Hey guys wondering if anyone experienced the phone being basically bricked without actually unlocking, rooting or anything.
It has happened before one, just laying on the table and the phone turning off but it came back on after a while.
Today it occurred again but has not turned back on for two days. When charging the only light is the LED flashing constantly every second. If I hold the power button and volume up then the flashing of the LED changes pace to One long flash (1 sec) to two quicker flashing ones (.5 seconds). If I unplug it and plug the phone back, The LED flashing is back to the original constant pace.
When unplugged sometimes holding the power and volume up button initiates the LG logo and then turns off and then shows the logo once more and then turns off for good.
If I plug this into the computer, its like someone ejecting a usb and plugging it in like a maniac. I heard the connecting and disconnecting sounds from windows nonstop like as if its about to blow up.
I've tried holding the power button for a minute the same goes with different combinations with the volume buttons.
The only thing I haven't tried is opening the phone, kind of afraid I will mess it up. Any solutions?

Never heard of this but I can throw a few suggestions out. Try unplugging, then holding both Volume buttons and the power button (All three) for about 10 seconds. Try different USB ports.
Try this if all else fails: Source: http://cellphoneforums.net/lg/t348484-perform-master-hard-reset-lg-optimus-g.html#axzz2YPtvkfDk
To Perform a Master Reset via Hardware
1. Turn off your device.
2. With the device turned off, press and hold the Volume Down key as well as the Home key at the same time.
3. While both the Volume Down key and the Home key are held down, press the Power button.
4. When the LG logo appears, release all the keys.
5. Scroll to and highlight wipe data/factory reset by pressing the Volume Down key. Then press the Power button.
6. Scroll to and highlight Yes – delete all user data by pressing the Volume Down key. Then press the Power button.
7. As soon as the wipe has been completed, press the Volume Down key to scroll to and select wipe cache partition. Press the Power button when ready.
8. As soon as the wipe has been completed, press the Power button to select reboot system now.
9. The master reset should now be successfully completed and your LG Optimus G should restart.

I have no idea, when I plugged it in and check device manager, its constantly refreshing as its connecting and disconnecting the phone very fast. Is there another way to check

Anyways, doesnt matter guys thanks for trying, decided to just go in att and buy a samsung s4
Dear all I have look up in the past posts but it doesn't help
The phone show a 100% charged battery logo when plug in to PC, but won't turn on
ADB Interface cannot list the phone (maybe I didn't turn on the debugging mode before this problem happens)
The phone cannot go into Recovery/Download mode
When I put it on charge, it vibrate and charge symbol shows for a few seconds and then it would go to sleep. If I press volume up/down or home button, the charge symbol pops up again. but not for the power button.
Please Help. Thanks.
Hmm. It either could be really sinister... Or simple.
Have you considered the power button may be faulty? That would account for it not turning on, but waking when you press the volume key. It would also not allow you to enter recovery or download mode. Its apparently (I haven't needed to myself) not hard to DIY replace it. Search on here/google for how to do it, I don't have a specific guide in mind though sorry.

Phone was running LP Pacman rom and did fine for several weeksbut then started bootlooping for no apparent reason. Now it bootloops if I plug in the charger cable or hold down both volume keys or the volume down key even if I dont press the power button. If I press the power button by itself without plugging in the charger cable it doesn't do anything. When I take out and put in the battery the "SAMSUNG" logo come on momentarily but then nothing. I cant get it into recovery or download mode and Odin doesn't see the phone. I didn't drop the phone or get it wet or anything. Any ideas? does this sound like a hardware problem with the power button?
I enabled the setting earlier where your touches are shown, and that is the only thing I can see on the screen, apart from the grey pop ups that come from the bottom when you try to use Bixby (it says that Bixby cannot be used while the power saving mode is on) or if I plug in a usb (it tells me that I can't transfer data until I enable the option to do so on the phone)
The power meter when the phone is shutdown and charging is shown too, and so is the Samsung logo on boot.
The phone still vibrates.
I don't mind factory resetting, but I cant actually transfer any of my data to my computer since it denies the permission without me enabling it on the phone.
Power button + Volume down doesn't fix it.
Power button + Volume Up + Bixby send's me to a list with a few options.
I've already tried resetting the cache, which did nothing.
Safe mode shows the words 'Safe mode' in the bottom left of the screen, but everything else stays the same. The rest of the screen is still black and the phone behaves the same way.
I have USB debugging enabled, so could I run an adb command to turn off power saving?
When someone calls me, it rings, but nothing shows up on the screen. I know that the touchscreen works but trying to press and guess the buttons didn't answer or decline. I could just be pressing on the wrong area though.
i have this tablet which i think is bricked, it wont turn on even if i hold down volume up or down. when I connect it to the pc, after 30/60 seconds the com port appears (screenshot), after 1 second it disappears and continues like this. would anyone know what to do? flash a firmware? in the screenshots there are all the information of the motherboard
similar issues i had with my chinese tablets. The core issue i figured was that they don't hold charge any more and the battery drops like 20-40% with every restart. so the best way to get this up back is to put it on charge for few hours. then hold the vol up + power button, you should see the recovery mode/options page where when you press vol up button you can choose between 3 options of recovery, fastboot, normal. keep presessing vol up and go to normal and then press vol down to reboot into normal mode. if you have a different battery to replace, start there. Good Luck!
