Is there any chance to get my good old Samsung Galaxy S8 Theme on a Google pixel phone with Android12?
Really, i HATE this new material onegui stuff.
My phone looks like a phone for kids and i don´t really like it anymore since Android 12.
I bought a very nice theme from the galaxy store. It´s still applied on my good old S8 which has a broken display.
Is there a Third party launcher which can apply Samsung Store themes?
When this is not possible:
Can the newest Samsung Phones like the S22 apply old themes from S8?
And do you know any good launcher which looks like the Samsung galaxy launcher?
I search for a Launcher which looks like samsung but which is secure. I´m ready to pay for the launcher, when it is good.
I like to work with folders and multiple screens.

So harsh. You bought a Pixel phone to apply a Samsung theme on it? Maybe you should adapt your expectation pattern. There are so many ways to customise your device though...

Hello everyone,
I did a little research before opening new thread,but I couldn't find anything simiral to my question.
So,my question now!I am planning to buy an Android Device.And yes like most of the people I am in a dilemma.Now before you hasten to answer my question let me explain this : I am not looking for an answer according to hardware specs or any kind of benchmarks.What I am looking for is the following :
I really like the stock look of the ICS(yes the one that Galaxy Nexus has).So I was wondering if there is anyway to get rid of the Touchwiz from Galaxy SGSIII.After a small Google research that I did it seems that a user is not able to get rid of Touchwiz unless it replace it with another Launcher like the Launcher Pro.So what I found out that the only way to do this is to flash the phone with a custom rom,which will not contain any OEM launchers or any other third party launchers.To make this clear once and for all I am not lloking any kind of launcher that will make SGS III look like Galaxy Nexus's stock launcher,I am looking only for the stock launcher only.
So I was wondering if there is any custom rom to get rid of touchwiz and leave all the other goodies that Samsung has included like the Smart-Stay(the one that tracks your eyes in order to keep the screen on),All share,etc,... in SGS III or the only way is to buy the Nexus?
If you buy the SIII you can simply install Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher (Both available in the Play Store).
Both those launchers look exactly like the one found on the Galaxy Nexus, just with more options for customization.
Installing the launcher will hide the Touchwiz Launcher, but leave other parts of Touchwiz/Samsung software intact (Such as the smart-stay feature, S Voice, etc.).
Okay I have two questions.First,is it possible with these two launchers to have the three buttons(back button,home button and the multitask button) like the Nexus has?(Yes I know that the SGS III has the same three dedicated buttons,but I really love those three Nexus buttons)Second,are this launchers consume too much Ram or they will work without lags like touchwiz?

and... unless you are a higher ranked, people most likely avoid you.
the s3 is sexy, big and yes i had hands on. Gnex is also sexy and yes i had hands on. The s3 is a little more advance so it gets a plus, but the galaxy nexus would be my choice because i look in the long run. Gnex gets updates first and its google's flagship phone as iphone is to apple.
Gnexs are coming next week preloaded with jelly bean while some people dont have ics yet. If you are like some people who can afford to buy a new phone every month then get the s3, but if you plan to go the two years get gnex
So the S2 is out of the question? The S2 probably has more custom rom than both put together (or it would at lease be close )

Please, can anyone tell me if it is possible to change to look of my S5 device, to look like an S4 on KitKat?
My first Andorid phone was the Galaxy S3 because I was in love with TouchWiz. I dislike the way stock Android looks.
I was not a Samsung fan, previously I had a Samsung Omnia because I liked the design and being a Microsoft fan, I bought it, but never liked TouchWiz there... I imediately disabled it and left the default Windows Mobile look. When Microsoft went to Windows Phone 7 and so, I've cosidered going to Andorid. I don't like Apple because all icons follows the same square rounded pattern. I like the icons to be different like on Microsoft Windows, so not all icons to be in a circle or square, or other geometric form.
When I bought the S5 I was a little dissapointed because the TouchWiz was changing into bad lookings but with Lollipop... awwwww!
I dislike the new Contacts App with those small circles for pictures... Sincerelly I love my wife S4 i9506. I've decided not to upgrade her to Lollipop, to make her phone uglly like mine.
So, is there a possiblility to run a version of Lollipop or KitKat on S5 while having a look of an S4? Even if the menu and home keys will behave like they normaly do on S5.

The lollipop update really is great same for the layout at beautiful s4 was ugly and made me theme it multiple times

Are you more familiar or wanted to have Apple products? I dislike Lollopop becuase black used to look better on amoled displays. Other things that I'm not likeing on Lollipop are those bright colors, the white baground when opening calls, having no button delimiters on phonedialer and the most anyoing one for me... the Contacts app which have those small circled pictures. Oh... let's say being clircles, let's say ok, even if I still don't like the ideea, but they are too small on Samsung firmware. They are a little bigger on let's say LG G3s.
Anyway, no matter what you say... S4 on KitKat looks A LOT BETTER than the Lollipop UGLYNESS!
I'm on Lollipop from January but I cannot accept its stupid GUI. Well, I'm a graphic designer, I know that these days we've embraced this flat, simple ugly things that Microsoft started with Windows 8 and Google and others followed their stupidity with "Material Design"

Im planning to buy new phone but since the market is so big I have no idea what to choose. I was currently looking to buy the new iphone 7 but due the lack of jailbrakeble software I think I have to continue on android. I have been apple user since beginning until the ip 5 after that I swich to samsung s4 the flagship of that time but it was terrible, I really really hate the touchwiz. After that experience I still gave android another chance and found myself a MIUI device wich was great so I have been miui user for 3 years and I really loved it until they started to price up the phones and not updating the old phones. Now I was thinking the galaxy s7 because of the new feature where you can turn off the app drawer wich is evertything thats wrong with android for my oppinion but still I dont know what to choose. Should I wait for the s8 or take pixcel? I really like if the phone UI is something you can tweak and play with and ofcourse I love the xposed modules and rooting is a must. The budget is not the problem I just need to find a new good phone. Is there anything out there that im missing?

I had an S8+ prior to my rooted Pixel 2. On my last 2 phones, I was able to get IOS emojis to replace the stock ones (at a system level so it worked with instagram).
If I recall, the S8+ either used a subtratum skin or a font APK. I was wondering if this was possible with the S10 + Pie. All my Googling so far has come up empty with APKs that won't work on the S10 (both substratum and samsung font methods). This is literally the only thing that is preventing this phone from being perfect for me lol.

Same boat. I wanted to install the Google Sans font. Have yet to find a way that works on the S10 :/ Hoping one is found soon once phone gets into even more hands! And I too hate the Samsung emoji but I will admit they are MUCH better than they used to be lol

Is there a way to get that theme (wallpaper, animated lock screen and charging screen) on another mobile device? I saw some posts about rooting, but those were for other rog phone devices. Is there a way to get that theme on my new Samsung s23 ultra for example? Would love it on that big screen.
If it's rog phone exclusive only is there anything else similar to it? Does the Galaxy store have cool themes like that (that also change the charging animation)? Want to customize my phone to the max

Find a video, Crop to size and set as Wallpaper from Gallery app.
