You know that It isn't the correct section, don't you?
so why ask for it here??
Galaxy Ace has an ARMV6 processor, it is too old for current heavy games, roms are modifyed to get the best balance between this 2 topic, you can barebone it, doing OC your performance might be reduced...

Hello I bought a Chinese cell, Mlais MX58 Air, but its UI is limited to 32 FPS, is there any way to unlock or limit to 60 FPS?
Could do this by modifying the kernel? You can modify a kernel or pick up another device and add my information?
I would try to use this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2249808
Here comes the Android 4.2.1 ROM with full Project Butter experience with UI running @ 60+ FPS* making our W8 a real beast!

Any suggestions or is it better to give up and buy another device?
Thank you.

You would have to use a kernel made for that device. Another kernel from a different device will not work on yours But as China almost never releases the kernel source for their devices you maybe out of luck.

A while ago was released the source code of MTK6589, that serve?
Just wanted to add 60 FPS in the UI, nothing more.

That's is a chipset. Not the kernel. They are 2 completely different things.

To be honest yes. You are better off not getting a clone device or anything really with that chipset as it is mostly never supported after bought and has no after market support.
Understand... than you know any launcher that runs at 60 fps?
Because this is the only thing that bugs me.
Thanks for the replies man.
I dont think launchers change the fps but try out Apex Launcher for a smoother experience.
It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

The screen on time for me is around 8 hours at max, that if do not listen to a lot of music in the background.
Miui can give that battery performance, but it's hard for it to achieve it.
Instead, we have some really nice custom roms and kernel that give that and even more.
I could get 10 hours and a half of screen on time on miuipro with akt profiles apk and some tweaks made with lspeed/hebf (i don't remember which one but they are somewhat the same).
In a normal day , you can achieve 5-7 hours of SOT .
thank u very much.... maybe i am going to buy it and use it with custom rom.... something like resurrection remix or similar high featured roms
can the qc 3.0 feature work also with custom roms?

Of course. Maybe not all the roms have it, but the official ones, they have qc 3.0 definitely.
5-7.5 hours depending on usage/rom/kernel.

This article was published by GSMarena in regards to the recent review they done on the Xiaomi Mi 8, after reading, I'm interested in what you guys think
I think mi 8 has a bad cooling
GSMARENA butt-hurt. Ignored..

It seems that way, maybe Custom ROM's & kernels can help out in the future

I don't think this article was bad against the Mi 8, I think they just tried to give a explanation for the benchmarks in the review
does it actually have bad thermal dissipation? bad review unit ?
I wonder since some people still waiting on how to achieve 300k antuntu score.

Apparently Xiaomi have capped the Snapdragon 845 because of thermal issues, which I imagine is heat dissipation yes

No offense, the benckmark tools is a gimmick thing. I personally don't care benchmark stuff included like AMD or NVIDIA. They're well paid by OnePlus & others too.
Dont know how gsmarea get such a bad score. I was on 9.5 Stable with my Mi8 and got about 269.000 points. With Miui10 Open Beta i havent tested, will try it later.

One guy achieved 290k on MIUI 10 China beta version so I think we can achieve it when we get the MIUI 10 stable build. Cause when mi6 was announced they told that it can achieve 182k but it even got 200k antutu score so I think there's a problem with the rom I guess. With custom roms it will perform like a beast.
I got from GSM Arena article that Mi8 is tuned for sustained performance and actual real world performance also, as after 10-15 minutes it even improved from 75% to 77%, but other Snapdragon 845 processors are tuned for benchmarks 5-10 mimutes performance and after that they fall down hard with crazy throttling...

But the performance loss increased until the device was cooled down completely, that isn't sustaining performance?

Following can be Problem
1.Youtube app is outdated
2.You patched YouTube so it's not working
3.You upgraded your phone now it's not working
4.You haven't rebooted Phone for too long
5.Battery is too low
6.Using a Custom ROM
7.Flashed something Wrong
According to you , What is the problem ?
Hi there,
Although i'm using Mi Mix, not RN5 and such, but i'll share my experience.
It happened to me when i'm using MIUI ROM that build date higher than 02 August.
When i'm using ROM that build date lower than that, everything is good.
