My girlfriend and i both have the Amazfit 5 Band. We both use it for displaying our heart rates while streaming. The issue i'm having is that when trying to pair the device to the app (Pulsoid) i see both my band and her band, but both are named the exact same thing (Amazfit 5 Band). i'd like to change the name of my band to something like "Em's Amazfit" so i can tell which one i'm trying to pair to in the app. i found the setting where you can add a description to the band name, but the description doesn't show up in the app we're using, so i need to know how to change the actual name of the band i'm wearing.
Google has been no help at all, and i have already installed the modded Zepp app from another forum, but still only see where to change the description, and not the actual band name...

So I have mediacom as a TV provider for my apartment (shoot me please...) and it's "Digital Ready" so all the channels are 51-1, 51-5, 52-15, etc etc.
Is there a way to manually change the channels for the HTC one app to know what the actual channel is? When I go to the provider list on the HTC One, it does not recognize any of the digital ready channels no matter what I place as my settings.
Thanks.
p.s. - here is the provider channel link I use... http://www.mediacomtoday-lineup.com/lineup/401/springfield_battlefield_and__greene_county_mo.aspx
p.s.s. - I used the search tool on XDA and Google to try to figure this out and none of the fifteen topics I read I could figure out for this.
Hi,i just bought this gear fit,it helps me keeping track on my daily activities (on the watch) and stuff like that but i hate that s-health or samsungs fitness app doesn't work on other devices (i have an LG G Flex). Then i found out about endomondo that they support the gear fit so i downloaded the app. After i installed it a new icon on the watch appeared called app connect and endomondo appears there, but when i press it on the phone i get the message Not a Samsung Device or something like that. Has anyone tried this app and can confirm that works with gear fit? Or is it because i have an LG G Flex?
Or does anybody knows any other apps that can make a graph for your activities and can connect to the gear fit?
Thank you.
Endomondo works great with the gear fit. I think Strava used to support it but now does not. I do not have a supported Samsung device but I do have a Samsung phone and I had to change the build.prop file to get it working. I suspect you would have to do the same as in the link below. It may make any LG links unstable however. Copy original build.prop to your PC and if your phone hangs, after modding the file, then push it back using ADB. Good luck.

It works with my ANT+ Garmin Heart rate monitor. It has 3 displays you can customize. See pic.
Hey
Is it possible to use gear fit as instant heart monitor.
To enable working in aerobic area for example.
That means, that gear fit alarms when you are under or above aerobic state, (eg. under 120 hb/s and above 150 hb/s).
Thanx for any kind of help or suggestion.
If you set the Gear fit to track Exercise>Walking or Running, it will show a constant pulse rate but I see no where, app or other that will set HR alarm zones without using HRM, phone and app.
I want report a bug, that several users have already confirmed with CN and US Rom and Amazfit Watch app from Mi Store and Play Store.
If the watch is set to 4 data fields for activities, the sport item order can be rearranged in the Amazfit Watch app, and the 4 fields will be shown correctly during exercise.
But if however the watch is set to 6 data fields, it ignores the sport item order from the app and shows always the same set. This is especially annoying as we can't see e.g. the average pace during a trail run.
Is there a correction with another rom?pacefield, US, CN???
Thanks
I have the same issue. I change the order of the fields in the app but they don't change on the watch. (( What should I try?
No solution yet for 6 fields. If you need a custom set, you have to switch to 4 fields only.
It doesn't even work with 4 fields. How do you make the change? Do I need to start an activity first?
Of course, how else do you want to see that it works?
If you change the order in the Amazfit app and you don't start an activity on the watch, you wont see anything on the watch. Strange question or I misunderstood you.
I think you misunderstood me.
I mean does it matter what's the consequence of the process? Does it matter if:
1) First I arrange the fields in the app and then start the activity, or
2) I must start an activity and then change the order in the app while the activity is on, or
3) another option?
So far it's not working and I thought there could be another proper way to do it.
My last tests are from the time of the first post. So, long time not checked. I always use 6 fields and can live with the default order.
But it should be logical that only made settings in the app can be used in an activity. Changes after a finished activity has no effect to the already done things. The sport item order screen is only visible while an active workout.
Hi all,
I don't know if this already exist or if it is even possible from the technical perspective. I've tried to find how to do it, mainly trying to install one of the already existings apps for android but only one is compatible with the amazfit pace architecture and the result in the watch screen is to poor.
The point is to have a new activity in the smartwatch that record laps by GPS position (fe some garmin models do this as well). You set at the beginning a start point and every time you cross that point the activity set a new laptime. It will be usefull for different sports as for example circuit cycling or motorsports like go karts/motorbikes.
Does someone know if this is possible or if already exist something similar?
Regards
Which device? Pace and Stratos have a function called Autolapse which I guess is what you are looking.

Hi nhedgehog, thanks for your reply.
I have an Amazfit Pace... I can see the autolap by distance or by time but can't find the autolap by gps start position or something called autolapse, where is that? Do you have any custom rom installed?
I don't think you can do it besides auto lap by distance or time, as most watches do. If you need anything else then probably you must export the GPX data on watch, transfer it to computer then use a third party service to edit the data.
I'll answer later, just switched the ROM, don't know if I got confused with all that new settings.
I'm on the Amazfit Pace Chines BETA 2.0.6.12 ROM. Here is a thread which lists the activity settings of some outdoor activities.
You are right I can't define a GPS position as Lap Starting. I have the possibility to define autolap by distance and set this alert on or off but not what you were looking for.
I also would be interested by this GPS lap function
WOS2 on Pace has an "Auto Lap" setting (with option of notification separate from the normal lap notification where you can set the lap length), most probably it exists on Stratos as well... Does it do what you need?
Hi,
I just got the new Amazfit GTR 3 Pro and wanted to see if anything unofficial could be tweaked or sideloaded.
It's running their new "Zepp OS" which there are very little information about. I guess it's a flavour of Linux or Android with a skin on top, but it won't show up in ADB. I can't find anywhere on the watch to enable developer options (similar to tapping on the build number, etc).
Huami said a dev kit would be released at a later date but... well, I don't want to wait , plus they are talking about watchfaces and "web apps" which makes me think it might not be native apps, only web-services anyways...
Anyone got more insights into this?
Thanks!
Its not an android for sure.
found some stuff at pastebin, have a look:

I am wondering if there is any developer who is interested in Amazfit smart watches could port the zepp OS from GTR 3 to GTR 2, since Amazfit don't want to update older watches, I have no idea if the hardware is compatible, but there are always great developers here with different and strong knowledge
On the new GTR3 it is possible to program the display to be switched on by wrist movement only during daylight hours, so at night it does not turn on the display ? I have already activated the do not disturb but only limits the vibration when the notifications arrive but not the switching on of the display.
Thanks for the help

inside the zepp app, choose display and brightness, Lift wrist to view info, start time and end time can be changed. Also, from the watch display setttings you can change the mode to all day but you cant edit the time schedule.

You should try the latest Zepp developer's website: https://developer.zepp.com/os/home and join their technical developers' communities to learn how to develop their apps inside their Zepp App Store. Slack Team Room: https://t.zepp.com/t/zepp-community-slack. There is an online global hackathon with multiple technical videos that you can learn and attend live technical sessions. I don't have the links, but I should be able to find them soon.

I think, We can't do it ... GT*2 are smartbands like hardware and GT*3+ are smartwatch hardware, with more CPU clock, more RAM and Flash.
