Hi, I own a samsung galaxy A31F, I rooted it back in April of 2021 and decided to not update till android 12 comes out. I downloaded the firmware from samfrew and everything went perfectly until I opened the phone and found out that my IMEI is "unknown".
Both of them are, I have tried every method to restore them.
Including re flashing android again with root or without it. Nothing seems to work I tried apps.
I tried to use Xposed.
IMEI flashing software for PC.
Nothing seems to work and I would really appreciate it if someone decides to help.
Thanks.

Hello.
I have a problem which annoys me a lot for a half a year now. Here's the story:
I bought my S3 from secondhand in 2012. It was Android 4.1.2. I was complete newbie that day. When update came off, I wanted to update it via my phone, bu then i threw errors. then i tried it via Kies but also did not managed to. I googled the problem and saw that I am rooted. I listened to people, who said that I should use Odin to upgrade my firmware, So did I. Downloaded latest firmware from sammobile.com. i did everything following the tutorial, but I got the network problem - no connection to the service - no sms, calls, 3g and so on. Only wifi. Then I spend three days trying to google out the problem. Tried almost everything, but as I didint had any backups made for my EFS, and my IMEI was "unknown" as phone said, I assumed that there is nothing i can do there. So I gave phone to the repair service. They fixed it in a day. I got it with the old 4.1.2 firmware version and enjoyed my phone like a year for now. And immediately backed up EFS.
So today I thought that im very bored with this old 4.1.2 and encouraged myself to try upgrade it again. So as I have efs backup, (I also did modem backup) I tried downloading latest 4.3 fimware from sammobile again. (as Im from Lithuania, there is no firmwared for LT, so I downloaded Croatian, because the carrier was the same (Tele2). And here I go again. No network, only wifi. I tried to restore efs, modem - no change with network (Did not managed to recover modem corectly, Odin fails when i want to recover it). then I tried several modems from Perkas file Stash, which i managed install via Odin, but still no change. I truly tried almost every app ant searched every thread in this forum for solution.
Now I tried to flash in to 4.1.2 I9300XXEMG4 firmware. And now im stuck with Samsung logo, mobile does not even turn on.
Any solutions? I will apprecaite any information. Thanks
There is no single solution, once the efs is damaged only a reputable repair centre can recode it properly. If it comes back with 4.1 then it isn't hasn't been fixed properly.

Hey people,
I have a big problem and I am a big noob what contains to software, hardware is my thing.
Lets get straight to the point......
I have rooted my device(Kingzone K2) with Kingroot on Android lolipop 5.1.
the first time i tried to root it would not work because my phone had a unknown version of android or something like that, so i reported that to kingroot and a month later they made it possible to root on my device.
now I have rooted my device but I started up my phone and all of a sudden my phone was reset to factory setting.
I thought it would have been a accident with android devicemanager.
And up following I wanted to download apps and stuff but it gave me the error that Android.procces.media was stopped.
And the apps wont download I tried everything to download them, also camera and gallery wont work for the same reason.
So can someone please help me with this problem.......
Thanks.
Hi everyone, i think during my attempts to upgrade my tablet from root marshmallow i messed or currupted the modem.
I had rooted marshmallow, then i installed twrp. I then tried to install lineage os, it went in a perpetual bootloop so i installed one of the modems for nouget. After that the bootloops stopped, but the tablet wont see the sim, and the baseband info is blank.
I also cant restore using a kdz as lgup wont recognize the device, i even tried uppercut and it sees it as unknown device, i have tried the different dll tricks without success.
does anyone have any advice?
after spending 2 days and finaly posting, was able to fix by doing a nandroid of marshmallow and flashing a marshmallow rom.
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone is able to point me in the right direction.
I have an S9 Plus with TWRP installed and DevBase v5.9 as the ROM. I have made two backups using TWRP, one from when I first got the phone and a more recent one (within the last week).
When I first got the phone I removed a lot of the bloatware that came with it (Samsung stuff and other junk). After using the phone for a while I realized I needed to keep a couple of the Samsung apps, mostly Samsung Themes and Galaxy Apps (to keep other Samsung Apps up to date). This is where the problems first began.
I restored the backup I made when I first got the phone because I didn't remove any of the bloatware. The backup restored without any problems, I started updating apps, getting it back to the way I had it and noticed I didn't have any reception. I tried to make a phone call and it displayed an error "Not registered on network". I thought something went wrong during the restore, so I tried to restore the phone with the more recent backup I had. That, too, gave me the same message. I checked the IMEI number it was displaying 0000000000000/01. Definitely not my IMEI.
I tried my SIM card in another phone and it worked without any problem. I tried my partners SIM card in my phone and it displayed the same 0000000000000/01 IMEI. I downloaded the latest stock firmware for the phone in an attempt to try and get it back to normal, however, even on stock android it displays 0000000000000/01 IMEI.
So I'm in a sticky situation at the moment. Is there any way to recover from this problem?

Same here +1. Anyone has solution to this ? Please help ... I'm stuck in this since last month.
I tried a custom firmware but it didn't work and my phone kept restarting on boot. After 2 days I ended up installing an original firmware but my Samsung services more importantly "secure folder" is not working due to security reasons. I was wandering if you could help me fix that. My phone is A7 2018
I tried cash erasing and flashing my phone with an official rom. it has the latest update.
but still the problem is remained.
