1) Sound problems. Settings - Phh Treble Settings - Misc features - Disable audio effects
2) 120 Hz screen. Settings - Phh Treble Settings - Misc Feature - Force FPS - 120
3) Hide the PHH Treble Settings section in settings. adb shell "pm disable me.phh.treble.app/.TopLevelSettingsActivity"

The system is available for writing, you can put the apk to priv-app folder

Do you get the White Android bootanimation, or only sony's logo?
Does it actually reboot when looping? You see the sony logo reappearing?
Does the device reboot to bootloader mode?

The adb daemon seems not to be started while the bootloop. When I go back to the AOSP v9 rom, I can see logs with the same command but it's pointless since this rom is booting well.

Assume you're asking due to the news about Gapps and 'Uncertified Device' problems.
Seems like a lot more is riding on MicroG now ...
Also, pretty sad that Google have done this ... Treble was probably the best thing they've done for Android since its inception, both for custom ROM development and potentially speeding up software updates for those who don't tinker with their phones.

Well custom ROMs are whitelisted and so far I have not reported any issue with the Uncertified Device stuff on this GSI nor on RR GSI either, both by phhusson of course

I don't think that is expected to remain the status quo. In fact if you read the screen / article, people running custom ROMs are expected to manually register their devices with Google ... and whether that is just a registration or additional tracking is unclear.

I know, I read the article, but until we receive the Android ID registration we can keep using custom ROMs in an uncertified manner, once we are required to registrate our device we will see what happens
This is a GSI (generic system image) for AOKP for devices with treble support...
this requires fastboot to flash the system image, if you dont know how to use fastboot, you shouldnt be here...

I'm building a new a/b build and a only build..I had to make a lot of changes to get it this far and it's at 90% on the ab build and a should take a lot less time since it doesn't need as much.. the only thing is I'm not positive I've got su working yet. I need to test it, but it's coming....
And thanks for using my roms on the Moto x pure...I loved that phone...if someone didn't steal it I'd prolly still be building for that phone

you need to wipe the data and twrp is the best at it.. fastboot boot wont flash twrp to the recovery partition, just boot into it.. some devices cant flash twrp

I just want to use the magisk,and then i will try it on treble-rom.

1. screen brightness is somehow set to 182%
2. cannot turn the screen off, it just sets it to a lock screen where it makes it slide to unlock, but the screen is not off, still on
3. its in chinese, i got to change it to engish, but some users arent smart enough to do that

I have this installed on my honor 9, and those bugs don't seem to occur, and, I know it's in Chinese, but it's easy enough to go into the settings and change it. If the users aren't smart enough to click 2 buttons they shouldn't have an unlocked bootloader.
I did actually try looking for a newer version in the 7to forums, but since it was all in Chinese (and Google translate wasn't too helpful) and the fact that the website is rubbishly designed, I couldn't find anything, but, this works for now, at least it can flash stuff and boots, that ls really all that's needed.
Actually, in chinese forums, its not hard to find this.
Here I share the latest twrp, which could be used in all kirin services and support treble roms in theory, and its develoler is "残芯此生不换".

Similar to Havoc with a lot of customization and some system app like mixexplorer or bootleggers wallpaper. Installed today, when i see the result, post the battery drain.

Edit 2-for now, best aosp based rom for mi9 in my opinion. All working very well, no freeze, no lag, no bootloop, no random reboots even with magisk, edxposed and some other stuff! Tomorrow we see the battery!

Does notch have overlay like in stock or xiaomi.eu rom?
Or is like in many other aosp roms?

Found a very frustrating bug. Everytime i plug the phone with my car and android auto start, all working good, but when i unplug the phone, all is black, touch not responding and i need to force reset the phone.
This is the only bug i found

Edit 2-for now, best aosp based rom for mi9 in my opinion. All working very well, no freeze, no lag, no bootloop, no random reboots even with magisk, edxposed and some other stuff! Tomorrow we see the battery!

Can not find place to dismiss NFC icon. Everything else works good.

1. Try and see if you can search for Status Bar in Settings to see if anything shows up.
2. Same as above, search for Blink.
I have see on occasions that certain menus and screens not being found in Settings but accessible via a search in both custom and stock ROMs. Please let us know if you found anything.

Glad to have been here, I'm so exciting about my new Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 5G coming for next week so, how about custom ROM we'll see next update? Pixel Experience? or OneOS?

I had been already got xiaomi pad 5 pro 5g version
This time,xiaomi restricted dailer apk couldn't run directly.
Also limited couldn't make the apk shortcut by manual.
Even more,xiaomi limited manual install any higher/lower version dialer apk.
So even root first,and flash Magisk voenabler plug-in zip.
This Tablet still couldn't make the volte call
So without contacter and dialer apk function,so far i couldn't breakthrough limited volte function.
If anyone can,please feel free to let anybody know how to do.

All that can be tried at such an early stage of the device's life is universal GSI ROMs at your own risk. If I'm not mistaken, it won't even require a custom recovery, but the result is unpredictable: from full functionality to soft brick.

Wish I saw this earlier. It's buried on the second page I didn't see. Would have saved me making a thread. I was going to try the Xiaomi contacts and dailer APKS but no point. I also found a very obscure YouTube video from Vietnam I guess trying to use Pad 5 pro 5G to send SMS messages to no avail.
Same issue here I'm using Verizon on LTE

Download gsi unzip the .img and then reboot fastboot with commie bunny then reboot to fastbooted using fastboot reboot fastboot.
U will see a blue fastbootd logo (text) then do fastboot flash system ./{lineageos19_gsi_here}.img
No custom GLOBAL ROM signal? Can you install a ROM of PAD 5 GLOBAL?
