Lg l9 P769 v20 f tmobile rooted locked boot loader. I've flashed factory rom twice and completed swap script. First question, unlocking boot loader allows me to flash custom rooms? or am I able to as I am now. 2nd,I've used swap script for internal external sd storage, seems to work at showing swapped memories at settings storage but as I download, objects seem to go to smaller internal sd automatically. Where would I go from here, I've tinkered with folder mount but haven't found a good guide or my phone specific information. My main goal would be to store most downloaded apps(total data) to external, which I know is a lot of people's goal but I don't know what I can do or what to do from here. I appreciate any help, everyone here wants to use things to their fullest extent and I love that.

[Q] open .backup from stock recovery

Hello everyone,
I had to factory reset my cinko slim android phone given that it didn't boot anymore (it was stuck at the opening logo). The recovery mode was the only thing available (I use a stock rom).
I had all my phone contacts stored in the internal memory so before doing that I made a backup to my sd card using the stock recovery (it made a 1gb .backup file in my sd card).
After wiping all the datas, I was able to use my phone without any problem but the recovery mode wasn't available anymore (the device gets stuck on the android logo when trying to access it).
So I tried to load the .backup file into another android device from its respective recovery mode but a message appeared reading ''checksum compare fails''.
Is there a way I can access all my datas from this .backup file and get back my phone contacts?
Thank you very much for your help
Solution?
Hi momomr,
exactly the same happened to me yesterday. Did you solve this problem somehow?
Thanks for answer

Need help - i9100 doesnt show /data or has access to it

Hi.
I did something wrong. Very wrong and now i need help from you, the experts.
I've been trying out the new roms (minimalos, cm13, xpe) and once i went in recovery and did a "format "/data". I have no idea why i did that. After that, the phone wouldnt go to os. Tried several things. And now, for example, cwm couldnt show any data. I could flash a new rom but that was all. Tried repitting with I91001GB_4GB.pit or the original one and no difference (heimdall). I had enough of all and i flashed back to stock from sammobile but the problem persists - no data avaliable or internal sd. If i try to take a photo in stock it says "turn off usb storage before using camera".
Mainly, the problem is that i cannot access internal or external storage (well, microsd is accessible via recovery). Nothing shows up in filemanager (stock or cm13) and i cannot use any app that uses storage of anykind (camera, filemanager,...).
Any advice of whats the next step of fixing this back to normal?

Format internal sd card(sdcard0) as default(vfat) from recovery and you should be able to access internal storage again

Internal Storage Reduced to 3.8GB

Hi ,I updated my HH7 PLK-L01-C185B130 (middle east version) to B380 and then by OTA to B382. I found that security and fast charging options were gone in this update. so I decided to downgrade to Lollipop. I used Rollback package 6.0-5.0.2 to downgrade. although it installed but didn't showed the transition firmware (B300). Now I put already downloaded C432B121 ROM into dload folder of micro SD and flashed it. it installed successfully and now build number is PLK-L01C432B121. The problem is phone's internal storage has been reduced to only 3.8Gb total. :crying::crying:
I have tried to go to recovery mode to wipe data and cache but it fails and shows "Software install failed"
I know i have mixed the firmwares and the old one would still be present in internal storage which has consumed all the storage. Please guide me to recover this. thank you
Can you bring your device to the service center?

Please help,Interrupted Encryption,Internal storage older file present&not accessible
Hello,
I have a poco f1 and I tried to encrypt for company purposes.
The phone stuck in boot for hours, manually rebooted and the phone was wiped and miui was new as factory reset, but the internal storage shows it is occupied the same sapce as it was before this issue but the files are no longer accessible.
I have TWRP v3.3 and it was rooted before encryption but, now lost root.
Please help me if i can gain access to the files somehow. I have my work related files
The files will not be accessible because you did factory reset. That's why make use of the sdcard slot from now on.
