Just now i installed LCD density changer and i have set it to 190.
Is the 190 setting safe and the main thing , is this software safe and future proof that it wont effect my hardware in future.
Thanks.
I'm quite sure you have nothing to be worried about.

you have to worry about your eyes though
190 is to much for me, but loving 220
LCD Density works on software level, not hardware level. The hardware display frame buffer is still 480x854, but when you change the lcd density, the software frame buffer is resized accordingly.
If you decrease the LCD density properties (dunno why increasing the value make things bigger), the SW frame buffer resolution will be increased in width and height, then after the OS finished with the rendering of SW frame buffer, this frame buffer will be resized to match the HW frame buffer, then the content will be copied.
So its safe, but increasing too much will make the phone slower because of bigger SW frame buffer, but of course you can see more text because the text is smaller.
Anyone care to post screenshots with 220 density?
Everything looks OK?
sry,
for making a new thread bt please if anyone can help me... i can't find overclocking option in cwm settings/performance i hade undervolt option bt.. not overclock.... i just had these option
im using latest minicm2.1.9 with nAa-11
Change the max cpu frequency and min frequncy value..(its shown in the screenshot) If u increase the value you overclock it..

You can change the values right in the settings themselves or you can get an app for it. Like setCPU or Antutu CPUMaster!
maybe you think about a "overclock option" or something implemented in cm settings. Remember that overclock means increase the speed of the processor, so, if you set the speed over 600 mhz, you are overclocking your device . Setting speeds lower than some values are also called underclock . Hope it helps
STEP 1 : install resolution changer pro on any h2os rom from play store (kinmaricans i preffer).
STEP 2 : First do not enable it just put height = 1440 and width = 2560 and then density to 538.
STEP 3 : ENABLE IT. ENJOY
Can't it be in oxygen or any other cm based custom rom
You can't change your phone's screen resolution ahahaha that depends on the hardware. That app is just changing your DPI to change the size of UI elements.
If you could change your phone screen resolution with a simple app, why would any OEM make phones with 4k screens?
The OP2 was, is, and will always remain 1920x1080. You can always change the DPI to get smaller icons or whatever (I prefer 380, stock is 480). More the DPI, bigger your UI elements.

That is just absolute nonsense, sorry to say that. You just make the device believe to have a 2k display, which means the GPU will have to push even more "virtual" pixels, while everything is just "downscaled". You won't get any benefits from that, in contrary you will just introduce more cluster****, by letting it run on a virtual resolution instead of it's native.
There's a reason why people with 2K phones set the virtual resolution down to 1080p, so that the GPU doesn't have to work as hard.
How this differ from changing dpi, it comes to my mind that oos doesn't like changing dp

OP, you may want to alter your thread title in the advanced edit menu to something more accurate. You will see what I mean if you read the comments here.

I have this problem, too.
Is there any way to change refresh rate?
I keep reading that the GT 2 Pro, like other Realme phones, are stuck in 60fps gaming despite it being having a display with 120hz. Is there a mod that allows this? Has anyone gotten success on doing 120hz gaming?
Of course

How did you enable it? Aren't games capped at 60FPS in Realme UI?
I have tried with Wild Rift (LOL) and it's capped at 60FPS

there is an app called "setedit" in google play store, with it you can enable some apps to run on 120fps but as i said it doesnt enable 120fps in all games, all u have to do is find "peak_refresh_rate" click it, click edit value and then set it to 1
In RMX3301_11.C.16 version they added custom app refresh rate, so when you select high refresh rate instead of Auto select you'll see an option to change refresh rate per app and you can change your games to use 60, 90 or 120 hz, worked for me in Minecraft.
World of Tanks set to 120 Hz and the application runs at 60 Hz.
Spoiler: Screenshot
Edit:
I was able to set it to 120Hz.
I changed the default 120 Hz to 60 Hz, confirmed then put 90 Hz, confirmed the change and finally 120 Hz and confirmed the change. I launch the app and it runs at 120 Hz.
