VoLTE on Z5 compact.

Hi.
Which firmware supports VoLTE ?
My provider supports VoLTE, but the firmware needs to support it as well, so I would like to know if any version of marshmallow firmware supports it.
Thanks

All recent FW of Z5C supports VoLTE, but your provider needs to have gotten a proper configuration for Z5C in order to enable it. There are som many configurations for VoLTE out there in the phone networks that there is not a single solution for all. Talk to your provider to see if VoLTE is enabled for you in Z5C, and from when.

"Hi!
I can't guarantee the stability of the patch, as I don't have the correct modem configuration to the operator.
Below I give a link to the patch for E5823 (fw 0.160 /Nougat).
androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298977068
1. Install the patch.
2. You need to choose a modem in accordance with its operator. (amss_fsg_suzuran_india_tar.mbn & amss_fsg_suzuran_reliance_jio_ims_tar.mbn)
You need to install QuickShortcutMaker, then open it to make a shortcut using the app then go to Customisation Selector \ Modem Switcher. Open Modem Switcher and select modem according to your network operator. If the selection of the modem's cellular network is not, then restart the phone.
3. You also need to restore the access point default to the new profile activated! ( Settings>More>Mobile network>APN>Reset to default )
If VoLTE doesn't work, you will have to edit the settings nvitem in QXDM."

Xperia X VoLTE

Hi guys, here in my city and another ones near recently we have some carriers with VoLTE enabled. I was thinking about reasons that Xperia X don't have VoLTE enabled... I tested in another phones that i have and it works perfectly. The SOC is a snapdragon 650 wich supports VoLTE and HD Voice features, also VoWiFi, according GSMArena it also supports 700MHz band, wich is the one that we have VoLTE here... I'm leting something scape? I also tried some build.prop configs what give-me some "toggles" access "Enable VoLTE" in network settings, i've set to enabled but isn't... So, our stock software don't have any implementation for VoLTE? I've already research about and don't find any satisfactory information...
Thank you,
Luiz
Some providers enable the Volte on the sim only if they see the sim is in a supported phone by them, if its enabled by default on the sim then the phone has to have selected the right modem. You should check to see if sony has specific firmware for your provider here: https://xpericheck.com/device/F5121 , and if it does you should flash the specific firmware if not your only way to make it work is to change some stuff in build..prop and check different modems (you can google to see how its done) and maybe you are in luck that some other provider has the same modem settings with your provider.
1. Check to see if your SIM has Volte enabled on it or you have a way to enable it (some providers auto activate it if they see the sim is in a phone accepted by them and for some you need to send an SMS or something to activate it )
2.Check on xpericheck if there is a specific firmware for your provider (if yes you should flash that , or just flash the customization file) and if not
3. Enable volte in build.prob then test different modems maybe you get lucky (only if you have root)
The phone supports Volte and it works smooth if your provider and sony released a firmware version for it.
I already try to enable VoLTE on build.prop, also searched for modems but no good results. I'm using TIM operator in Brazil on F5122, the only modem for TIM is from another Sony model, and not working yet...

Non root call recording through adb?

Hi,
I own a Samsung Galaxy S10 lite Dual Sim SM-G770F and Baseband G770FXXS3CTI1and Service provider SW ver. SAOMC_SM-G770F_OXM_PHE_QQ_0012RF8N21MRDVJ PHE/PHE,PHE/XSG.
AFAIK the ROM is not multi CSC, if possible, I would like to know:
* Is there a CSC unbranded Spanish stock ROM for this phone model?
* Is it possible to enable call recording through adb for non root phones? I know I may lose the setting on reboot.
The phone came with an unbranded stock rom from Arab Emirates and I swapped it by the Spanish one but there's no way to enable phone call recording from Call app menus.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advanced,

AFAIK there's some settings, environment vars or whatever which can enable or disable this settings/option.
Also, I've read CSC is responsible for this kind of settings according to one's region laws. So I'm pretty sure there must be a way to accomplish this kind of changes without rooting as the phone does according to CSC values.
Hope someone can bring some light on this topic.
Thank u so much!

(Need Help) Sony Xperia 1 SOV40 Flash into J8110 (but does not have voLTE in Malaysia)

I tried to flash Sony Xperia 1 SOV40 into J8110 Global Rom, but does not have voLTE available for Malaysia
Someone told that can mix SEA version sin with Global Version sin, i have tried to move the modem.sin (All three from J9110 SEA version) into the J8110 but still not working
seeking for any advice to make voLTE work
Thanks and appreciated
You can try Customized JP OEMs.
Don't need to do the modems Just flash the OEMs only.
It will definitely work.
I have J91110 and it worked for me.
If you already have the files than thats fine.
If NOT you start it with the XperiFIrm and start download. When it says downloading 3 of 3 then stop downloading.
Open Flashtool and Use Files Decrypt to extract the OEMs.
Just flash anything with the name OEM using newflasher.

even VoLTE feature is available. As I know, Umobile and Yes4G may not work excepts other sims. If only your Xperia 1 is from Au/Softbank set.

Malaysian here, which global ROM your guy using? I try all j8110 ROM + OEM still can't get the volte
Interesting, I've tried flashing OEM files from customized JP/SEA/UK into my J8110 variant, but still can't get VOLTE working, I tried flashing JP oem files, all it gave me is a corrupted bootloader, (I figured it may have been caused by flashing 3 different firmwares onto my device) , My last option is to factory reset it.
Thanks for this, I have an Xperia 1 AU KDDI Japan SOV40 flashed with J8110 UK Firmware, and flashed Customized Japan OEM for volte, now volte working, by the way I'm from the Philippines and I use DITO Telecommunity SIM which they don't have 2G and 3G Networks, only 4G and 5G that's why to use calls you need VOLTE Enabled on your device.

Where did you get OEM from? Still try a solution how to make it work but still haven't found any better steps to do since I'm afraid of bootloop or something else.
Now I see that 5G are officially announced before, a lot of telcos had to discontinued 2G and 3G networks. 2G network in Malaysia will stop working soon. Not sure when it is.

I just installed Customized JP OEM by following on the first page's instruction before I formatted my phone. But nothing changed. After that, I tried formatting my phone without flashing oem but the result shows nothing about VoLTE. So, I just keep using it without VoLTE function because I don't wanna take a risk to install it again due to afraid of having a bootloop if I feel hesitated to make it work.
But, I will try to find another way to fix that problem soon if I got one.
I recently buy Xperia 1 SOV40 single sim. Seller say that Umobile and YES doesn't work in this model. I try insert Umobile sim and can be use to call and internet. I not sure about VoLTE. Do I need to flash any firmware to make sure Umobile get VoLTE? Or SOV40 not support Umobile VoLTE frequency?
Please help me with Volte,
Really need it

AU P20 Lite

Hello! Hope you're doing well!
Recently my dad came back from japan and brought a AU P20 Lite he had there. It is running AU's ROM, which blocks any SIM card outside japan I think.
I'm pretty new to changing and custom ROM's, tried researching and doing it on my own but to no avail. If any of you can shine some guiding lights it would be appreciated. Im not looking to install a custom ROM, just the stock, and I don't mind losing data on the phone because it is already factory reset.
Waiting anxious for your answers, thank you!

Hello, for a fee only. You can use dc-unlocker or hcu-client to get the NCK code (10-15$).
You can check the SIM Lock status via the Project Menu. Dial * # * # 2846579 # * # *, then select Network Information Query > SIM Lock Info. Also check your Vendor Country Info.
So changing the ROM is out of the way?

It won't help.
(Keep in mind that you can only install ROMs for your regional variant (Cxxx) - it can be found in your build number (Settings> About phone) ).
