Hey there. I'm new here and have a rooting question as the title illistrates. I just recently bought an HTC Droid Incredible 2. I already updated to 2.3.4 Gingerbread. So my question is, can you root the phone with the update or not?
a quick search says yes. go check out the DInc2 subforum.
When I search for this phone I see that it is possible to root.

When you will put in a custom ROM you will gain ROOT access most of the times automaticly as most custom ROMS have already ROOT access.
Hi guys im a new member here and have been using the tips in here to root almost all the devices i have at home, but i bought a new tablet and i wited to know if root acces is available for it. I have search around the web and found nothing that can help. Also i wanted to know if it was possible to somehow extract this tablets kdz just in case. Im not a complete noob and i am able to follow ypur instructions preety well

Yup!!, go to theQ&A section of this site, once there type "kyocera" in "search this forum" search box. You will see my question and an answer by TroyFoxxin who was brave enough to try a root exploit and voila !!! It worked. He has links to tell you how. Also you can look under Android forums under the all things root section all there. Just remember there is no recovery for this phone so think twice before you remove anything.

hi all i bought a excelvan 10.1 tablet model M1009B UltraOcta-A83 running 5.1.1 i would like to root but not sure what to use plus the tablet has no volume keys they are on screen in settings i can boot in to stock recovery but im not able to navigate thru the settings any help would be great thanks.

Add a question mark at the end of the thread title. Right now it looks like you are writing to us, telling us how to root it, but in real, you are just asking how to root it.
