Google Play Store isn't showing all the apps that have updates available in the Manage Apps section. But if I open an app Page, then I see the app has an update, but it doesn't show up on the Updates section. Please note that some apps do show up there, but not all apps. I have no problems downloading the updates from either the Updates section or the app Page itself.
Some things to note:
1. I have multiple Google accounts in the system.
2. I have multiple users in the system. Some of the apps show updates available when I change user, and I don't see any reason why the update won't show up under all users.
I have tried clearing Google Play Store app data, uninstalled Google Play Store updates, reboot, etc. But that hasn't helped.
Any ideas?
Keep getting these blank pages:

The problem is not for just that app. That was only an example. The temporary solution is to force stop Google Play Store and delete its cache. Then everything works for sometime (or may be few days) before the problem reappears again.
Is no one else having this problem?
I'm having this problem on both my OnePlus and Samsung phones. It is worse in my Samsung phone.
Every few days, or sometimes even multiple times a day, i see this problem crop up. I then force stop Google Play Store and delete it's cache. It works fine for some time before having the problem again.
Any ideas?
Another bug: Pressing on update does nothing:

Rooting is not the problem. TP's are 'rooted' in webOS just by turning debugging on.
Try flashing the latest gapps for ics (031712) again, also flash the gapps fixer utility. Rohan's mod changes the build.prop file (among other things) so more games are playable. There still will be some that won't work, though.
Its not so much that the apps don't work, they just don't show up in my download tab in the play store, and I am unable to download them through the store itself. I tried both options you mentioned. No luck though :-(

Try this:
Reboot into CWM, clear cache and Dalvik Cache, then (at your discretion) install the newest daily and reinstall newest GApps. Then, when you reboot, before you open the Market, go to Settings => Apps => Google Play => Clear Cache, Clear Data, Force Close, and try again.
That should theoretically fix it.
Im looking for an app or the way to manager account apps. I have a lot of apps that were downloaded and installed but currently not used or even not welcomed. I can remotely delete them from the account by pressing DELETE button in MY APPS in Google Store, like on screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But this way is a pain in the ass and Im looking for more easier way to delete unneeded apps. There is no way to do this via google store web page on PC
I'm affraid this ain't possible.
I also have been checking the Play Store website, but even there you can't remove them from the list.
On the other hand, why is it irritating you? You can easily see which apps you have installed in Settings > Apps
It is irritating cause I cant delete them. I just want to get rid of them from my account history.
I know I can manage apps for example from Titanium Backup but only those installed

There's a big request going on since a long time. And it seems Google doesn't really care yet...
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
I see. April 2012. Google doesnt even care. But I thought about some independent app which could exist.
thanks for information
I have found the way to remove it fast. Its kinda stupid but who though about such thing?
Long press on one app, then multiselect other apps. Like selecting few elements then DELETE button
I got rid off 2000 unused apps
You know a year or so ago google updated the market to include music movies and some more bs that i never wanted on my phone (and a terrible icon). I found out that if you remove all read write permissions from /system/app/marketupdater.apk and then uninstall all market updates you wouldn't have to use the play store but you could always enjoy the android market the way nature intended.
Next you made google + and and forced us to use it if we wanted to review apps. No problem once a month I make a google account make all my reviews and then delete it.
Now you go off and install this app on my phones and then when I delete it it comes right back like jason. Guess what....... wait for it.... I figured out a way to stop it ( wish there was a smiley face with a middle finger). Any ways lol here it is
Okay so the first thing you need to download this apk here
uninstall google play services
Then either put it on you sdcard and install it or adb install it simple done
If your wondering what it is it's simple it's a package with the same package name as the the google play services no main activity or anything
If you like this hit thanks and if you have some mirrors thanks.
Video here http://youtu.be/qzVpoMXoApc
P.S Youtube does work make sure that you uncheck automatic updates from all google products so they can't fix this also probably a good idea to resign the google play apk so that it can't do automatic updates anymore
P.P.S go here for an original android market that doesn't update just minds it's own and delivers apps
Smiley like this

Hello guys,
I got my Galaxy S4 (rooted and Samsung Stock Rom) with 5.0.1 a few months ago. I was using my phone just fine however i'm facing a weird problem since then. I can't update Google Play Store app itself since version 7.0.17 - and all the apps installed on the phone have stopped "auto-updating" theirselves which drives me crazy as i have to update apps manually.
What i've tried and got nothing so far:
- Trying installing newer Google Play Store versions with APKs on XDA or on the net (trusted resources), resulting in "application not installed" error.
- Synching phone system time with correct time zones.
- Deleting Play Store cache, updates and reverting back to initial release.
- Updating "Play Services" to the latest version. (Play Services is running at the latest version unlike Play Store, huh?)
- Clearing Dalvik Cache using TWRP.
...etc any many other things.
What can be the reason of this problem? I either can't update/install Google Play itself, and the apps installed on the phone stopped updating themselves automatically due to failure of Google Play. I also can't update Play Store app by tapping "build number" as i'm prompted "a new version of Google Play Store will be downloaded and installed" but nothing happens after hitting OK.
I'm really lost, the ROM can be faulty (XXUHOH6 firmware). I'm attaching the relevant screenshots.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

No help?
I'm really lost about what to do.
Hello,
I'm facing a weird issue: since yesterday circa 5:30 p.m., some apps suddenly stopped working for no reason and just won't open or rapidly forceclose when I try to launch them: Gmail, Google, my bank app, Feedly, Amazon shopping, Steam, Xbox, Google Rewards, etc.
I first noticed that issue while I was running Android Auto and wanted to check my emails, the Gmail app force-closed without any message when I tried to open it.
On the Google app for instance, as soon as I try to type something in the upper-bar, BAM, force-close. And I get this weird message instead of my usual Discover feed at launch:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I also noticed that I can't open the Google settings: all I get is a white page, so I'm thinking it might be related to my account in some way... but some other Google apps, like Google Music or Maps, work just fine.
There's no common denominator between the apps that work and those that don't.
For those which don't work, I cleared the cache and even rest app data, uninstalled those I can and restored to stock the system apps, but no result, those specific apps just won't open.
I also tried wipe cache from the recovery.
For the record I'm running android 10 and even flashed a more recent OXM firmware (keeping HOME_CSC) to make sure it wasn't due to system file.
Do you have any guess??
Eventually decided to do a factory reset and everything works fine now
