Guy's, i need persist from 2101. Give me please. I have broken fingerprint, camera work perfectly. Try flash persist from 2103, EVERYTHING work excluding fingerprint. I think i can fix that, but i need persist from DN2101. Help please...
I have the same problem, OP does not want to provide the rom 100%. They offered me instead to send the phone in after-sales service.
persist img is uniqe if not backed-up you're screwed. you cant use someone elses persist back-up.
try contact OP aftersales in most cases when unlocked bootloader you still have warranty at oneplus

Maybe we can re-calibrate fingerprint scanner via RL-071?
The engineer code not available on nord 2. I search how to enable it, no engineermode_config in vendor

I bought the calibrator, on the other hand it would be possible to have the persist partition of another to have a test base? Mine is empty.

What is the difference between persist partition and persist image (emmc)? is one a backup or is it complementary? (they have the same files)

Man, i don't know, but persist flash via command "fastboot flash persist persist_image.emmc.win". Or persist.img, of you want rename it.
when you backup you can clearly distinguish between persist.img(sda16) and persist_image.emmc.win. I find that strange. Both have basically the same content, different weights, with a slightly different structure.

I dont think, that it works with the persist from another phone but if you want to try: (better make a backup of your own broken persist before flashing)

Did you try to downgrade from Android 10 to 9, or how did it happen?
Do NOT flash persist.img, it contains DRM keys which will be lost forever if you flash another persist.img. Persist also contains calibration data of all phone sensors, which will get deleted as well (some can be probably restored with special procedure, but it's just unnecessary complication).
Hello everyone, I have recently flashed new custom ROM on my device - Realme 7 rmx 2151 and everything went as planned. I used unlocking and flashing guide new from XDA webpage... Unfortunately this is a very problematic device, if you didn't make a backup before... the ofp file doesn't contain one, so you need that someone else take a backup of persist partition from a good/working phone and upload the file for you, then you can flash it back using fastboot.

Other people had this exact issue. It's the device firmware that you were on before flashing that is detrimental. Are you RMX2155 or RMX2151?

So I think, the best would be to purchase a new one as soon as possible , never mind, thats fine, I should have thought twice before I did something ... Its REALME RMX 2151 , but on the BACK of the phone its written model RMX 2155

No, it must be from the same model, it is a very sensitive partition, used from other different device/model could brick your device.
I backed up one from my device while it was in bricked state, if this functionality weren't broken at this time then it would work for you, if you want to give it a try I'll upload it soon.

You don't need to uy a new one. You just need to reflash the correct firmware, and then reflash the ROM you're trying to use after that.

If the firmware is not cased sensitive, then it shouldn't.
But to be completely sure backup first your persist partition, also you can back up the others aswell
Reboot to your custom recovery and type the next one by one:
adb shell
dd if=/dev/block//by-name/persist of=/sdcard/persist.img
After that, you'll have your persist image in the main directory of your sdcard (internal memory)
After that you can copy/transfer it directly to your PC (don't forget to keep it in a safe place, not in your device)
Or you can pull it with:
Exit first from the shell (just one time, in case you are not rooted) with:
exit
adb pull /sdcard/persist.img
This will copy (really pull/move) the file to the same directory where you ran the command.
You can flash it using fastboot.

You just need to flash a.87 back onto your device. Did you need to follow an elaborate guide to unlock your phone's bootloader, or did you just submit an application via the DeepTest APK? I need to know this in order to link you the correct files to flash.
Hello, After a failed update from .11 to .12 (stock), the phone did not start anymore, I did a mtk repair, the phone works perfectly except for the fingerprint reader (infinite vibration). I think this is due to a corruption of the "persist" partition, but I cannot find a solution to fix it on the Nord 2. Thanks in advance.
The Persist partition contains the unique calibration settings for the sensors on your phone. It cannot be recovered. If it's really corrupted, the only way is to send the phone back for warranty.
What do you mean by "mtk repair"?

You need to find a backup of your OWN device's persist image. If you took a TWRP backup of your phone (which you hopefully did) it will be called "persist_image.emmc.win". You should also notice that your camera won't work either.
You can use fastboot to flash it back with the command "fastboot flash persist persist_image.emmc.win"
As Raygen mentioned, if you do not have a backup of the persist partition from your own device, you need to RMA your phone.
I haven't backup, my camera work but no fingerprint :/
I wait onePlus support so, thanks a lot for help and answers

Don't worry! Everything's gonna be alright ;) You may accidentally erase all partitions and GPT on your phone. Nothing is shown in "Partition Manager". Since there's no Rawprogram XML file we need an alternative method to get the phone back on...

You'll need your original LUNS 5 backup most definitely for it work.
seccfg, nvcfg, nvdata, nvram, persist, proinfo, protect1, protect2.
super partition: my_*, odm, product, system, vendor.
I need all these partitions please let me know anyone could help me or not as my imei is not working because i foolishly erased the paritions and flashed the stock image
without realizing i needed to make a backup first so if possible someone please give me their partition backup .
I dont care about the fingerprint as far as the mobile can make calls and would be in a functioning condition .
1 guy here in our forums even flashed the persist image and fixed his camera so i believe flashing the appropriate partitions would help me get my phone to a working condition
and do not ask me to go to svc as i already did that and they were of no help and asked me for a motherboard change and they flashed the phone but the imei problem and the
fingerprint problem was not solved at all so i dont trust these guys at all . As the SVC usually always wants to shell out money from our pockets .
