Hello!
I bought an Oppo phone from somebody but after I got home I saw that the phone was demo or in demo mode. I google it to try to find a solution, I found a solution to enter my gmail on the phone and to erase it remote and after that "wipe data" would appear in recovery and I would get rid of demo mode. But after remote erase, wipe data didn't appear and the phone got stucked in recovery. I tried to online update but when I press it, it searches for wifi and the power off message appear like I pressed the power button. I tried to manual update with otg and usb stick, the update went well but the phone is still stuck in recovery. Sometimes when it enters recovery, after I select language it gives me this error: kindly reminder, system error, after selet language, please select online update(keep data) to recovery system, thanks!
Any idea to recover the phone? I read about edl mode, msm...Can I do something?
Big thanks!

Good day to you all kind folks!
Basicly, i have the same problem as mr. adijat from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1816263 .
I was digging about link2sd with the phone from the subject and messed it up.
I managed to get it to boot to android again, but with limited capability:
1. Once connected to PC, it only charges, no mass storage, no usb debuging, no nothing.
2. Half of the applications are missing, like GooglePlay, Google Account Sinchronization etc.
I did try to install those manually, but to no avail, if i try to install GooglePlay.apk it just says: Application not installed.
I was google-ing for a way to adb push those applications, but i have no idea what parts of android system are responsible for USB controlers, and every try to find out doesnt end so good.
As for the original stock rom/firmware from huawei, they DO have the phone listed on their download page, but nothing to download from there, and from another sites i cant seem to find the specific rom for this model, although i've tried to install some similar ROMs like official U8650 and S8600, none worked ( when i enter in update screen, step 1/2 finishes and as soon as step 2/2 starts it says "Update Failed" and thats it.
I can't seem to get it to fastboot mode anymore also (Shut down > Plug to PC > Volume down+Power 2 sec > 10 sec Power ), because when i plug it in to PC while its shut down it doesnt go to battery charging screen, it just stays on white loading screen.
I'm baffeled with this, i'm not much of an expert on this stuff but i know the basics, and cant figure it out.
If anyone has any solutions, it would be great!
Greetings from Croatia and I'm sorry in advance if i posted in wrong part of the forums, this is the best i could find.

Hopefully someone can help me, my child has a Pendo Pad 7 Model no.PNDPP44QC7 with Kitkat 4.4 and it ended up with lots of malware/viruses and barely usable. This tablet only has a power button and no other buttons so I did not know how to boot into recovery mode to do factory reset and after trying reset through settings which made no difference so I gave the device ROOT access so I could try and delete the malware etc but of course i did not do any sort of backup and did not add CWM or TWRP recovery. I ended up deleting something wrong and now the device just hangs on the Pendo logo screen. I have since worked out how to boot into Recovery Mode and also Fastboot mode now but a bit too late I tried to do a wipe data/factory reset and this made no difference still hangs on Pendo logo.
I can't seem to find a CWM or TWRP image file to suit the tablet and possibly try putting tablet into fastboot mode and using ADB on computer and flash the recovery to tablet. ???
in recovery mode options i get are
apply update from ADB
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
backup user data
restore user data
but i can not seem to find any correct files to work with this tablet any help to get this tablet working again would be much appreciated Thanks
Good day! how did you manage to boot into Recovery Mode or Fast Mode?
After pressing the power button and seeing the display turn on. Keep spamming the power button and a menu will pop-up on screen with boot options. Short press of the power button cycles through the options, long press selects the option.
Mine was also stuck on a boot loop, even though I had not played around with any settings or tried to root etc. I was able to revive it by going into recovery mode and doing a factory reset.
Hey OP I've got hold of the same tablet I'm working on getting a rom dump atm. Bare with me I'll try and send a link for the img. If u can get into recovery mode where u can update zip. That's good if not try and via pc. Once u have a link to the tablets boatloader, rest is history.
Hi,
Wondering if I can follow up on this.
Mine is stuck on the PENDO boot screen, and I have tried the reset button, as well as the se commands PENDO suggested....
1. Press On/Off Switch (Power), wait for the Pendo Logo start up screen, and then press On/Off Switch (Power) twice right away.
2. Factory mode menu comes out after 10 seconds, two fingers touches panel together to move to select the one like the following picture shows (no need to understand the Chinese words, just follow through as what the picture shows)
3. Press On/Off Switch (Power) and the following picture below will show, press On/Off Switch (Power) again to proceed on Recovery Mode, and wait for system to restart.
Unfortunately, nothing still happens.
ADB will not reveal what device it is, nor will Win 10 recognise the device for it to show in Device Manager or connected devices.
Windows responds with a ding ding, but nothing shows up.
I am stuck, and any info gladly accepted.
Thanks
bump please

not working in my pendotab window 8
Hi,
I could get no further with mine, the same as you.
I contacted Pendo Support, and explained it would work but not boot, I even asked for the image file so I could reload it in recovery mode, however, they did not have access to it, the Chinese manufacturer had not made it available to them.
As I described it was not damaged, but simply not working, they agreed to send me a replacement, even though it was out of warranty, as really, as I said to them, it was not fit for purpose.
I had to send the old one back, but they sent me a satchel in which to do so, at no cost to me.
They sent me the new one very promptly.
Hope is not lost,
Someone has finally manage to extract the factory ROM for the pendo PNDPP44QC7. Just search the model number on needrom.

it seems like the phone needs to be flashed with your stock rom, or first try factory resetting it using recovery, boot into recovery by shutting down your phone and holding power and volume up buttons till the screen light up showing the phone logo.
I did the steps you told me
wipe reset factory reset
the phone Still showing the same problems
Mode recovery

i found a stock rom for your phone in needrom website:
https://mega.nz/#!VVIVEaTR!NnihRlffl-3O6fCyESNV-KR534HVYKZEsNEAWdrDPts
i brought the link so you don't have to register.
you can flash it with sp flash tool, but use "Download only" option, DON'T USE "Format and Download" option.
you can also search google "flash firmware with sp flash tool".
ps: Sorry for late reply, try Quoting my post or mention me next time so i can get some notification that you replied.
Not working, still with the same problem
I can see imei invalid
Hello,
I have a BIIIIG problem. It is my fault, but I would like to know if there is a way to fix it. My phone does not boot. When I turn it on, blinks for a sec the boot logo and then it shows a black screen with this msg:
Warning
Invalid image, enter FASTBOOT mode
I have a rooted Lenovo S60a with the original ROM, but I made this mistake: I installed a patch to make my Play Store valid/verifed again, because I could not install apps/updates.
The Recovery Mode with the power button & vol up does not work / show up. It is dead. I think that the adb option was not checked in the "secret" menu.
I would like to know if there is a way to save my data, to find my data, to copy my data in my pc. I don't care about the phone, it was about time to buy a new one, but I dont want to lose my contacts etc.
Any way of help is welcomed, from installing special linux on my desktop, to pulling out the rom chip and make it usb somehow!
Thanks in advance!!!
Hello Community,
I got my Hisense A5 as a second hand device – possibly from chinahandys. It had google apps installed and no visible chinese bloatware.
Played around a bit for a few days then enabled developer settings and by accident checked some screen / hardware acceleration options.
Immediately after, the eink display did not update showing vertical lines. After rebooting, I still see the Hisense logo and immediately after that, vertical lines / glitches.
Obviously, the phone works as I can answer calls (by sliding my finger "blindly" across the spot the UI elements are) but I cannot see what I am doing as the screen never refeshes anymore. However, I can confirm the screen itself is working as it cleans/resets and shows the clean logo after a reset. Immediately after that, it freezes again and shows vertical lines only.
I tried holding down Vol down + Power and resetting the phone (deleting user data as fas as I could translate the CN font) but that did not reset the system / wipe the settings.
As the screen does not respnd / update, I cannot even select the transfer mode after connecting a USB cable. ADB cannot connect the device.
Can anybody help?
Thanks!

in case you don't have bonded google account, boot into Android System Recovery <3e> (in english language!) and factory reset device.
Warning: Don't do this if you forgot google password, factory reset from recovery mode will trigger FRP lock.

Hi and thanks for your advice.
I was able to reset the phone via the VISION recovery (I don't know why the phone did not load into bootloader).
For anyone coming across this: I used another phone to translate the chinese text using google translate / camera and found out the reset & wipe option requires you to press VOLUME to confirm. In the past, I only selected the one available option button but that turned out to to be "abort & reboot".
Thanks again!
