I'm not using crDroid yet.
But if EvoX is build on same sources (?) I had some weird battery issues too.

First time installing crDroid to your ENTER-PHONE-NAME, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Try to upgrade the firmware version And wipe the cache, system, data.
20190513 Changelog:
* Build with 4.9 kernel
* kernel: upstreamed to 4.9.175
* May security patch
After updating this ROM, the phone starts well.
But I'm facing two errors.
1..internet connection error
2. After a few minutes,. the phone reboots automatically again and again.
What can I do?
P.S I have wiped cache, system, all data: even the internal storage.

Thanks, my pal.
All are well after flashing this modem.
Very thankful to you.
I flashed the crDroidAndroid-9.0-20190528-tiffany-v5.4.zip image to my Mi 5X using TWRP but the device just boots up to a black screen. Eventually it plays sounds as if booted and plays sounds when I press the power button, but still no display.
I do have tiffany bootloader.
Can anyone give advice on the above?
could you please upload the kernel file ?

No Moto Actions and AOD ...
???
I had two doubts.
On the official website the download is out, this one from Gdrive is the same, will you receive updates via OTA?
Is it just me or is the BitGApps 11 download not working?
CrDroid is excellent, thanks for everything! (Sanders here \o)

I did not get to move much, because I was not able to download BitGApps, I had to go back to CrDroid 6.x until the download started working again. The only thing I tested was the digital TV and it is working perfectly!
Are you able to download BitGApps? The download is not starting on their website.
I used OpenGapps.
BitGapps download isn't working for me either.
Hello,
I have tried to use the "Airplane Mode".
Basically its working, but when I disable the mode the connection to the mobile network is not working.
I have to restart it. It's not working in 7.0 and also in 7.1

I've not had any bootloop problems with 7.1, however, the Maps app opens and then immediately closes on my phone here in the U.S. I don't know what moddl number it is though.

Still not really sure about this since only thing we got is GSI and I suspect the method is not the same as flashing a GSI. I believe we need a custom recovery in order to flash PE, is that correct?

Wipe -> advanced wipe -> wipe system, data, dalvik and cache
[Go back to recovery home page]
Install -> select ROM zip and flash it

Maybe you could make a pdf or a blog about how to flash this rom and also links for recovery. It would be great. Thanks.
Thank for your work! Can it be rooted with Magisk?
What advantage does it offer over miui 12?
Is this stable rom?
I'm new in custom rom, i'm using gsi bt that is not good so much!!
I play pubg!! So i need a gaming rom & Karnel.
wow finally a proper custom rom that's not GSI for our device!
thank you so much, i will try this later when i have free time.
cheers!
Advice from me: (if this modification is your)
Remove Gapps and users will he choose if they want it because it's important to have users more ram on your custom rom than original xiaomi miui rom.

I flashed this rom 2 days ago
So far so good, no bugs detected, in my opinion, the performance and battery are better than A12 and A13 stock rom
I had no issued with bank apps or some other app, and I still have all the personalization options that Crdroid offers me, and stock does not. CR is one of my favorite rom's, so I think I will remain in this rom for a while, testing it.
after flashing gapps wifi no longer works. it connects to the network but none of the apps detect the wifi connection.

hye, i install crdroid 8.9 since released. i applied magisk with zygisk and modules from displax (safetynet fork of kdragon). it shows pass cts profile however the widevine still L3.
magisk module installed:
1) https://github.com/Displax/safetynet-fix/releases
Which recovery to use? Sideloading ends with "Denying OTA because it's SPL downgrade".
Installed crdroid 9.0, mind-the-gapps and magisk 25.2. I installed the "Universal SafetyNet Fix" v2.4.0.
When I run SafetyNet Status, I get "CTS profile match" = "fail"
Its different on my pixel 6 with same magisk and same safetynet fix. Any idea how to solve this?
Location not working and safety net fail

Install Instructions
Make sure you are on OneUI 5 firmware (C bootloader or newer) before flashing this ROM, otherwise the installation might fail or not boot!
Make sure your device's bootloader is unlocked.
If not done before, flash blank VBMeta with Odin in AP slot.
Make sure to have the latest available version of TWRP/OrangeFox installed.
If wanted, backup all your necessary partitions (super, boot, vendor_boot, data, EFS) before flashing this in case something goes wrong.
Download the PE build for your device from the link below.
Flash the PE zip using the "Install" button.
Format data in TWRP/OrangeFox as the very last thing, otherwise you may end up in a bootloop if coming from stock ROM.
Wipe metadata and cache partitions. This only has to be done once when you install PE.
