The whole point of beta testing a new OS is to work towards making a a stable OS.
Beta testing will have bugs and be unstable.
Well,
1..it is a beta software and the word Beta is all over the place....do with that word as you will
2. If you are on Beta 1, meaning feedback in 1 above does not apply to you since you are not a newbie, then I would say good on. The changes on beta 2, for me, are not that big. I mean, a squiggly line showing playback is not enough to make me move from Android 12L to Android 13 beta 2. But again if you and on Android 13 then this is a continuation of the agenda so nothing hurts to proceed. In any case there is not so much bugs compared to the first one since this is the first public facing beta.

It has been long since a new remix version has been released, and the current version still has bugs and missing feature. Will they release a new version soon?
you can try 'Phoenix Os 1.0.7-binder version'

Edit: Sorry, my mistake thanks for making remix os. You made me happy :-]

I'm using both Remix OS and Phoenix OS. I prefer Phoenix. Phoenix is relatively stable on my system (Acer E1-471 and Sony VAIO VGN-TT36MD). There are still flaws but you can post problems and make requests at the Phoenix forums. Like, when I posted my Ipega Bluetooth Gamepad is not working, the Moderator said support for my gamepad will be added in the next version coming out in 2 weeks. How cool is that?
So, faster development and developers are listening to the users. That's why i prefer Phoenix.

But that's due to the fact that Jide is currently working on a big release than before. There'll be some significant improvements to the system.
And as i got to know in last week, there'll be some 'Big news' in the near future..They're working hard (Also with some partnered companies) to bring few newer features to RemixOs.
But as far as they might be waiting for the right time for Official announcements on those,i thought not spoil things. You know, internal secrets! Just wait and see..

A week ago Jide had stated on twitter that they were still working on the next version of Remix os for pc,so i don't know when it'll be released.
But Android-x86 6.0 1st release candidate was released 2 days ago..It's almost 2 months since the last OTA,So may be they are working on the next big Marshmallow release.
I'm waiting for a big update any soon,my guess is on 20th june or 1st of july??
And there're working on a feature that Chrome is not capable of
I agree they started all of this in the first quarter of 2016 and now we are in the 3rd quarter. I cannot use an OS that does not have sound let alone a lot of other major features were not taalking about minor bugs these are huge issues and they are on the majority of PCS. From what I can see they are doing everything Bass Ackwords by trying to sell thier hardware before fixing the majority of other releases which would get the word out....
My question is will Pheonox OS audio work with baytrail???
I will try it and if it does I will use it and not only that spread the word like wild fire
matter of fact if I can get any android to actually dual boot and actually have audio working that will be the one I use and talk about

That's very good news to hear
I love Remix OS and Phoenix OS because before all of them came out I thought of using Android as a windowed PC OS. I even drew sketches of how the UI would look. And guess what! it is 95% Remix OS!
I'm now already having exams "medicine -_-" and I will finish 30th June so I hope a major release occurs before then.

Okaay.. That's great :') I will download Phoenix OS and will post back the news! Thanks buddies for ur time :")
Phoenix OS is much more stable than Remix OS. Because its code is closer to pure Androidx86 than Remix OS.
Plus, they hear the community and develop the os with them. They occasionally release the updates.
i tested phoenix os.... rotation screen work with phoenix os and no for remix os....but phoenix os wifi don't work for me....i return with remix
Nope, phoenix os not working well on my system, when apps need to run full screen the apps crash, cause no auto hide system bar on phoenix os

"Android 7.1 Nougat will be available by the end of this month in the form of a developer preview according to the official Android blog."
I know a lot of ppl were pissed about pixel phones only getting 7.1 but from this article says we will have a dev preview in October thankfully ????
It's a dev preview though. Not beta or final. Still sucks

Better than not at all
Not doing a dev preview on my main phone. My battery life is bad enough as it is on nougat
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
N dev preview 3/4/5 were totally good for daily usage, 7.1 will probably be very close to 7.0 so I'm almost sure 7.1 dev preview will be usable for daily usage too. Maybe the issue related to battery life will finally be solved too
Is it even a developer preview really when it's already out on the Pixel line up? If anything this seems like it could more like get a bunch of people to test out the new version to find bug fixes for device they are using. Probably why the Nexus 6 got N about a month and half later(unless they are doing releases based on aged and next year 6P and 5X will be last in line to get version updates.
Final release is in December. Don't fret y'all.
We still don't get the Pixel Features...
Source ist the Verge, can't Post URLs...
There's already a thread about 7.1.

Seems Google is struggling with pixel 6 series.
First the critical Dec release was delayed/not yet reached to many ppl.
Secondly, no sign of 12L beta on pixel 6.
All is not well with 6 series.

Google is not struggling with the P6. It is the same thing every year with a new OS and new devices.
Curious to why you want Android 12L, it is geared towards Android tablets.

I think they do, Pixel 6 Dec patch was released 1 week after old devices (Which has not yet reached to mass - Source: https://9to5google.com/2021/12/20/does-your-pixel-6-have-the-december-2021-update-yet-poll/ ).
Android 12L beta 1 was released 2 days after the Dec patch for older devices, on Dec 8. And todays is 22nd Dec (more than a week after "so called" Dec patch release) but no sign of any 12L beta.
No comms or news about 12L beta as well, from google, for Pixel 6 series (apart from "Coming Soon" tag).
Regarding your curiosity: I bought pixel 6 just for regular updates and early access to newer version.

I have downloaded the december release over OTA after searching for updates. Then rolled back to november because of the problems with calls and now the december release is not offered any loger (if i search for updates).
I even think they have stopped it.
If the beta isn't today, I doubt we'll get it. Maybe we have to wait until beta 2.

I personally don't consider it as a mess up. Been getting Google phones since the Nexus 6 with the exception of the Pixel 4. I would only guess that there is going to be a few bumps in the road with something like 6 being that it is a whole new "phone" in sorts if you would call it that. Consider a new type of chip (not been tested much if at all), new fingerprint scanner (For Google its new and it SUCKS), a little larger phone AND I think a large portion of it is consider supply and demand with supplies with building a phone. Google has always aimed for the NEXT best thing, a sort of pioneer. I had the Pixel 5 and it was great for about 6 months then nothing but problems for me. My wife loves her 5 and doesn't like the 6. Although she can handle the little things that drive me nuts with the 5 and she can't stand the trade off for the 6, being larger and the finger print scanner that is limited to 5 unlocks a day before charging (due to the time it takes to get the hamster run fast enough on his wheel). This is just my 2 cents worth and not even worth that most of the time.
If you know of another phone manufacturer, that offers monthly updates (95%) of the time for a min of 2 years, Is vanilla android, and gets new Android versions 1st not to mention unlockable bootloaders for those who have to tinker, don't be greedy! I am sure there is a few of us that would consider trying another phone line up just to try if nothing else. Darn that is another nickels worth . OK I shut up now..
I will be happy to try beta 12L for my android tv devices. Most Android tv boxes are using out dated software.
But for the P6 it is a no for me. I just do not see any benefits for the P6.

ATM not, maybe at this weekend.
Please write here if anyone install it. I have no WiFi for a third day, so I am thinking if installing 12L. Just want to be sure it's OK for a daily use. Main topics - how's WIFI, how's camera, how's battery life compare to regular 12 build. Thanks in advance!

Maybe google is paying so much attention developping 12l that they forget to release stable android 12 updates...
I have already installed Android 12L. So fat Wi-Fi is working fine. Will give feedback after few days how's everything else.

Not buggy at all for me.
The main version might be just around the corner. So might as well wait another week or two for that. Else you'll have to do it all over again.
Android 13 stable release to AOSP has a default security patch level of 2022-09-01, so it likely won't get released until September.
I am planning to wait because a few apps that I use will need to catch up to Android 13.
It's in beta, and like all betas, it's not quite ready for public release. If you want to try the new Android, go for it, but don't expect it to be stable or functional enough for a daily driver, much less perfect.
It seems as stable as my Samsung S20 was.
I didn't run my P6 with Android 12, I went straight from a Galaxy S20 (with Android 12) to the P6 with Beta 13.
The current beta 13 is very stable, but I do hit a snag every now and then. I use it as my daily driver.... and like I said, it's as stable as my S20 was....And I prefer 13 over 12.
It's not buggy at all for me. Works great!
+1 Works great.

Yes
It's stable and better than 12.
Get it in, jump.
I am on the latest Beta and see very few if any bugs. It solved most of my complaints about the P6 on 12. Fingerprint reader is improved (I'd give it a B now). The only thing that has not improved (so I suspect it is hardware) is my cellular reception. I think it is just the older modem they used. I get less reception in many areas compared to my work iPhone sitting right next tot he P6. Sometimes there is no data coming down on the P6 and iPhone works fine.
Thinking about getting the Pixel 6 or 6A if it gets discounted at the end of the year, just wanted to know, any bugs? My brother used a OnePlus and said there were many bugs, but I honestly think its because its OnePlus. Any bugs, issues? Thanks.
Currently a iPhone SE 2 user and its BADDD.
android 13? lots of complaints, its really hit or miss on quality control
same with android 12.
more then any other phone? no idea..
but you should expect better out of a flagship device from the "leader" in android development devices.

BS, it is like this every year with new devices.
Most problems are caused by the user.
