I read somewhere a few days ago that OneUI 4.1 is near release so I'm hoping they will just give us that with the latest security update now as it's so late, maybe wrong though, wishful thinking!

I am calling all EVO 3D users that has a phone that was manufactured in HK. While most of you got the update. Some of us (particularly those with HK device) has not seen any update of the ICS. I spoke to someone from HTC and he told me that all stock/un-rooted phones should have already gotten it. I am beginning to wonder, is there something wrong with our phones? If you own an HK device, can you please reply to this post and let us know if you have already received the update?
Nope. I've been checking software twice every hour for the past few days. If I go crazy HTC is gonna have to pay the medical bills

i also still dont have it.
but on fb page of evo 3d i still see people from different countries getting ics everyday.
so i think its still rolling out country by country.
i hope our devices get it soon.
and i hope we wont be skipped :S also starting to wonder if our devices have problems. like my market didnt update at all to play store untill i did it myself.

hi can you post the oriinal details of your phone.... kernel number... baseband... etc... I have forgotten or misplaced the details I have before going root and flash my 1st custom rom? would appreciate it very much... by the way... i am using 3HK

That is exactly what I was doing. I was checking my phone almost everytime. I just got off the phone with an HTC rep from HK, She admitted that they haven't release the ICS update yet for HK devices. Rat!

I've asked them by e-mail. They just replied me officially, and no exact date for releasing update was provided.

Hmm, but we're in the middle of the month now, so if the past tells us anything, we'll receive an update very soon, i guess? But i'm not in a hurry. We've got a fine collection of ROMs now, so take your time Sony.

Judging by the version, it'll be bug fixes. However, just because a firmware has been certified, doesn't guarantee release.

we will see which one that is, downloading now, i think it`s .290, but maybe it`s .124 .

Not posted yet here in New Jersey.
Update: as of 12 noon EST the update became avaialble via OTA.
I got it yesterday. Was hoping the Live Focus "improvements" would be more than just a UI change. Oh well, we'll get 8.1 before we know it [emoji23]

Sony usually updates XZ Premium and XZ1 / XZ1C together. It's weird that all of the varieties didn't get the July security patch yet.

There may be few reasons: IFA and new devices or number of still updated ones. The first one should be gone next month, the 2nd may end with updates every two months for this 3 exflagships.
