My network data can connect to 4g so phone calls and MMS, but the symbol shows no data, yet when I load webpages there is data transmitting. When on wifi the symbol changes to service data enabled, it seems to have glitched when off wifi. Have done hard reset of mobile data, used another Sim and my Sim works fine in other phones, only this Sim in my phone (some sort of Sim setting error?) How can I reset this? There is no data limits on the Sim, but it seems like it's incorrectly set, running pixelexperience

Good day y'all,
I have a problem with the mobile connection on my phone, which is a Samsung Galaxy S4 (i9505) with CM10.1.
The mobile connection only works for a couple of minutes when i reboot the phone. After that time, it says "Offline" or "No network connection". I can still do phone calls though, so the connection to the celltower is still established.
APN settings are correct.
Data enabled is ticked
Data roaming is ticked (I need this, because my provider is using the mobile network of another provider)
Turning aeroplane mode on/off will not solve it.
Re-enabling data/-roaming will not solve it.
Switching to 2G mode will not solve it.
Searching for network again will not solve again.
Only reboot solves it.
Any idea what is going here? It's quite annoying.
Thanks.
Just reflash your rom.
Doesnot help. I am flashing the ROM almost daily plus i erase all caches.
*bump*
Now i tried the following:
Using the SIM card of my wife (different provider) -> no problem
My SIM card in my wife's phone -> no problem
My SIM card in my phone -> only working for two minutes.
I tried to modify the spn-conf.xml file by adding
<spnOverride numeric=”23212? fake_home_on=”23201?/>
so that the network is not seen as roaming network.
Still not working.
Now i changed the MCC/MNC to 23201.
Also not working.
Any idea what else i can modify?
Hi there, I just purchased an honorx1 7D-503L and I have put my sms card in from Tmobile and and it works fine on wlan but when i turn it off, no signal. Now the phone rings sometimes and I get text messages but no data. I called Tmobile last nite and they had me put in the proper apn settings and I have data checked in the mobile networks settings but still no data service when I click browser. Any suggestions? I love this phone so much on wifi but I need it to work when it isnt near a wifi connection.
I can make calls, but I can not use the data connection.
APN is correct.
Sim is working fine in other mobile phones.
No 'fly' or 'energie saving' mode.
What else could cause this trouble with trueSmart+?
Solved!
After recent reflashing to 2.05 my SIM card says 2G only. In the phones details I can see that the network is EDGE, but mobile data is grayed out. Of course, I have turned mobile data ON, tried various types of connection (3G, 3Gand 4G, etc.), tried both slots. Still on the SIM card thumbnail I see only 2G. Do I have to reflash the phone again?
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S9+ for a couple of weeks now and noticed a strange issue.
Whenever I'm connected to my service providers 4G LTE network and use mobile data, I can see mobile data along with the mobile network get disconnected and reconnect quite frequently. As in, I can see the mobile signal indicator turn to no signal and then back on again.
It seems to occur when there is a burst of data communicating through the connection. i.e. start of a Youtube video playback, doing a speed test etc. It's quite frequent and annoying.
So far I've tried the following to no avail:
- Network reset
- Using a different SIM card
- Booting the phone in safe mode
Pretty sure it's not a network provider issue because my wife uses the exact same phone with exact same firmware and hers does not have this symptom.
Any help is appreciated.
P.S. - I have not seen the issue when connected to WiFi on the HSPA+ network of the provider. Seems to occur only on 4G LTE.
I tried the following additional scenario:
I put two sims;
SIM 1 for calls and text on 3G/2G auto connect
SIM2 for data on LTE/3G/2G auto connect mode.
SIM2 connects to 4G. Whenever there is a sudden burst of data on it, mobile networks on both SIMS disconnect and reconnect.
