Hi, i was found a Huawei P40 lite in recycle trash with broken screen.
I've replaced the screen (only 30€ on aliexpress !), the phone running, but there was a problem with Huawei ID from old owner of this phone, after factory reset, android was asked the password of Huaweï ID and don't let me using it.
After many Hours of research and tests, readed lot of things for unlocking bootloader with sigmakey (~260€) and services from people with Flexihub (people offer on the web to unlock bootloader/recovery/root huaweï devices for less than 10$ with Flexihub usb access to the phone and testpoint activated + fastboot mode), i've found a FREE solution.
Your only need to copy files on a storage media (external SSD was fine for me formated in FAT) to USB C of the phone, reboot in Recovery mode from Huawei (VOL+ and POWER buttton together after shutdown !) and downgrade it with somes moddeds files.
First you have to download this archive ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1biGosoYW0HoQLDytUoguPvp_EOwb7FkH/view ) then copy the dload folder to the root of the storage media.
All is explained on this video :

Excuse me, I got a problem.
First of all, when i was trying to flash the qualcomm bootloader, i got this error "Loading hashblock failed with ‘Messenger encountered error ‘Referencia a objeto no establecida como instancia de un objeto.’’". And the process stucked at 50%.
But, It seems to have qualcomm bootloader already, cuz when i plug in the phone, windows asks to format my device and it pops up Qualcomm driver.

Before pluging in, i got sda,sda1,sda2
After pluging in, i got this pop-up windows

So, is there anything i can do now?
before plugging phone in with linux booted have turned phone off.. wait 5 seconds ... hold volume up and press power --- wait for short buzzz --- now plug usb lead into phone.....
now open DISK UTILITY
it looks like this...
now see how it goes
....".from your picture it looks like you havent pressed vol up while turning device on, thats the only way i could replicate your result anyway...."
(thanx to vova1609 for pic link)

Hi everyone, I just got a new XZ1 today (purchased from recommended Sony retailer as new), but I noticed some unknown files in the downloads folder I'm worried about, has anybody else noticed these or know what they are?
File list:
rce_plugin_string_resource_pt_BR.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_fr_FR.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_de_DE.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_en_US.test.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_it_IT.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_es_ES.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_cz_CZ.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_ja_JP.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_v2_TYPO_TEST.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_zh_CN.json.min
rce_plugin_string_resource_nl_NL.json.min
CS_JIT_Animation.mp4

Opening one of the files in VSCode, this is what the file looks like:

I'm worried about "rce" since that seems eerily close to remote code execution.
Any advice very much appreciated.
I just found the exact same files in the download directory of an old Verizon Ellipsis tablet I just reset and renewed a few days ago. It is running 5.1.1 Lollipop
Did you find any info on this? Thx!
Bump! Found this on a phone that was purchased/reset a few days ago. BB Key2 on android 8.1.0
Files only show up when i insert a USB drive and open the file copy android native UI. Does not show up on ghostcommander unless i move the files to a new directory (but then stupid android UI deletes and recreates the file, losing all original metadata such as permission, owner etc... and the useless android UI where i can see/copy the files, do not show permission/owner)
Hello. I own a Xiaomi Redmi 7A. Since the very beginning I have issues transfering files to PC.
First of all, the device barely loads on Windows 10. Whenever I try to move files or even simply open folders, it freezes. Never had this problem before with any Android device, either from Samsung or LG. Or whatever other brand (not even those cheap Chinese freaks).
But whenever I connect my 7A to PC, I have to quickly try to move files before 30 seconds or so. After that, it totally freezes. Or files don't respond. Or explorer.exe doesn't respond.
I have tried reinstalling drivers, activating debugging mode and tons of other things I could find on internet, having NO success at all. Tried with my mom's laptop (Windows 7) and I was surprised I got the exact same problem. So, I came to this forum, cause I believe you guys are the only one who can save me.
I didn't want to get a new phone, because I got this one only 4 months ago, so... But seems like I'm going to have to get a new one asap.
Examples of the dozens of problems I've been experience:

}
(Failure moving File or Folder - Catastrophic failure)
(Hanging forever/files don't show)
Eternal copying (that can't be cancelled and still freezes)
Some more different errors (googled it and no success finding a decent fix)
Seems to be a mass storage bug with either the device or Windows
Hello everyone, a week ago I received my Mi 11 Lite 5G and the first thing I did was unlock the bootloader. Today I managed to unlock it and tried to install a custom ROM (xiaomi.eu). However, I had a problem that made the operation impossible. I forgot to activate the option "install via USB" thinking that this one was not important, obviously I underestimated it. My question is: do you have any solution to reinstall the basic ROM (there isn't system currently), or activate this option other than in the phone (in fastboot with adb for example...), regardless of the method, I hope there is at least one.
Awaiting a positive response (I hope), greetings and I wish you all a merry Christmas.
This option doesn't really matter, if your bootloader is unlocked (as in there is a undone lock icon every boot above the Mi logo) just go into fastboot by shutting the phone off forcefully, then holding down Power + Volume Down until you see the Fastboot Screen as shown below

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then after that, check device manager in Windows to see if your device is being seen as "Android Bootloader Interface", if it is. Then you're good to go! Download the latest Xiaomi.eu ROM for Renoir then unzip it, then run the batch script for your case. You will lose all of the data on your phone's internal storage when installing though. So beware and be sure to make backups!
