Could you please let me know how can i do this, I am trying to find it myself too but if anycase you have tried please let me know, Do i need to do it even when I am trying to do stock recovery ?
I don't see what installing TWRP 2.5 has anything to do with this install. OP is installing stock ROM with odin which means stock recovery.
You should be using Odin to do the install as instructed in the link. I don't understand why the stock recovery is even showing after a restart or why the you would toggle it after a flash.

Let me draw you a picture. Flash TWRP with Odin. Let it root the phone. Use TWRP to flash the rom, stock or custom.
Installing stock anything doesn't mean stock recovery. Odin is used when phone is in download mode.
But the ROM he is flashing is a stock.tar. That can only be flashed with odin. Custom recovery has nothing to do with it and will not help him achieve what he is wanting to do. OP has even mentioned he wants stock recovery. What he is doing in stock recovery after flashing the ROM with Odin has me baffled.
I don't know why "Install TWRP" is the answer to all problems on this forum. Running the updated CWM has suited me just fine and has been able to flash any ROM I wanted to try.
anyone know why even when i flash with odin back to stock firmware it just bootloops i can only flash custom roms please help

I have the same issue with the NE4 update and not be able to downgrade makes custom roms the only option. i was wondering if a flashing a backup would still be considered trying to downgrade the boot loader. I realized when i flash the NE4 it has no OS which is why it bootloops. When i flash with TWRP and go to reboot... it asks if im sure i want to reboot no OS installed... cant remember the exact wording but even worse cant understand why there is no OS after flash. No one seems to have answers or even want to touch the issue.
Hello Everyone,
I know that this is an old phone but could you please help me to install a stock rom or one that will work.
The problem
The phone is stuck in a boot-loop the person who asked me to look at it said that have been happening since the phone fell very hard.
What I did
I managed to get the HTC dev unlocked and flash cwm recovery (the latest version). At present the phone can only boot in recovery and the bootloader.
What I would like to do next
I would like to flash a rom anyone that can work with the current firmware, I think I will be able to update it from there.
So please any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
The real problem here is that the latest firmware does not have a RUU (the HTC firmware restoration file)... CWM is not really recommended anymore, you should change to the latest TWRP, then I would recommend flashing the ROM from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2260154
It is as close to stock as you can get in a non-bootable state. Remember that when you flash a rom on this device well it is S-ON, you must manually flash the boot image with fastboot.
Hey guys, i have a Acer Iconia B1-721 That has android 4.2.2 on it. It has a virus that infected the whole system. If i do a factory reset the virus still exists on the device. I tried flashing it with a spft image i found here, but it seems like its bootloader is still locked because spft gives a error and phone disconnects.
I pushed the system.img to the device using adb but it only caused the tab to stop booting. Now i cant use anything but the stock recovery to flash a stock rom. But the 4.4 stock rom for stock recovery does not get picked up by the recovery.
So i ask, is there anyone that can help me with the 4.2.2 stock rom for stock recovery or the test point to force flash with SPFT.
Thanx in advance.
Please guys, i really need your help.
Bump, please experts, help a guy to fix his tab.
I need to bump this again.
If no one can help me with the ROM or test point, can someone please tell me how I can flash the 4.4 ROM with stock recovery? Maybe i'm doing something wrong.
I'm relying on this to revive this phone.
Hi,
I have a problem with my ZTE Nubia V18. I have a custom recovery but today, my phone is stuck on bootloop and don't want to boot.
I have searched for a flash tool with stock rom, but all I find is just update.zip and and can't flash it with flash tool.
Now, I need to get back to the stock recovery, but I can't find it on internet.
Did anyone have it?
Thanks by advance
