Hello! Yesterday i was trying to flash CrDroid 7 Based on Android 11 on my Xiaomi Redmi 8A (olivelite), and i was greeted by an error message stating:
"Updater process ended with ERROR:255
Error installing zip file..."
I have installed the latest version of TWRP, as well as flashed Magisk. Should i switch recoveries such as OrangeFox? Should i try reflashing the firmware? Any thoughts?
Device: Xiaomi Redmi 8A (olivelite)
TWRP Version: TWRP 3.6.1_9-20220307
Magisk Version: 24.3 (24300)

Try this recovery. I tried the exact same recovery as you did and got the same error. This happens because that recovery is 32-bit and you are trying to flash a 64-bit rom (I read this somewhere on this forum and got this recovery here as well).

Hi all,
Recently on the official page LineageOS for microG has been published a new rom for Hotdog.
When I try to flash it, during the process 47% appears the following error "update package verification took 38.5".
I'm using Oneplus 7t pro mclaren edition 4g hotdog with lineage os and lineageos recovery.
Thanks in advance
I found the solution to avoid the error during the flashing installing twrp as recovery.
With the lineage recovery it does not work.

Hello everyone, sorry I couldn't find specific thread for my device so I had to ask here. Anyone knows how I can get and install twrp on redmi 10 (selene) running android 12 MIUI global 13.0.2 stable(SKUTWXM)? I searched everywhere and couldn't find the right twrp image. I'm intending to install custom rom for my device but haven't found twrp recovery, also I'm not intending to root my device thanks all for help in advance. Just to add if there's another way to flash rom without recovery would help thanks!

anx camera heavily depends from the ROM configurations, MIUI core and libs for it to work. those need to be built into the ROM in default
pixel experience does not have any of it applied for the MIUI camera to work, so sadly you cannot use MIUI camera
some roms have maintainers that apply them, like:
project elixir, cherish os, ancient os and superior os (and more that i dont remember of)
