I'm thinking about getting a Nord N200 and I would want to install Magisk on it. I'm not interested in installing TWRP, I just want Magisk. I know that to install Magisk you need an image of the boot ROM. Where can I get that from? Thanks!
Is this site legit for firmware?

I have an OPPO smartphone which I want to make changes i.e. rooting, upgrading to Android Pie but OPPO is not developer friendly( I regret buying it)?.. Fortunately, OPPO has stock rom downloadable from their site. Unfortunately though, the version of the rom that is downloadable from their site is far behind the current version of my phone. What I am planning to do is, when a new update is available, download it and patch it myself so It will be accepted during upgrading from recovery. My question is, is it possible? the stock rom comes in ozip file but I am able to edit its contents using zarchiver. I hope anyone can help. Thank You
An update.zip ( AKA OTA ) must contain an updater script, too, what is parsed and processed by Revovery function. In current case it would be your task to create it.

It is just the original stock boot.img.
And this same file patched by magisk too.
It can help you to "install" or "uninstall" magisk on your Motorola One Macro.
Good luck
No this section, my friend
this post does not correspond to the section for Motorola one (deen)
It is in correct section. Because moto one macro (lima) is a variant of moto one.

After the Magisk changes, we need the recovery.img to patch to have it be installed. Does anyone have a copy or know how to get a copy of our boot.img?

No, you simply need to patch boot.img - then flash the patched img by fastboot or TWRP (I do and use the latest official 3.5.1_9.0 davinci)
And of course, while patching do not tick Recovery mode option, and flash to the Boot partition (since you are patching boot, not recovery img)
I'm on Xiaomi.eu A11 beta since December, updated through each and every Xiaomi.eu weekly and each Magisk Canary since then.
Every time patching boot.img (you will find in Xiaomi.eu zip) and got the Magisk root with no problem whatsoever.
Currently on the latest Xiaomi.eu 21.4.1 (last Thursday) and Magisk Canary 22007 (released yesterday), as always patched the boot.img and Magisk works with no problem
Btw, read (and follow) the existing thread about Xiaomi.eu weeklies also here for Mi 9T, Guides:

There are also at least two guides here on our Mi 9T forum about installing Magisk by patching boot.img
They were from the times of MIUI 11 or 12 and Magisk v20 or v21, probably not updated/commented about MIUI 12.5 and Magisk v22, but generally the same coockbook still applies (patching the boot.img and flashing)

Also, with a unlocked bootloader you will not be able to install OTA updates, to do that, you can either relock bootloader with the help of this video:
Or you can install OTA updates with unlocked bootloader, with the help of this video:
Note that you do not need root for the installation, and you can boot into recovery using ADB commands, you cannot do it with the buttons with unlocked bootloader.
Sorry for late response.
