Good evening, I bought a OnePlus 9R after the A12 update and I have noticed an overheating on the phone when opening almost any app, but Facebook is where it is most noticeable. I also leave a screenshot of a section which is consuming a lot of battery which is "Quick connection to devices" I don't know if this is influencing it to get too hot and another detail is that I can't update Chrome.... I already restarted the equipment and there is no longer so much heating but this connection option is still present and it is the one with the highest consumption

This is a known issue that many users started facing recently. From what I've read, manually updating to a newer version of the app fixes this issue. Try downloading and manually installing Quick device connect 2.5.23 from here and see if that fixes it for you too.

I have been having this problem with multiple roms. When my phone crashes and boots sometimes it comes up and tells me to connect to my charger and the battery is at less than 5%. If I reboot it, it comes back up normal. sometimes I have to reseat the battery.
I cleaned the battery connection and I haven't had any trouble yet.. but I haven't had any crashes since then either. I bought my phone on day one so I guess it could just be a bad battery? Anyone else seen this? In the pic you can see it happened twice.

Bro, there are a lot of better ways to rack up your post count then spamming multiple threads with "Thanks you!"...
Anyways Dr.Stainedglove, I remember someone with a similar issue a while back. Turned out to be a battery issue. Not sure if that's what caused your issue but if the phone starts acting up again I would suggest you look into a new battery. You can get a 1800mAh batteries (400mAh bigger then our stock batteries) for pretty cheap. See here.
Sure looks like it

Thanks.. I may end up getting one of those epic batteries even if I dont have anymore issues. Since cleaning the connections its been working fine.
(First of all, apologies if this has already been asked and answered. If that is the case could you please forward me to the relevant thread)
I have been getting sudden drops in my battery as shown in the pictures below. Prior to this, my phone seems to have froze/become unresponsive. On forced reboot, I have found these results on the battery monitor.
What is causing the above?
(and) How do I fix this?

maybe a dodgy app - did you download something recently. I would suggest you use better battery stats http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809 and read all of @chamonix work to understand what is going on.
Other than that, you could try a full rom wipe, are you rooted? You can do factory reset through settings, a bit drastic but better than trounced battery!!
REMEMBER: If someone helps you hits the thanks button most people like watching their thanks meter rise :good::good:
I find that when tempreture reach some limits, some cores will be deactivated by system automatically, it will even deactivate the super core and two bigger cores which makes my device too stuck to scan a QR code. How can I prevent this? I already disabled the system app thermal control.

Did anyone here manually S22+ OTA update to UI 5.1 !?
PLEASE, Leave your comments. PROS & CONS after you have updated UI to 5.1

Nah, having it for some time already. Not a lot of improvements but regarding battery life, it is back in the line with One UI 4.1 maybe. 5.0 was pretty bad for me at least (Qualcomm version here). But with location enabled, the drain is still considerable. I am considering making a full wipe to see if it does solve the lags over the UI that it shows from time to time. The least important things (animations), improved. I'm still trying to understand the reason a company like Samsung (or even Google) put so much effort to a truly worthless features like animations. I really don't care about things flying around, I just need my applications running as quick as possible, preferably without redraws...
For reference, a factory reset helped to restore smoothness, battery and even small lags the phone was presenting occasionally
Hello everyone, I bought my Huawei Matebook 16 two months ago and since updating to BIOS version 2.28, I have been experiencing battery issues. When I turn off my laptop with any remaining battery percentage and turn it back on, the battery shows an increase in charge (for example, from 80% to 85%), but it quickly drains without even opening any applications. Additionally, on some occasions, my laptop shuts down abruptly when the battery is between 30% and 40%. This situation is very concerning as it limits my use of the laptop and I don't know how to solve it. It is worth noting that the "Smart Charge" function was added to "PC Manager" in BIOS version 2.28. Has anyone else experienced this issue after updating to BIOS version 2.28 and using the "Smart Charge" function? Do you have any solutions or suggestions to help me resolve it? I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you very much!
PS: I've seen in some forums that some people also have this issue. Does anyone else experience it?
What has your issue to do with Windows 11 this forum is dedicated to? Take note that neither the BIOS nor any device driver ( here: battery driver ) is part of Windows OS.
That's what ChatGPT answered:
