Hi, I have to use a usb - virtual com port adapter on Android 8. Is ftdi native supported? If not is there a usb adapter supported on Android in order to have a ttyUSB* device or something similar?
If not can you suggest me a supported vendor to bring up a custom usb device?

Hi,
I would like to connect two android devices via USB cable so I can "remotely" control one device from the other.
To be more specific I would like to connect my phone and tablet via USB cable and have remote display from my phone on the tablet.
There will be no wireless connection between those devices it must be via cable only.
Has anybody tried that? Any suggestions how to make this setup?
Thank you in advance.
Bump - Maybe this is possible now?

I am using Linux on my Android by Chroot for many specific things.
I know that DriveDroid allows you to use your Android as USB Flash storage, i would like to use this to turn my phone into a portable usb drive with linux, how is that possible?
Thanks a lot in advance!
