Does anybody know how to fix the persist.img file? I followed some tutorial from a thread and was unaware that it would break the fingerprint sensor, would be cool if someone provided me with a backup of the persist.img file so I could fix my phone's fingerprint sensor.
I had this problem for a while and I got to live without the fp sensor. Service's the only option as there's no known solution for this issue.
I also had few users giving me backups of the persist partition but that didn't work...

Anyone else having difficulty unlocking via the bio reader? It works but seems to be ALOT less sensitive than 1.8.3. I can scan them in (the fingerprints ) just fine but can't get an unlock with them afterwards. I've read stuff in the htkw build but I think that is reader not working. This is my only hangup so far. Running Kens rom if that makes a difference. Thanx much
Did you use titanium backup to restore you settings?
if so your probably gonna need to fastboot the system img for 2.3.4.
Or you could try to reinstall fingerprint reader service.
This is seriously bugging me ever since someone mentioned the PDS partition was a culprit for not being able to update PRL/Data profile, and can cause other issues with the phone. I do not know of anyway to restore the partition as I don't have any nandroid backups.
Looking with a root browser, its empty, im not sure if the files are hidden in some way, but I'm able to view /system/ , but nothing appears in /pds/
No one has had this issue or knows what it means?
I'd also like the answer to this. I had it working fine on a different rom, then flashed CM9 to it and since then haven't been able to get it to update, even with my lock code and MSID and programming manually. I also don't have any backups..

Still searching for a fix for this...cmon xda...please save the day!
I understand that the pds partition has information that is unique to each phone. Would there be a way for someone to upload their pds without their personal information and then I could fill in the blanks with mine? Then could I flash it to my phone?
Flash the PDS partition fix from the Atrix forums to create the partition, then hopefully someone will be kind enough to either share us their PDS files or tell us how to edit our own.
This is what worked for me...

My friend's TF201 has this problem but never had it back when he had rooted stock (.28, I believe). We decided to unlock, did nvflash, flashed TWRP, and then flashed EOS #43 with no problems. But suddenly we can't write to his internal storage whether it's by moving files or creating a folder. We tried deleting the sample photos in the pictures folder that Asus put there and we can't seem to delete them. When we tried taking a screenshot, the error in the title appears. It seems to me like something is blocking us from writing to the internal storage because it's "in use"... whatever that means.
I've tried Googling this topic and it's mentioned in a few forums but no one has a solid solution. The very few times it's been mentioned, people talk about relocking the device and then unlocking again. As far as I know we can't relock out TF201s.
Has anyone had this problem before? Or does anyone have any idea what this is all about and how we can fix this?
TIA!
Problem solved! The /data partition was broken so we had to do a complete full wipe. Thanks to everyone in #asus-transformer for the help!
I have found a solution. You have to format the /sdcard inside recovery. I also formatted the external sdcard, but I don't think that was the problem. I hope this helps.

I recently rooted my redmi note 4. After root I used the phone for some days without any issue. But, After updating of the application Device Emulator Pro I am facing wifi not found issue. Now I am unable to find any wifi which is nearby me.
I tried entering SSID and password also, but not working. So, is there anybody to help me out. I will be thankful to the expert. Thanks.
Inside description of the XPosed module Device Emulator Pro it's highly recommended to create a backup of device first before using it. Did you?
No. I didn't create a backup. This my mistake. But now is it possible to fix the issue without that backup file?

May be a Factory Reset helps.
Hello partners
I leave you this youtube tutorial on how to make a backup if the partition persists in .img format, since no one has realized that, when flashing some custom roms, that partition is damaged as it happened to me and I have not was able to fix it since in the firmware redmi note 10 no longer brings persist.img, if someone managed to create a backup of the persis partition, I would be grateful if they shared it.
