My DN2103 bricked after a Update and i flashed a new rom on it but forgott to make a backup of the Persist.img now im faceing the problem that the Fingerprint and Camera is no longer working... And yes ik every device has its own Persist.img but i heard from People that other Persists also could workout for Camera (dont really need Fingerprint)
If someone got the File please let me know!

Dont want to be rude but please can u accept the request u got an email from google that i want access to the file
It would be best to send your device to a oneplus service centre as like you said, the persist image is unique to every device.
Its very unlikely someone else's persist image will enable your camera to work on the oneplus nord 2 - but some people have reported apps like gcam were able to sometimes work.
Even if that's the case the functionality of the phone is heavily compromised as gps, WiFi, Bluetooth and accelerometer functions may also be impacted

I flashed the Persist.img and right now im texting from the Oneplus Nord 2 as far as i can say everything is working and it enabled my camera so i can use it now again (only thing as mentioned above the fingerprint isnt working) but bluetooth, gps, wifi are working for me too.
And yes i know it would be better to send it to a service center but right now i have no time i go on holidays (thats the reason why i wanted the camera to work).
If something bad happens or i see anything what is not working i let u know guys

If you use google chrome you can translate the hole page , but you still need to register on baidu site . Problem is that it need a phone number and i really don't like this kind of registering. For example on miui site you don't need a phone number to register. Maybe the rom will be posted there too .

We finally did it!
With the help of a guy called alexax66 we ported
CM14.1 to A310f.
There are major bugs like no simple card detected etc.
To get through the setup wizard, skip WiFi and then add once you are in system!
You can root the device by flashing supersu.
DOWNLOAD: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B6vI9V6s4jvbZlUyb0JCanJXcTg?usp=sharing DOWNLOAD the 2 files, flash the rom, (it has bigger size) and then the Patch!
This is not a port sorry. It is an unofficial build.
I tried it yesterday and it's really nice, but got RIL problems.
Made by alexax66 on 4PDA.ru according to the updater-script.
Removed SIM and inserted again, but on reboot it was gone.
Flashed gapps and got playstore working. Havn't tried anything else as I had to flash back to working rom.

Yes this is the big problem, no sim card detected.
But this rom is awsome, for exemple we have 8 cores activate and the benchmark score is very good

I've Found two new bug :
The touch sensors remain backlight when you touch the screen (I don't know if it's a bug but for the batterie...)
the voice recorder slows down the sound when played back.
the rom works great, I could do more testing when the sim card bug is corrected

Good luck then.
It may be impossible to make it fully working without building from sources, and not even that is a guarantee to get ril working without bugs.

Sure, Xiaomi has reserved a software method, but it needs their internal signature, which is impossible to get.

im uploading my custom N986U A12 Rom if anybody else wants it. I made sure to odin all the files on my phone beforehand and it went smoothly, but i cannot promise anything lol.This will wipe your phone though, as i didnt want any unnecessary problems. Once your about to finish setup, the sim manager should pop up. Just turn your sim off, and on again to restore data. IDK why it requires that, but its only once. If you dont get the manager, it should be in data settings. Took around 8 hours before performance improved but now its just as fast as A11. Flash in the corresponding slots in patched odin.Based on N986USQS2EULE

I have tried every single Odin available hahahhaa and doesnt flash. (FAILED)

Well I'm having an audio issue now. Phone runs great, all smooth animations and everything... until i playback ANYTHING with audio. It'll play for 3 seconds and then stutter/stop for 3 seconds. Voicemails, Spotify, YouTube... you name it.
Did a factory reset and still the same thing. Any ideas?
EDIT: So after some tinkering with permissions i was able to resolve the issue. I believe it had something to do with bixby and full time mic access. Smooth sailing now!

I flashed both on V1 bootloader as posted and still have my BL unlock.
Been on Android 10 since release of this device. The change is nice, rom running pretty good. Thanks for this.
Im getting Android System Keeps Stopping when trying to share any photos from gallery. Using U1 version
So glad to have a OneUI 4 ROM to mess with. Thank youuuu. I can confirm the photo sharing from gallery crashes gallery bug but I haven't noticed anything else. Overall really nice although maybe not as good on battery as the older one ui.

Still on the 2030 version here, what region are you in ?
You can update manually, if you wish, by downloading the firmware from the asus support website and leaving the zip file on the root of the phone. A popup will appear upon reboot asking if you want to update.
I am on the latest and see no difference, unfortunately.

No, OTA functionality is intact, until you unlock the bootloader
I got the OTA of this update overnight
The the processing feels faster IMO but no quality change. I was also getting my screen stuck at 60hz after unlucking and the update seems to fixed it. Which is nice
No real improvement. I'm waiting for a fix when shooting raw - it takes 1 sec to take a picture after pressing the shutter.
I don't see any change in picture quality, sadly.

Again they brag about camera improvements...

That seems to be only APN list update. No mentions of the camera
Try the Android 13 beta, the camera is better there. Also, the experience has been stable for me so far, no major bugs discovered yet. Nicely suitable for daily driver.
