"Automatic rescue conditions: The system restarts 3 times in a row or is stuck on the boot screen for 2 minutes (each OTA upgrade system will automatically extend 30 minutes), all modules will be disabled. Please pardon my noobish questions
1. Do I need to unlock bootloader to root
2. How easy is it to unroot
3. Can I still receive new OTA updates after rooting
I want to try this but is there any guide of some sorts
or do i just run the bat file

Can you copy that to "C:\OPO", problem is there is space ( ) in path
What is the version of colorOS that is installed?
Also, is it the official (Chinese + Crappy English), or the international one?

Mate, if this version of color os messes with your proximity sensor once you flash away from it, you might want to put in the op that users will need to flash a cm modem to fix the issue.
Hi all, i'm trying to update my RN3pro SE with Updater (to 6.10.13). It download correctly the update package but when the phone reboot for install updates nothing happens, there's a loop of reboots. I also waited 3 hours but nothing to do. I was forced to restart the phone.
Can someone help me? :crying:
I don't know easy ways to update manually my phone so i need OTA updates!
Is your phone unlocked? If so, officially or unofficially? Do you have a custom recovery?

I never unlocked my phone so i think this is an official update. However i post a screenshot of my information.

Try to enter recovery and do a factory reset. If the phone doesn't boot, you can try flashing the fastboot version of the ROM via EDL. Search the forums and you'll find various guides on how to do that.

Your phone looks like kenzo not kate. Your baseband version and kernel numbers are same with kenzo. First make sure which version of device you have then update. Otherwise you will lose network and gsm features.
I have a Kate device and baseband version looks the same as in the screenshot above.

First the 10 beta version recovery flashed

After that, flashed last V9 old version A12 there is no night mode + SOT

If you want a newer normal setup from the file manager version last V9 A21 night mode + SOT working

After flashing the p2q zip can I flash directly the latest coloros ozip available from realme website or is it just the q2p zip which can be flashed

Yes , you need to backup your storage
Android 10 will be forced downloaded and installed on ur phone after downgrading to 9
Can't copy the Q2P file to the phone. Instead, I get the message "Cannot copy item. The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected". Tried several times. I can copy over all but that file, for some reason.
EDIT (17/3/20): Downloading it via the phone, instead of the computer, proved effective.
Stuck on beta version
After installing ptoQ when it's on Android 10 24/03/2020 update it stuck on beta version
Which is not allowing to flash other ozip files
Such as p2Q and the official stock rom RMX1851EX_11_A.21_OTA_0210_all_201912092010.ozip
Unable to disable quotas on dev/block/platform because system/bin/tune2fs is missing
Installation aborted

Day before yesterday i was trying to flash rom to update (mi pad 1 )4.4 to lollipop version and I’ve did everything exactly same like tutorial first rooted with update.zip to activate twrp then flash custom rom but it got error in middle due to this when I rebooted the device it stuck on logo . I’ve flashed recovery firmware by mi flashing tool it goes 100% in bootloader mode but still stuck on logo. Any method to back to normal?

Nope I’ve just flashed different normal fastboot roms . Only can access fastboot mode and recovery mode even restarting stuck on mi logo don’t know when it gonna be fixed

EDIT:fastboot ROMs? Never know that it existed for mi pad.
1. Download Mi PC suite and connect it in fastboot mode.
If everything go normal then it will automatically detect the respective ROM.

2. Just click on Flash device.
Now if all the things are normal it will reboot normally.

Thanks, I managed to force it through. I couldn't do it through recovery since MIUI recovery 5.0 doesn't have update option. So I did it through updater - choosing an installation package
I'm in the the UK and the update is waiting for me. Not too bothered about it tho as it's MIUI and that means for every bug fix means at least 2 new bugs.
