Just lost Google Pay - OnePlus Nord N10 5G Questions & Answers

I had my N10 5G rooted with Magisk, universal sefetynet fix, denylist, MagiskHide, etc.
After the latest OTA my device still passes Safetynet fully, but Google Wallet disabled tap to pay because it detected root.
Anyone else have this?

New Mi Pad 2 failing safetynet etc...

Hi there,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, just got the tablet yesterday and still am a newbie to Xiaomi MIUI...
New tablet (Miui-M7.5.2.0 stable over Android 5.1), fresh out of the box, logged into Google and opened playstore, message pops up and asks if I want to update SuperSU...?!?! Not what I would expect to be pre-installed...
Quick search for Netflix in the playstore - not there at all, brand new tablet not passing safetynet...
Is this normal and has got something to do with the custom MIUI interface?
I then got rid of SuperSu (as it's not the original chainfire one and no SuHide) via the inbuilt SuperSu menu (still not passing safetynet of course).
I installed the Magisk MANAGER (not Magisk!) as it checks for safetynet. After SuperSu deinstalled the tablet is marked as not rooted, manager has an option to install Magisk - would this be safe to do via the manager and not via TWRP or similar? (then I could try the hide root option)
Developer options show that USB debugging is enabled, OEM unlocking however is not.
Other things I noticed - MIUI interface is pretty 'aggressive' (didn't allow to change the default launcher) and there are a lot of background services connecting to the internet (Xiaomi service framework, Intel, Mi Cloud, inbuilt Calendar - tablet works fine if blocking them with the noroot firewall).
In the developer options the 'MIUI optimization' can be turned off - would this revert it to something more 'stock'?
The tablet, when long-pressing the power button and choosing reboot, also gives the option to boot into recovery and fastboot. Booting into system then takes ages (I thought it would get stuck) - is this due to the MIUI 'optimization'?
So,not sure if this system is just very 'open' or has been tempered with beforehand?
Thanks a lot for your help everyone!
Edit: Aaaargh - sorry, meant to be in the Q&A thread

Hi there,
Thanks a lot for the link -
I'm not 100% sure that's what I need as the Mi Pad 2 is not unlocked or has TWRP installed - at the moment it should still have full warranty as I (apart from uninstalling the included SU via the app itself) have not altered the system as such.
Going down that path would mean Unlock, flash TWRP and Magisk, then the patch if still needed.
It might be worth a try if there is no other solution, but afaik under the loss of warranty....

Firmware Update EMUI 9.0.0.168 - Google Pay stopped working (safety net check fail)

Hi all,
Just got my firmware updated today to 9.0.0.168. Everything works OK but found out that my Google Pay stopped working - which was working fine prior to update.
Just wondering if anyone else encountered the same issue? Basically when I try to add a cc which have been working fine for weeks before with the same exact phone - it is now saying that the device is rooted or has some incompatible device.
My phone is not rooted or have any root / su apps installed at all. The only thing I did was to update the firmware to the new version.
I've read that Google Pay use safety net checks and I downloaded the safety net status check app from playstore and I get a CTS profile mismatch failure.
Is this expected for a new firmware? If not, anyone know how to get Google Pay working again?
Many thanks!

help guys with s9 plus showing rooted message

I just bought a secon handed s9 plus and installed mobileiron, starting with the profil creation an error message showed up telling that security policy prevents creating a work profile because a custom os has been installed, phone is showing knox version and seems locked even in rot checker it saying not complete root, i dont really understand such thing.
Another tmessage poped from samsung pass telling that is rooted device how should i solve this, i need to install mobileiron it is mandatory.
Thnx for the support guys
Do you have a G965F? You can try flashing a complete stock firmware package and see if that fixes it. If not then perhaps the app is detecting that the bootloader/Knox has been tripped, in which case your only solution might be to go with full on root and use a module to hide root.

Biometric (fingerprint) data changes after reboot

Hi,
I have Blackview BV9800Pro, stock Android Pie, rooted with magisk.
I recently noticed that my mobile payments and banking apps like paypal does turn off the fingerprint (in app) for the login if phone is rebooted, while it works perfectly on screenlock. So after reboot I have to go to android settings and remove that fingerprint and re-add it then and so it will work again untill I reboot again.
Any ideas about this issue?

fingeprint not working with magisk stock 12.1 hd1913_11_f20

I have upgraded to the latest android 12 hd1913_11_f20. A have rooted the phone using magisk 26.1. installed module initrchider 0.0.1 and universal safetynet fix 2.4.0. Phone works fine, google pay and bank apps working flawlessly.
Only thing I cant get working is the fingerprint scanner. I have tried colorosmagisk 1.2.zip but I have massive battery drain when the module is ínstalled but it make fingerprint working.
Anyone else have this issue? And know how to fix it?
Edit: just did some testing and i removed the module safetynet-fix-v2.4.0-MOD_1.2
Now fingerprint are working.
Installed Universal_SafetyNet_Fix-v2.4.0(20400).
rebooted and fingerprint worked for 5 minutes and now it doesnt work again...
edit 2: installed safetynet-fix-v2.3.1-MOD_2.1. fingerprint is now working
