First of all, this is my first post, so hello all and good to meet you
I've been browsing this community for a while, and in my travels I come across these two numbers: either U5 or U6. I've searched my phone settings far and wide but I have no clue where it is or how to find it. Doing a search here or on Google hasn't come up with any results yet either.
Most people who talk about these numbers seem to just know, and it's making me feel mighty silly (which I most likely am)

First of all,
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information
Then look for Baseband Version and you will see a number after U or after S.
I have attached a picture showing the same.

Every single piece of information in one place, without the need to click/enter/open anything. You were even able to read the last message/email directly from this screen.
I tried hard to achieve a screen like this using widgets, but these got title bars and spaces everywhere. In 2011 there was a project called SlideScreen which seems to have been pretty close to what i am thinking about, but it got abandoned.
Help me guys, how do i get something like this on android?

Original ROM is not really stable, after using camere in HDR the phone reboots ant etc. I have some experience with Android, but when it comes to these kind of devices which do not have certain model, I am totally new . I would like to know from where to start (phone is rooted).

There really is no where to start as most of those companies never release the kernel source code. So not a lot you can do. Not to mention they are known for lieing about the hardware
Hello all... I am planning to root my Galaxy Mega 6.3 I9200 phone, I have been doing a ton of reading through forums and it seems that the build number matters in the process... I have searched with the " " and there is nothing about my specific build number which is kot49h.i9200ubudng1 . I would really like to root my phone but it is my only phone at the moment and it is an older phone. All of the posts i have found were from 4-5 years ago. Below is a screenshot of my phone info and I would really like to find out if it is possible to root. Please point me in a direction that I could root it safely and effectively... I would prefer to do it without a one-click app or any type of 3rd party, I would also like a good way to backup the phone to my pc just in case anything goes wrong. Hey everyone, if you guys could shed some light on this I'd appreciate it.
I have fairly strong suspicion my phone (note9 tmobile) has been compromised and is being attacked via shell, scripts, initially via a usb cable directly to the phone now remotely via Apache studio.
I'm really lost in trying to figure out what to do right now to secure my phone then where to go from, I have tons of screenshots but here are just some, if anyone is willing to help I will be immediately responding to everything and I would greatly appreciate it.
My main question is, what do I need to immediately do to stop it, where is a good starting point for researching what's going on specifically with this particular scenario.

Now, I'd like to update the beast (latest security updates puzzle me, Android 9 or even 10 ould be nice), or even better, switch to LineageOS.
Does anyone know if that was done before? I see no company website/forum or no info regarding anything close on the web.

The settings menu that you show doesn't look like Android 8.1 i t looks like Android 6 (maybe 5).
This phone is not legit with its Android versions, sorry that it happened.
