Hello, I have a question...
I have a Vivo smartphone.
I have been hacked and had spyware on my smartphone even after I did factory reset.
I realized I have to flash the stock rom again.
Problem:
1. I have come across many websites claiming to provide official stock ROM...
Download Vivo Stock ROM for all models - hardreset33
You can download any Vivo smartphone flash file here. Download Android mobile latest and original stock ROM or Firmware version.
www.hardreset33.com
Vivo all models Stock Rom Firmware Download – FLASH FILE TOOL
Vivo Firmware direct easy & free all Vivo models flash file, usb drivers, working imei tools We have full package for Vivo android smartphones.
flashfiletool.com
In fact these websites look scammy....
Where can one ACTUALLY find the official stock ROM files?
2. How can one find the files on this website XDA because this is my first time using the website?
3. how can we confirm files found on XDA have not been tampered with?
Thank you in advance for posting your replies...
Hm it has been very easy to register to this website XDA and post a question... Really pleasant experience. Usually forums are so annoying with millions of rules on how to ask a question, what to ask, in which subsection bla bla bla... Confirming the account etc etc....
I am really pleasantly surpsied.
I look forward to receiving some constructive replies because I am indeed quite frustrated having spent 4 hours googling "vivo official stock rom" and having actually found absolutely nothing reassuring.
I have basic knowledge in python, mysql and php so for me as an amateur programmer, it sounds crazy to just go and download an OS from a random website and install it on your smartphone.
I don't understand the implications very well but that seems rather wild to me...
It's like downloading your microsoft windows iso image from whatever website you found somewhere?! :S

Hi,
I'm new on the forum and I hope I'm writing in the right section.
I'm going to be a new android user as well because my Lenovo Lephone is coming end of this week?
Unfortunately there is no section for it because I guess it is only available in China.
The phone is already rooted: XXX://androidforums.com/all-things-root-lephone/102624-root.html (I'm not permitted to link)
There are some neg points:
- the market is not installed
- there is no custom rom
I'm not at all a programmer or something close but I'm ready to learn, to try and to get my hands dirty. I will just need some paths and answers.
My questions:
- Is it very difficult to create (or adapt) a custom rom to a android-phone when it is rooted? What should I do?
- Is it possible to install the market to the initial rom? Or should I flash it? Should I add it to the initial rom when it is extracted.
- Does this tutorial to extract the rom work for any android phone? ([TUTORIAL] How to unpack Android ROMs on Windows)
Thanks in advance for replying,
Best regards

Hi all, I am really new this forum so please request mods to approve any mistakes or please shift my post to any suitable thread.
I got myself a Karbonn A12 recently and found that it comes with ICS 4.0.4. I am planning to upgrade it to JB, but no update was found from the manufacturer site. Hence I request everyone, if you come up with any update please ping me inn.
Dear senior members please provide me some link for Custom JB roam for my Karbonn A12.
Thanks all
Sent from my A12 using xda app-developers app
I want to upgrade to JB too
If anyone know how to flash Karbonn a12 please post it here. I'm noob to android but I can learn stuff if I have to compile something, I'm good at linux, please help!
karbonn a12
It has been an year since a12 launched and no one has come up with a root.... a12+ is still new and xda is filled with custom roms on it. whats wrong
As you're new here, I'll tell you some important things.
One of the important rules of XDA is to first search for your query but it seems you didn't put any effort into searching. And why would you post in Themes section if you want to know about OS update?
Also, devices like Karbonn & Micromax don't have much custom development as they use MediaTek processors. If you want to know more about these things, Google them. Thread reported.
To all Karbonn a12 users use "Vroot" app on PC to root your device, it works.
But I couldn't able to find any custom recovery or custom ROM for this device anywhere yet..
Hello. I was looking for this topic almost everywhere. My tablet Huawei Mediapad 10 Link LTE (S10-201L) resets itself from time to time. sometimes he is doing it several times in a few minutes. Do you think dear forum members, it's a matter of bad captured root / rom currently loaded wrong? Give me a link (if there is such a topic) to the topic where it is described how to upload firmware clean in this model.

Actually, my device isn't LG one. But I wanna to port the android 4.4 rom to my GT i8262. But I cannot extract the KDZ file. I'm just stuck at middle!
Do anyone know how to extract that without issue?
If anyone have fully extracted one, can him/her to send it?
@jayabandara Three threads including this one have been closed as duplicates of the thread that you've already created:
How to port Android oreo go rom to my GT i8262
After days of searching, I couldn't find way to port an oreo go edition rom to my gt i8262. I wanna do this because my device's stock rom is too buggy and slow now! I found that android go roms are faster than normal stock roms. So I wanna know...

I recently bought this device and due to the seller's fault, did not send me the global ROM it came with a ROM for Russia, Poland, and other regions.
I'm from Brazil and my language is Brazilian Portuguese.
I have no experience with ROM manipulation. I have read tutorials e researched about it, but I still don't feel safe, and hope some good soul can help me. I'm afraid of bricking or damaging my device.
I downloaded SP Flash Tool v.6.2216 (latest version), the drivers, and a ROM of this
website: "https://androidmtk.com/download-infinix-stock-rom" . I don't know if this Stock ROM is a global version and I don't know how to know either.
This version of SP Flash Tool is different from the tutorial that is attached to the page and the versions below this one say that they do not support X67 processors.
The only thing I want is to be able to install my language on my phone.
Is there any risk of damaging it?
Installing this ROM would bring the result I expect?

I apologize for the inappropriate location, I didn't mean to.
I don't speak English and I use a translator for communication and some things go unnoticed.
Thanks for the correction.

1)download the firmware for the device
2) and magisk
3) install magisk to device
4) you get the boot.img file from the firmware archive
5) patch the boot file via magisk
6) you are doing an oem unlock bootloader (for all mtk can be found on the Internet)
(your data will be completely lost, so we make backups)
7)
Code:
fastboot flash <your magisk boot patches file .img> boot_a
fastboot flash <your magisk boot patches file .img> boot_a
fastboot reboot recovery
8) wipe data -> yes
9) aaaand reboot
Profit
Hello,
Thanks a lot for your reply. Really Appreciate it.
I had already unlocked my bootloader. The Firmware build I was having on my phone was not available on internet, Couldn't find it on official website.
I tried all kind of softwares like Droid root tools etc but they couldn't detect my device fully so I could extract boot.img file and also backup my firmware.
After lot of Struggle I finally found someone on fiverr who helped me in Rooting the device.
Thanks a lot Again for taking time to reply.
This will help me in future and others too.
Best Wishes
XOS 13 EU ROM
Ported from the Infinix NOTE 30 Pro,
the NOTE 12 PRO probably won't get XOS13.
It works without any problems
I removed the bloatware from the firmware
