Is it possible to cross-port roms from Mediatek Helio P22 device to Mediatek Helio P22T device?
P22 uses MT6762 processor but P22T uses MT8768T one. A few days ago I read that it is possible to port, for example, MT65XX to MT65XX, but is it also possible MT67XX to MT87XX?
I want to try port some custom rom for my tablet which uses Helio P22T but can't found any custom roms for this chipset, so I thought that P22 devices should be the same.

I found another one thing, that why not get it the Android 7 or 8 to the Helio X20 phone, as Redmi Note 4 Mtk.
Elephone S8 has gone with Helio X25 chipset and this has Android 7 base os.
These chipset is same, only difference the clock speed!!!

I have lava iris 870 phone. This phone comes with two chipset i think, one is mt6735p and another is mt6735m. Most of the cases i found custom roms built for mt6735m. But my phones chipset is mt6735p. Will the custom rom built for mt6735m work on mt6735p?
