the full menu? Like I want to have access to the full menu like every single option not just the ones for the termal mod.
Or can someone post screen shots so I do know what to search for
Curious also I need to see it also to turn off otas
This guide will show you how to enable VoWIFI/VoLTE on Xperia 5 IV(it should work on 1 IV) phones without rooting /unlocking bootloader.
Tested on XQ-CQ62 (US model ) , Tmobile mvno (ultra mobile).
Currently it works even after restart for me but apparently after each restart it should stop working and you would have to redo the process.
Thanks to devs of pixel volte patch(github) and shizuku app devs.
Requirements:
Developer settings enabled
Shizuku app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=moe.shizuku.privileged.api
Pixel IMS apk https://github.com/kyujin-cho/pixel.../download/1.2.3/dev.bluehouse.enablevolte.apk
Process
Open shizuku app
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Turn on and open Wireless debugging by pressing on the name.(its not just a toggle)
Open pixel ims (it will ask you to grant shizuku permission )
And after that press on the icon in the lower right corner (name of your carrier).
After that you should be able to see this in settings
Choose your own wifi calling preference.
Last screenshot is just showcase
Thanks. Working on my Xperia 10 IV - SEA firmware on Vodafone NZ
Thanks so much for this. I've been going round and round with Verizon and Sony, each pointing their finger at the other one. Very frustrating. Then I found this and it works great, and is maintained across restarts. Thanks to all!
