Hello, i'm trying to flash TWRP recovery to my xperia xz1 SOV36 (poplar_kddi) but i got this error:

I downloaded recovery image from: https://dl.twrp.me/poplar_kddi/twrp-3.6.2_9-0-poplar_kddi.img.html
What should i do? I had unlocked the bootloader. Thanks!
ah i solved this, i press volume down so it's only flash official rom ehe.

So I was trying to install TWRP and failed. I'm stuck on fastboot getting error messages. I was on stock android 10.
I've tried finding help from other threads but it didn't work:

One time the installation was successful but after rebooting phone I got a warning about that the system is destroyed and it booted into fastboot again.

Hey I am trying to root my device so when I try to Install custom recovery I get this error writing" 'recovery' failed (remote 'not allowed in locked state) ".I thought it was my bootloader fault and I reunlocked my bootloader still says the same thing. What do I do?

Can you share what process you followed to unlock bootloader? So I can assist you further.
I want to install TWRP, during installation everything works normally. But when I want to boot into TWRP, a failure message appears on the ADB command line.

Previously I was on the EU MIUI Custom ROM. All happened after I tried to flash the MIUI 11 Global firmware.

Looks like partition /recovery in Android doesn't actually exist hence can't get overridden by Fastboot.
