I just got one for free from a friend who recently passed away, but when pop in a SIM it doesn't pick any type of signal and ask for the original SIM that came with the item, so I wonder if there is a way to unlock it?

Hello everyone, I am new to the community, it happened that months ago I bought a used cell phone, I was surprised that I could not make calls, or answer them, due to a problem with the "Telephone" application, at the time that I want to answer a simple call I cannot, the cell phone is left in the option of answering or rejecting, I slide to one of these options and nothing happens, it does not answer and the call is lost. At the moment I make a call I can't, I try to make it and it remains in "calling" and then saying "call ended" I realized there that when I want to hang up instantly when I try to call it is that it takes several seconds and then it jumps to "call finished "to hang up, but it doesn't hang up instantly like I've seen with other cell phones I've had. Personally, I tried everything, resetting to factory, flashing rom, installing root, and even so, it remains the same, I need to say that just yesterday I could make a call, and after doing some others I stayed the same, and when I wanted Answer the same, I could not, I am attaching some videos so that you can see the problem in detail.
The cell phone is an Orbic Wonder RC555L, with 16GB of Storage and 2GB of RAM, everything on the cell phone is useful except that, the calls. I don't think it is a connection problem, or that it has been blocked by IMEI because SMS messages I can do normally, I don't know if it is an internal failure or something, or that the dialer files are damaged. I can also use the data for the internet, and as I have said before using SMS messages, all that works normally, the only thing is that, the calls.

Hi, I like to keep a phone in my car mostly for the rear camera but do not want to leave it on standby.
Is there a way to power it on once it is charging and switch it off if it is not charging anymore?

Hi there,
I could not find any Thread, that is answering my question and maybe I have to tell you something why I am asking:
I've got a new CarpeIter V4 Pad, which is basically a Soten T71 with a custom Android 9 from the CarpeIter Team
the magnetic field sensor is constantly off after a reboot of the device
none of my other android devices are doing that
I can recalibrate the magnetic field sensor every time, but to be honest: It's driving me crazy and it it totally annoying ... and currently I am asking myself: How and where is the calibration data stored? I mean wouldn't it be possible to save the calibration data somewhere and restore it on boot? And maybe add a schedule for the user to recalibrate it?
The question sounds maybe somehow naive to you guys, but as far as I can see there are many people with huge knowhow in this forum, so who don't ask don't get an answer

I found a "mag_bias.json" in "/mnt/vendor/nvcfg/sensor/" ... and I've tried to change values but the compass is still totally of after a reboot ...
Then I copied the "mag_bias.json" to "mag_cali.json", made changes, but no result on the compass
I don't know if this post belongs here.

Today we had a nationwide security check in Germany.
The sirens wailed and notifications were sent to all mobile phones.
I don't know if I was the only one who had this phenomenon, but after I confirmed the message, my phone was unlocked.
Did other users also notice this?
My phone still has android 10
Am I just configuring my device wrong or is this a security hole?
