Hi friends. I already have two posts commenting on the problem, the thing is that I've already given up and I can't find a solution. I suffered a hardbrick that only detects me through edl points and when passing a blankflash it boots correctly but the mobile does not start in fastboot, it simply restarts with a white led without any response. If anyone has any idea what I can try I would appreciate it.

Hi everyone! As stated in the title my phone(p769) wont boot completely, I was in the middle of doing the bootloader unlock when I accidecntly replaced the bin during the root process of it with the wrong bin. Instead of replacing it with the v6 tmobile usa one I used the v5 canadian one. Now when I boot my phone up the lg screen is there and then eventually it just hits an android with a red exclamation point. I've tried Re-flashing while its in s/w upgrade mode with the flasher set to emergency, and Ive tried pressing the home button + vol down + power to no avail(it goes through the process but the same thing happens)
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance!
Edit: Also when I try to reflash, it just says it cant communicate with my phone. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers several times but seeing as how I cant acutally get into the phone Im not sure what else to do.
Edit 2: So ive been trying do something witht his for the past three hours and I cant get anywhere with it. I cant get the phone to show up as an adb device while its in s/w upgrade mode, and at the red exclamation point screenit shows up but as recovery and the lg tools fail to communicate with it. I would really appreciate if anyone knew how to deal with this.
Just in case anyone stumbles upon this and has the same issue I would like to say that i finally got mine fixed.
It has been a long day of frustrations but I finally got it there with the help of some awesome tutorials.
In order to fix it I had to fastboot my phone and flash the default loader and boot then my device would show up in my adb devices and I could sucessfully flash and root it.

I followed the fastboot tutorial and searched around in the help forum for people with similar issues and found a post where lelus posted both of the files I needed to flash with fastboot, from there I just put my phone in s/w upgrade mode and followed Lelus guide for root/flash
Hi, all
I've made a horrible mistake while checking if my phone's bootloader was unlocked. I followed the steps in this tutorial http://techglen.com/2013/10/01/abd-and-fastboot-guide/ in order to install adb and fastboot drivers, and then followed this post's suggestions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2399320 to check if bootloader was unlocked.
I don't really know what I did wrong, but my phone suddenly froze in the starting screen (Chinese carrier logo, I believe) and it won't respond to any buttons. Can't turn it off and can't go into recovery or safe mode though key combinations.
Did I just brick my phone? I'm desperate here. The phone had a nearly full battery and it'll stay like that for a long time. I really hope someone knows what to do.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: I've solved the problem by doing a hard reset, which I didn't know how to do (obviously I'm a complete 'noob' in this matter).
For anyone experiencing this problem in the future, you need to hold the power button for ten seconds or so.
Sorry for the useless post.
Hi.
I'm new here so pardon any error...
someone advised me to post this problem here/ tterox
i was trying to unlock the network using a tutorial i found online.
but after editing the "mmcblk0p4" file the phone shuts down and won't come on. i tried plugging it to pc and it shows a "qhusb_dload" driver window. i tried using linux also and it shows it in qdl mode.
I don't know what to do because i''ve tried so many options adb and fastboot can't detect the phone. any useful information will be appreciated.
thanks.
Sorry to say but most every time that a device gets into Qualcomms download mode you have a brick. There are a few times that people have hit this mode momentarily and got out but I suspect that you were playing with a partition that is needed to boot thus cannot boot.
Usually the only thing to do know is JTAG or return to the factory for RMA
Sorry for the bad news

Hi,
So as you've seen my phone is bricked, I can't reboot it by ANY way, it just vibrate when I try PWR + VOL+/-.
I looked a bit everywhere, and I find this -> http://www.droidgyan.com/soft-brick-vs-hard-bricked-vs-broken/#
But I need to know :
-Anyone has ever tried this ?
-is it a good solution ?
-is-there any better or easier way to get my phone back to life ?
And I repeat, I tried everything I found on others threads, every combination of buttons, nothing worked. So if you know a way like this, be sure it's not on every soft/hard brick forums, I've done them all ;p
And sorry for my english, I just hope everything is understandable.
Same here Have you find one solution ?
From experience with other devices that looks logical, I wouldn't like to be the first to try it though!! Might be worth trying insurance or taking it back to the shop you bought it from to see if you can get it swapped using the playing dumb card (I turned my phone on today and it just had a blank screen) that worked for mine when it was pre loader busted like this!
Hi!
I'm in the same situation.... i've got an Honor 7 (PK-AL10), i tryed to recover it but when i do fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img the system replies with "error: cannot load 'SYSTEM.img': Value too large for defined data type".
Help me!!
Have anyone tried to connect the phone to a windows PC, and Power+lower volume?
Also you may try with the phone plugged to USB, Power until the phone vibes for booting, wait 5 seconds and then Power again. And then try to boot the fastboot USB connected.
I don´t know but I´ve read in 2~3 places that powering the phone while USB connected sometimes enables booting in dead-phone situations.
First of all, I want to apologize if I put this question in a wrong section or place. I'm a newbie around here at XDA and been following this since my eyes were opened for android stuff. I'M JUST REALLY SEEKING HELP. :crying:
It's been 6 months since I hardbricked my Huawei Y6. I only used it for two weeks but when I messed it up, it's been dead ever since. I have searched almost every corner of Google and XDA for a solution but none of them ever came up with one that is successful. I tried to recover it and sht to no avail. It's a Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) btw, and Qualcomm. Used lots of things like QPST, EMMC DL tool, and whatever those other things are but here's really my problem..
Huawei Y6 has no firmware available online. If there is, only that ****ty UPDATE.APP. I did extract it and I don't know what to do with these files. There's no PROG_EMMC_FIREHOSE_8909.MBN, the PATCH0, and that other one which are what I am supposed to be using with QFIL. Anyway, NO DOWNLOAD MODE, NO RECOVERY MODE, NO FASTBOOT, and completely dead. I did something terrible internally to the device, I know.. messed up the partition table. I did bring it to lots of technicians around here and to the service center but all of them declined and denied me saying that it's dead and must be replaced. But if plugged in to a computer, LED will slowly blink Red. And.. it's detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008.
Please help me.. 6 months = no phone = DEAD. </3 I know that this phone is not that popular because there's not that much things about this online. I really want to have this fixed.. I'm willing to do everything possible in return. Just help me. This is last resort and my only hope. HELP MEEEE. Thank you, XDA.
Update.. I somehow did something nice to it. It now can access fastboot but do not boot.
I got it in progress. Flashed system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, through fastboot flash and erased userdata and cache. If I turn it on, will just vibrate once. Can't enter recovery nor normal boot. But if plugged in, will be detected as Android Bootloader Interface. HELLLPPPPP!!!
And now.. it got even weirder. I flashed all its stock rom files (those that were extracted from UPDATE.APP) and now when booted, LED goes to RED-GREEN-BLUE cycle. What the heck is going on with this phone? It doesn't vibrate anymore and still can't go to recovery.
i also have this phone in same 9008 port condition , is there any solution to revive this ?
how to get the files to flash with QFIL ?
dear all
did you find the solution ??
